Irish Air Heating & Cooling is a third generation family business that is locally owned and operated. With over 50 years of experience we are committed to perfecting your home’s indoor air quality. All our technicians are certified by the North American Technician Excellence, which ensures that our technicians know how to solve the problem keeping you from complete comfort. Our company’s mission statement is founded upon operational excellence. We want to provide you with service that is friendly, professional, and timely but most importantly we strive to be technically excellent. With technicians who know what they are doing and how to solve problems we get your air working faster and we can guarantee it will stay that way for longer when it is fixed right the first time. It’s easy to forget about the machines that keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Our full service cleaning will keep your AC and Furnace running smoothly during the peak of each season so you don’t have to worry. Want even more peace of mind? Sign up for our Service Agreement and we’ll take care of cleaning both units for the year, we’ll also put you on our priority service list meaning emergency service on holidays and no overtime rates, and we’ll give you a 20% discount on any repairs that are needed.

Description of Work: Came to look at our furnace on short notice. Had it diagnosed in a few minutes and was finished in no time flat. No games and no attempt to upsell us. Overall price was less than anticipated. Their up front fee was less than a couple of other HVAC companies that i called too - and I would have to wait 2 days before coming out.

Description of Work: We replaced an internal air conditioner. They were completely transparent (nothing was hidden) and professional. They had to do work in our small attic storage area - in there was a dead water heater (when we asked for bids from other vendors about removing the water heater, most said it would cost $800). Irish said, Let's look at it and see what it entails. Well, they looked and said it would be straight forward (NOTE: to get downstairs, they had to go through the loft and a spiral staircase). They did it and when we asked how much, Irish said, It was no big deal so it will cost nothing. Back to their work on replacing the air conditioner - the workers were professional, one came back the following day after the project to check on it and the system works fine. Irish provided 4 estimates of different air conditioners, spent time explaining factors that can impact the final SEER and other factors. We would definitely use them again and STRONGLY recommend their service.

He was really great and went to a lot of lengths. I was very pleased with him. It was a very reasonable price. He looked at the heating system and he even called the maker of my heating system to see what could be done so I didn't have to replace it. It was above and beyond what anyone would expect for a quote. He was very friendly, down to earth and totally understanding. He came two times. He was an older gentleman and he was very friendly. It was like having a friend come that knew about HVAC systems. He was a warm and kind person. When I get back to working I am definitely going to call them to do the work.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Irish Air to replace my heating and air conditioning system. He looked at the system to see what was wrong with it because the heating system is 30 years old.

The tech was very personable, honest and polite. I was, with some technical knowledge (apparently not enough), certain the compressor was defective. Jim immediately noticed I had installed a compressor start capacitor that was far from the correct value, even though the system had worked fine for a few years. My wife and I were expecting a defective compressor diagnosis, which would have cost considerably more than what we paid. We are both ecstatic, and will definitely recommend IrishAir to our friends and family.
Description of Work: IrishAir installed compressor start & boost capacitors to return the compressor to operational status, recharged system with freon, repaired condensation discharge line, cleaned furnace flame sensor, & provided invaluable information for keeping system running @ top efficiency.

The company gave a quick response to a question I had. They qouted me the best price in town, over $120 lower than a guy who did work on the side and about 400-500 less than what the average company was quoting me. They were puntual, easy to get ahold of and returned my calls promptly. I dealt with Jim and Matt who were both very professional. Would definetely refer any/everyone to this company. After installing the heat pump they ran a check on the entire heating and cooling system to check for efficiency. I love this company. You would be a fool to choose any other.
