Went to their location in Geist. Had a large selection of different types of stone. They were very helpful calculating how much stone we needed. The price was very reasonable and they delivered the stone on the day they said they would.

Indiana Mulch & Stone has two locations. I purchased my gravel and sand for my patio from the downtown location, but only after visiting the east side location and speaking to the manager, Tim Coady who recommended the types of products I would need to complete my patio installation. Tim is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and personable. Both staff's at both locations were very helpful while all soil and mulch products are competitively priced with a good selection. Delivery is rather expensive, but they always deliver on-time and when they say they will. I am very pleased with their reliability, variety of products and two easy to access locations.

Company failed to inform me that the delivery would be dumped on my driveway, with the pallets which proceeded to break and tear open the plastic bags of mulch, leaving wood scraps, nails and mulch blocking the entrance to my garage. The manager did return a call to me the next day and left a message. I would not recommend this company, for the same money and less delivery fee you can get the same product someplace else. There is no need to pay for delivery of bags on pallets if they will just get dumped anyway.

THE PERSON AT THEIR SOUTH SIDE LOCATION WAS VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE. SHE SUGGESTED SEVERAL PRODUCTS AND GAVE ME SOME TIPS ON SAVING ON DELIVERY CHARGES. THEY WERE ALSO ABLE TO DELIVER TWO ITEMS ON THE SAME LOAD. THEY DID PROMISE ONE DATE AND RAN OUT OF MATERIAL, SO I HAD TO WAIT 2 BUSINESS DAYS. THEY DID CALL ME TO LET ME KNOW THAT THEY WOULD NOT MAKE THE DELIVERY. I GUESS THEIR INVENTORY SYSTEM IS NOT PERFECT...

A VERY GOOD, NO FRILLS BUSINESS. THEY SELL LOTS OF MULCH TO THE LANDSCAPE COMPANIES, SO I WAS PRETTY SMALL POTATOES.

A VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL COMPANY. THEY ADVISED ME ON HOW BEST TO SPREAD STRAW, AND LOADED IT IN MY VAN. PRICE FOR THE STRAW WAS VERY REASONABLE, AND THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT WAS HIGH.

QUALITY OF THE MULCH WAS EXTREMELY GOOD. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. DELIVERY MADE SAME DAY! WEB SITE VERY INFORMATIVE. WE WILL DO BUSINESS AGAIN.

THE VERY BEST MULCH AT THE MOST REASONABLE PRICES AROUND. I'M ALWAYS HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF MULCH FROM THIS COMPANY - PARTICULARLY THE PAUCITY OF WEEDS IN THE PRODUCT. WILL RETURN EVERY YEAR FOR NEW MULCH.

THEY DUMPED IT RIGHT ON THE TARP THAT WE SET OUT ON THE DRIVEWAY AND WE SPREAD IT OURSELVES. THE PEOPLE I DEALT WERE VERY HELPFUL.

I CALLED TO ORDER THE MULCH ON A THURSDAY AND IT WAS DELIVERED ON FRIDAY MORNING. I THOUGHT BOTH THE SERVICE AND THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT WERE OUTSTANDING.

THERE WAS SOME CONFUSION REGARDING PAYMENT. SINCE TWO ADDRESSES WERE LISTED ON THE BILL, PAYMENT WAS MAILED TO THE NEAREST ADDRESS. RECEIVED SEVERAL PHONE CALLS FROM THE COMPANY TO RE-SEND PAYMENT TO OTHER ADDRESS. THE CONFUSION COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF ONLY ONE ADDRESS WAS LISTED ON BILL.

IVE USED SEVERAL MULCH COMPANIES OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS. INDIANA MULCH SAYS THEIR HARDWOOD MULCH IS MADE FROM BARK ONLY, RATHER THAN SHREDDED WOOD AND BARK. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCT AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE ON TIME OR EARLY. THEY DELIVERED A LITTLE MORE THAN WHAT WE CONTRACTED FOR. THE QUALITY WAS BETTER THAN WHAT I EXPECTED. EVEN THOUGH I THINK THEY WERE OVERWHELMED WITH ORDERS, THEY WENT TO INCREDIBLE LENGTHS TO DO A GOOD JOB. THIS WAS DURING THE VERY HEAVY RAINS AT THE BEGINNING OF MAY. THEY WERE HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE PRODUCTS OUT OF THE PITS BECAUSE OF ALL OF THE MOISTURE. THE CHARGE IS PARTLY BY WEIGHT AND BULK. THEY REALLY TRIED TO DO THEIR BEST BY NOT OVERCHARGING ON THE PRODUCT. I THINK THEY GAVE THE LITTLE EXTRA AMOUNT JUST TO BE SURE THEY WERE FAIR AND HONEST.

THEY PROMISED AN EARLY DELIVERY, BUT NOTHING ARRIVED UNTIL LATE IN THE EVENING. WHEN I CALLED, I RECEIVED A SERIES OF EXCUSES AS THE DAY WORE ON. WE HAD PAID SOMEONE TO BE ON HAND TO HELP SPREAD MULCH, BUT HE WAS NO LONGER AVAILABLE BY THE TIME WE RECEIVED THE PRODUCT. I WAS VERY UNHAPPY.
