IndyAsh: Emerald Ash Borer Treatment Solutions

My call to this company was taken by an answering machine. I left a message with some details regarding the type of tree work I was in need of and a request for an estimate. I left my home and cell phone numbers for contact information. My call was never returned

They were excellent. They did work worth the money. They accomplished more than what I expected. I rate then A+ for everything.

It was a big job. Everything went very well. I thought that they were the rock stars of tree trimmers. I spent about $4800. I thought that the price was a little high but they did a really good job. I will use this company again in the future.

I thought they were excellent. They called me back when I called to make an appointment, they called back and were very courteous. They came out in a timely manner to give me an estimate. They told me a lot about the trees, and king of educated me on the treatment for the ash-borer. They were very informative, and were very nice. I would continue to use them if the work was needed.

They are fantastic and really clean cut guys. They are also really efficient and clean up after the work is completed. They are very reasonably priced.

An individual from the company came out and provided a preliminary general quote for emerald ash borer treatment for 4 trees, tree fertilization for such trees and several other trees, and medium pruning to about 7 trees. A couple of the trees that were pruned were big oak trees. Josh and his team arrived on time. Josh walked my yard with me and refined the pricing to reflect precisely the work that he recommended. Josh was very fair in his thoughts about the work that he recommended and what it would cost. We agreed on the price and he and his team (about 4 others) worked continously from around 10:15am until around 4:30pm. They did the work that was agreed upon, cleaned up the yard, and acted in a professional manner. I would use Simple Man's Tree Service again and would recommend it to others.

Everything went very well. They were very professional and cleaned up very well. They did an excellent job of trimming.

They were great. They were prompt and cheap. They did what they said they would do. We would use them again in future.

Actual work on trees was excellent. Initial communications to request services were disjointed: It was necessary at two points in the process to call to ask why we were waiting, but, when we called the company followed up promptly.

Josh came out promptly and gave me a very competitive estimate on the job. They removed the large oak with no problems. They came by when scheduled; worked hard all day and got the job done exactly on budget with no hidden costs. All the wood was removed promptly. I would recommend Simple Man's Tree Service for any tree work.

They were very responsive and punctual. They were professional and very concerned that I liked the work that was done. He was concerned about not hurting the tree. I would recommend them to others.

I was not at home when the work was done, but when I came home that evening I was very pleased with the work. Lawn mowing will be much easier this season now that we don't have to duck and weave around tree limbs and branches.

Mr. Taflinger was prompt to answer my call for estimate as well to perform the work. He came with his crew days before the day scheduled to check on the work to be done. Although the bad weather, he took the first chance of safe performance to confirm his coming. After that, they came back on date and time scheduled and did an excelent job, leaving no mess to be cleaned. I recommend this contractor.

Joshua Taflinger and his crew were excellent to work with. Joshua outlined the work to be done to me and to the crew clearly. Crew checked with me before finishing, and responded to my requests(e.g. raise the canopy a bit more, trim back from fence more). They will be my first call next time.

Joshua was excellent to work with from start to finish. They even came back out and trimmed an extra branch from our house when we requested it. I would use them again, definitely.

From the first call to the completion of the job, all communication was efficient as was the work.

They did quite a bit of work. They trimmed trees, moved debri, and treated the trees. It went very great. Their's was the best of three quotes. The owner came out himself. The quote was exactly what I was charged. He came over a couple weeks later while he was working for my neighbor and picked up a bunch of debri after a storm and took them for me.

They arrived on time, went about their business, worked until the job was completed, and were very friendly and courteous.

The price was great! They cleaned up extremely well. They got the job done in a timely manner. It was a good experience. I would use them again in the future and have already recommended them to others.

From start to finish, we had an overall very good experience. Joshua (the owner) came out to give a free estimate. His prices were, at the "bottom line", the best of all the estimates we had received. He seemed knowledgeable, was very pleasant and courteous. He also gives a generous discount to Angie's members! He was honest concerning fertilizing a couple of weak Spruce trees. He had offered to provide the service and quoted a price, but when asked if this could be done ourselves by purchasing a similar product in a hardware store he answered that that would probably accomplish the same thing. He also advised us of exactly which form of the product to use and how to use it to best help our trees. His honesty and assistance in that matter will save us a considerable amount of money. The man with whom he contracts to perform stump grinding (after a tree has been cut down) was also very pleasant, professional, courteous, and competent, as were all of the members of his crew who came out to do the work. They came on the day and promptly at the time we had agreed upon and finished the work in a thorough and timely manner. Joshua followed up later about the work and we are very satisfied with the quality of the work as well as the manner in which it was conducted.

Dead wood had accumulated in trees for years. This was not storm damage.

The experience was very good. They had good pricing and they came out right away. They also cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely hire them again in the future.

Joshua and his crew were able to bring both trees down without any problem. One tree could fall across the street, but my neighbors were parked in the way of the other tree and they were not home. Joshua was able to guide the enormous tree into my neighbor's yard and split two closely planted yuccas. Nothing was harmed. The work was fast, efficient and incredible to watch. This was all done in a couple of hours on the fourth of July. The clean-up was done so well that you couldn't see sawdust in the yard. Fantastic job! I would/will hire him again for any work I need done in the future. All communication was professional and prompt. Great service!
