IndyAsh: Emerald Ash Borer Treatment Solutions

They are so caring. He treats ash trees like they are family. I have been very pleased with the company, they are well organized and run. He came exactly when he said he would.

I used my big deal purchase. It was a great deal. They must have lost money on it because I didn't do it with them this year. My interaction with them was very short. I called them about the deal and we scheduled the time to have it picked up and when I got home that day, it was gone. They seemed very pleasant. On the phone, they were very nice.

Treatments went as planned and in a timely fashion. I have rescheduled them again after receiving higher estimates from competitors.

I think it took a bit too long from the time I got the quote till the time the job got done, but at the end, I am hoping the Bore Ash bugs are dead.

Please see above experience. Overall, I was impressed with the professionalism and communication of this company. I was disappointed they had a Big Deal they could not follow up on due to excessive other jobs coming in. I wish they had followed up on the assessments due to a commitment to these customers, but understand it may have been a unique situation. Since then, I have heard several times of this company and the work they do to prevent and deal with Ash Borer, so I believe their description of what happened is factual.

A little tough to get a hold of - I never spoke with anyone there - but after a little voice mail tag we arranged for them to come out and treat my Ash tree. All in all it only took a week to get everything taken care of and the price for two years of protection ($120) was reasonable.

Lauren from Indy Ash was very prompt getting us an estimate. She marked all of our ash trees on the property and measured the DHB, then provided comments on the health of each tree which helped us decide which of the 13 trees were worthy of treatment. She phoned us several times following up on the estimate and was very patient answering all of our questions. We decided to treat 7 of the 13 trees. Several neighbors were also having their ash trees treated and Indy Ash combined the jobs to give all the neighbors a 20% discount. When they came out to actually treat the trees they were again very patient and spent quite a bit of time explaining the entire process of drilling into the base of the tree and how the product was entering the tree. I was very pleased with their professionalism and knowledge. It is hard to tell at this point if it will be a successful treatment since it will take at least 12 years before the Emerald Ash Borer is no longer a threat to our trees.

They were responsive and did a good job explaining what they were going to do. The work was pretty straight forward.

Company was easy to work with. Provided them tree measurements using their website and then obtained a quote. They completed the work with in a few days.

Bought christmas tree removal which was a Big Deal from Angie's list, they followed up with me promptly and were very timely.

I called Josh to have my Christmas Tree picked up. It was a very simple process. He had me leave my tree at the end of the driveway and then he came by to pick it up. He showed up on the day promised and removed it with no knowledge of him even being here. It was very easy. I did forget to mail in my payment ahead of time, so Josh emailed me and asked me to attach it to the end of the tree. Again very easy to deal with!! Found him on Angie's List and am glad that I searched in advance!

He was very knowledgeable and on time. We are planning on using him in the spring.

He discussed with me his treatment plan and treated the ash tree we indicated. He also diagrammed the location of other ash trees on the property and gave an estimate for treating them should we decide to do so, noting that some of the trees might belong to our neighbors and that he could provide a discount to our neighbors if desired. He was very professional, courteous, and not pushy. We will contact him again for further work. We found the price to be quite reasonable.

I did a little research and got a couple of different quotes from different companies. Indy ASH was by far the cheapest for a 2 year treatment. When I originally called them they were taking a few weeks off due to the weather (it had been blazingly hot here in August) and said it was too hot for treatments and they were all out for training. I thought, great, I'm not going to hear from this company for several weeks and I need to get this tree treated. But, The owner Josh sent me an email and called me the next day and we talked about what needed done and he explained that with the hot weather it wasn't good to treat the tree when it had been that hot. He said he could put me down for mid to late September when they started back up with the treatments. I got a call from the girl who was coming out to treat the tree a couple days before she came out to make sure that it was OK. When she arrived she talked to my wife and then talked to me on the phone. As far as I know they were fast with the treatment and left the invoice for me to pay. The customer service from this company was outstanding. I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors. Even if their price had been high, I would have used them based on the service I got prior to scheduling the treatment.

There is some sort of mite that borer's into ash tree's. This one paticular tree provides a lot of shade for us. They came out and sprayed the tree. They were responsive, prompt, courteous and did what they said they were going to do.

They call back right away. They did a follow-up call before the service to make sure we were still on. We planned it two weeks in advance. They did the maintenance, and then I got a phone call after that. It said that the service had been done and so forth. I was very impressed with them.

Purchased the services via The Big Deal. I was traveling at the time, and he was somewhat impatient that I was difficult to reach. But once we finally scheduled the appointment, the services were done as described.

They seemed to be professional and responded in a timely manner. They provided a professional quote and they made sure we had a thorough understanding of what was going on. It was a good experience. It is hard to judge quality when we didn’t know what they were doing. It is a treatment that has to be done every year for ten years. I found them to be a bit more expensive than competitive companies but they convinced me through their knowledge of what they were doing that was the way to go. We have no choice but to use them because we have to have the treatment done often.

I might use them. They came while I was at work and evaluated the work that needed to be done. We then talked on the phone.

He may have charged us a discounted rate as we had so many trees treated together. He is educated on the treatment of trees. He is responsive. He is responsible. They did a good job. They were friendly. I would use their services in the future.
