They sprayed the planter boxes of lettuce. My husband ate some lettuce and was throwing up a lot, continuously. They did not provide assistance, guidance OR any monetary refund. Basically, the attitude was so what? Will never use them again. Customer service was deplorable. Back with Orkin.

One person came out to do the work and it took him about a hour. They let you know if they find something if you are home.They don't give you enough notice to be home when do the service. The treatments are fine.

I get an email letting me know they're coming, and a receipt left in my door. I can call them (and have) if there's anything else I need. They came out to take down a hornet's nest--glad they were the ones doing it, not us! And no extra charge. People are pleasant, knowledgeable, and we don't have the problems with wasps, spiders, ants, etc. is gone, even though we live in the country.

Looks like most webs are gone. We have a lot of trees on our property and we seem to have a lot of spider webs.

I've been using them for over a year now. They're professional. They spray inside and outside. Their customer service people are exceptional. Whenever I've called, they get right on it - they're very professional. If you have something later that comes up, they'll come back and spray. They're wonderful!

The service was initially late due to a miscommunication. Upon learning of the miscommunication, the company handled it very professionallyZ service was supposed to take place between 4-6, and when nobody had shown up by 5:30, I called to see what was going on. It turns out they came earlier and worked the outside of our house. Was the miscommunication. As soon as they learned of this, the receptionist on the phone, who was polite and understanding, dispatched the manager, and within 30 minutes the technician (Robert) was back out to the house to take care of the spot treatment that was initially needed, they did not charge for the fall but routine service they had provided earlier in the day. The technician, Robert was courteous and professional and competent. We were happy with the service.

The first application seemed fine and I didn't have any major problems. They were a little expensive (which was off-putting when their pitch was that they were cheaper than everyone else) but I gladly paid. After the second seasonal application we started to see issues. Ants were coming into the house. Spiders were running everywhere outside (and inside). They were in bushes, in 6-7 windows, all of the deck. Wasps were everywhere. We already had all of our trees and shrubs cut back to make sure nothing was touching the house so we knew that wasn't the issue. Eventually we had to call another pest control company to fix the issues. I called to cancel the service for Insight to make sure I wouldn't be billed again and after failing to deliver the service that we paid for, they had the nerve to say that I'd have to pay a cancellation fee that was more expensive than just continuing with the service. I of course refused the extortion effort and now they are trying to send it to collections after being in breech of contract. In my opinion this kind of deceptive, unethical (and possibly fraudulent) business practice should be investigated by Angie's List, the BBB, and the Attorney General.
Description of Work: Insight Pest Control went door-to-door to solicit business. That should have been my first clue as to the horrible service I would receive in the future. They claimed to be cheaper than anyone else and would make sure that all of our insect problems would be taken care of. They showed up to spray for spiders, wasps, ants, etc.

They have been great to work with. They are very good about letting us know when they will be doing a treatment. If we have any problems between treatments, they are very quick about coming back out to treat again.

We are cancelling our service after 3 weeks of missed appointments by them, didn't show up for 3 appointments, and didnot contact us that they were not coming. Between June 17 and July 15, today, I have phoned the service at least 8 times. I kept a record of my calls. The people who answered the phone in NC, were pleasant, all said they would talk to their supervisor, but a supervisor never called me back or got the problem taken care. I was supposed to be issued a $75 credit, but as of today it was still not taken care of. 5 of the calls were about the credit between June 24 and today, July 15. I finally mailed a check and a letter of cancellation of service to the home office in NC. I deducted the $75 from my payment. This is not the first time we have had problems with them showing up for service, but it was the worst experience. After wasting 3 weeks, amounting to several hours of my time in phones, and missed appointments, we are done with Insight Pest Solutions.
Description of Work: We have had quarterly service with Insight for about 4 years. They were to use delta dust with web pole/ web head on cracks and crevices, spread granulation around perimeter of structure, back pack sprayer treatment around structure exterior. This was finally done on June 24.

The licensed applicator, Brandon Patterson, inspected our home both inside and out. He then applied pest control both inside and out explaining the process and expected results. He was friendly, professional and obviously knew what he was doing as well as able to explain the process. The company was recommended to us by our daughter and we are very pleased with the initial service. We are confident in our decision to switch from our previous quarterly pest control company to Insight Pest Solutions.

I have procrastinated writing this review for about 6 months.... We have had Insight spray the exterior of our home for a year or so. Every time they sprayed, it just drove the ants inside. We just kept giving them another chance, but did not contact the provider during this time. After the last exterior application, there were MANY ants in the garage, kitchen and upstairs bathroom. We wanted to give them a chance to spray the interior to solve the ongoing problem. My husband set up an appointment for 6/17/16, with the stipulation that we would pay the outstanding balance after the application. The rep agreed to this stipulation. Twenty minutes before the evening appointment window, (I think 5-7pm), my husband received a call stating the applier was sick and would need to reschedule. Husband contacted Insight the next day, set up appointment, and stated he would not pay the previous $112.00 balance until the new interior application was complete. This was agreed to by the scheduler. The appointment window for 6/22/16 (4-6pm) came and went with no contact from the company whatsoever. The following day, husband contacted Insight and was told they didn't come out because we hadn't paid the outstanding balance. Very disappointed they would not come and make the situation right, so we cancelled their services. They would not honor the verbal agreement of paying the full balance after ant situation was assessed after interior application. We were unsure if they had even sprayed at all, as we were lousy with ants after the last application.

When you called in on the 17th to reschedule your free re-treatment you spoke to a representative who helped you get a new appointment, they did so with the stipulation that you would pay the balance following the service. That stipulation was not properly notated, which is why the appointment never happened. This has been addressed with the representative and more training is being rendered as a result. On your initial service the technician creates a protective barrier around your home which in turn flushes the pest out. You should not be alarmed by an increase in activity, this means that the product is working correctly. This is why we tell our customers that things can get worse before they get better. We are very sorry for the inconveniences we have caused you. We would love to speak with you further about this. When is a good time to contact you? I just wanted an estimate and find out when they could come out.
Description of Work: I tried calling to get an estimate for a service and the call went to an answering service. She took my address and then after a few minutes came back and asked me for the address again.
