Called Thurs. morning, having guests on Sun. Spoke with Julie. She was extremely helpful, courteous, said she would try to reach the service person and call me back, maybe he could make it today. She called back in 10 minutes and said Darren was on his way and would be here within the hour. So, within an hour I called a place I had never used before for service and they were here to take care of the problem. Darren couldn't have been nicer, got the pilot light turned on and also installed a new valve and showed me how to use it. Happy I don't have to use the wrench anymore. He even looked at another wood burning fireplace to make sure it was safe to use. I'll be able to use the fireplace when my guests are here. This was a great start to my day, had my doubts about this happening, but Indy Gas Works came through.

They missed an appointment time but rescheduled, making some concessions. They were easy to work with and were efficient at getting the job done. I have already recommended them to a friend. They worked with Sullivan's Hardware where the logs are displayed and sold from, and the partnership worked well. We had a seamless transaction purchasing the logs and having IGW pick up the logs and install them.

Job went very well. Installers worked quickly and got job done.

They gave me a discount for mentioning Angie's List to him. He also corrected the installation of my logs so that they would burn correctly. I highly recommend them, they were just wonderful.

He was awesome. Very patient with me and my zero knowledge base of vented gas fireplaces. We have three different set-ups in my house and he walked me through how to get them going each year and gave me some good tips for cost efficient use. Definitely went above what was required of him. Also a very pleasant man with an interesting history.

While he is very likable, he did not seem too interested in doing this type of job and so this year we called someone else, who actually did a much better job, cleaning things that I did not know could be cleaned.

There was some confusion on how to install the kit and they had to come out twice. My issue is that I was given a verbal estimate of $95 and actually charged $125. I feel like they made me pay for 2 trips when if they had read the instructions clearly they could have completed the job on one trip. Other than that they were prompt, did the work while I was at work, cleaned up after them self and generally were professional.

Response to email was very quick and pleasant. Estimate was given over the phone of $99.00. Arrangements were made to have the serviceman arrive after 2pm. When I arrived at 2pm the work had already been done and the serviceman was gone (I had another company doing work that same day who had a key to the back gate. Work was done right which is what I needed. I would use them again as their responsiveness and attitude were better than any others I found on the list.

They called before they came. There was one time they were going to come out but was not able to and called to let me know so I could go on with my day.

They came out to get my gas logs pilot light lit. I couldn't get it going this year. They cleaned the burners and inspected the gas log setup. They were able to get the pilot lit, as well as they noticed I was missing the one middle gas log due to breakage, so they have ordered me a new one. They were very nice and friendly and polite. Also were quite prompt and efficient. Would definitely use them again. They showed up right on time, and the price was certainly very reasonable.

Darren was very personable and didn't mind answering my questions. He knew everything about my fireplace and really put my mind at ease about using it. However, when I first tried to call the company, the number wouldn't go through. However, I dialed 1-317- and then their number and it went through. Don't know why that happened, but if I dialed their 7-digit phone number direct from my phone (which has a 669 prefix), it wouldn't go through.

Indy Gas Works did an excellent job installing the gas line and post-mount gas grill. They were timely, professional, and customer-serviced focus. Highly recommend!

We have a 10-yr old Holland Grill which quit heating late last fall. We found Indy Gas Works on the list and contacted them for a service call. The appt was May 8; they called the day before to confirm. Daren and a helper arrived within the estimated timeframe. They serviced and cleaned our grill; they found the air mixer had to be adjusted (which was probably the reason it quit heating up last fall). The entire service call took less than an hour, and the grill is in good working order now. Both gentlemen were very pleasant; no mess was left after they finished their work. Daren asked whether we had a gas fireplace or not; we do not so he did explain that they also install gas lines if we're interested. (We're not at this time, but we'd call Indy Gas Works if we decide to do this in the future.) A very nice experience; and the grill works too!

Work was accomplished as requested, very clean and neat, and the finished product looks great. Julie returned calls promptly during the bidding process. The cost was in line with other companies I contacted. we are very happy with the product.

I contacted Indy Gas Works Corp. via e-mail to find out whether they could install the blower for us. Julie Rogers and I exchanged a couple of emails, and we made an appointment. A week later Darren came out to our home after calling in advance to let me know when he would arrive. Upon entering our home, he immediately covered his shoes and had a blanket with him, which he put down in front of the fireplace. After looking everything over he went out to get his tool box, taking his paper shoes off before going out and putting them on as soon as he came back in. He spent several hours installing the blower, and much to our chagrin found out that the outlet in the fireplace was not wired. We gave us some suggestions what we could do if we wanted to get it wired. Shortly after he left there was a pop and a spark, and the blower went dead. I called right away on Monday morning and Darren came out on Friday and had to remove the blower. We were not charged for the return trip.

Fantastic! This company's customer service is superb! Phone calls were always returned, quotes were delivered as promised and the work done was just what we wanted. Excellent job and we love the logs! We highly recommend these folks.
