Description of Work: Insight has been our pest control service for several years. They do a great job and we have had few issues with insects in the house since we started working with them. The technicians are knowledgeable and personable, and willing to take the time to do the job right.

Description of Work: Insight had sprayed the regular prevention spray this spring. However, we discovered we had carpenter ants, so they came out two times, free of additional charge, to make sure they were eliminated. Ants are GONE!

Description of Work: Switched to another provider because they were cheaper, but think Insight's pesticides did a better job. May switch back in a year.

Description of Work: The pest control service itself was adequate, and a special problem was delt with quickly. However, the original sales pitch was deceptive in terms of total cost, and once locked in, impossible to change, short of hiring a lawyer. I made it quite clear with multiple emails and phone calls, and I believe a short letter, that I did not want to continue the service after struggling to pay for one year's service. Their technicians kept coming for several quarters, despite my requests. One of the technicians told my wife |that he had run into such complaints, and was submitting his resignation because he couldn't stay with this type of company. I would not recommend this company to anyone based upon their business practices.

Description of Work: Insight Pest control provides quarterly pest control services. They always send an email and leave a voice message a couple of days before they arrive. The service techs are always very courteous and thorough.

Description of Work: After one treatment the company never returned. I called them |Multiple times but never could talk to a person. Then after 1.5 years they called me in March to see if I wanted to continue the service. Apparently I fell through the cracks all the way to China.

Description of Work: I was very turned off by the pushy, aggressive nature of the door to door salesman who came to my house. He stood very close, despite my continued efforts to back away, he wouldn't take no for an answer, and he was unprofessionally critical of our current pest control provider even though he admitted to not knowing him or the chemicals he uses. | |He tried to get me to sign up for a $1 application, acting like I had nothing to lose, and then I discovered that the $1 application would require me to sign a contract for $300+ in additional services for a year. If you offer top-notch chemicals and services, why do you have to trap customers in expensive service contracts before those customers are able to evaluate your work?

Description of Work: Quarterly they come and spray outside of the home, but will come inside if you ask them to for the same price. (The first time they do both). If you see any bugs between services inside or out, they will come back out at no charge. They are terrific, been using them for 3-4 years now.

Description of Work: It's average. they come and wipe away spiderwebs. Not that many anyways. treat the cement cracks where insects harbor. However, we still have spiders in the house as well as ants. I've used Home Defense spray that worked just as good. I just think it's a little overpriced

Description of Work: I have used Insight for years. Recently, however, they expanded and everything changed. they went from local to national. I used to have the same tech every quarter until he became so frustrated with the changes made by Insight, he quit. I will use a company often based on the way their employees are treated. They treated "Sam" horribly and now he is gone. Since then, I have had 3 no shows. One of those times I had to call to inquire about the missed appt. Someone in N. Carolina told me there was a computer glitch and the automated calls for scheduling were off a week. There have been 2 more no shows without any calls. I have let it go and haven't contacted them because i am unsure what I want to do about it. I think I am going to fire them but I really like their product. But if they don't show up, that's a moot point. |I know that several of their techs have been known to get to a house and not perform the job; filling out their form and putting it on the door and leaving. That is totally unacceptable and I only trusted "Sam"and he is no longer there. |My ratings are based on the present Insight and not the one before they got too big. I'm not opposed to expansion, but this is an example of bigger not being better. I guess I should call them now and cancel my contract.

Description of Work: After having two consecutive appointments cancelled at the last minute and then rescheduled again, AND cancelled again, that was the last straw for me. To add to this frustration, I did call-in to cancel my service last fall, which for some reason was not recorded. I received a call late in February, notifying me of my upcoming treatment, which the day prior to this appointment was cancelled again. My service has now been officially cancelled!

Description of Work: quarterly pest control treatments. Product is good, technicians are professional and courteous, however, customer service reps including manager till date have not called back for an issue I called about but only made fake promises every time I called.

Description of Work: We signed a quarterly contract with Insight Solutions and are very glad we do. Every time the technician removes spider webs, places insect granuals around exterior perimeter & through bushes, sprays insect repellant around windows & doorways. When needed, they come inside & treat for insects.
