They had an on-line ordering system which was easy to use. I ordered mulch and they delivered it on time. They dumped the mulch where I asked them to put it. Everything went well.

They delivered the six yards of mulch on the day specified. They were by the far the best price I found and they had a great online deal.

I am very unhappy with the service provided to me today by Indiana Mulch and Stone. They failed to complete a delivery as contracted and this will cost me time and labor. Although I was a repeat customer, I will not use this company in the future. Yesterday I ordered mulch to be delivered to my home. I mentioned that our driveway can only accommodate a truck of 24 feet max length. The person I spoke to said this was not a problem. (In fact, this company has delivered bigger quantities of mulch to my home several times in the past without problem). I also asked that the driver let us know when he arrived so we could show him where to dump. We got a call this morning that the delivery was on its way. An hour and a half later, having not seen or heard from the driver, I called to the business. About a half an hour later I got a call back saying the delivery had been made. When I looked around the property, I found the mulch had been dumped by the entrance to my driveway, which will require moving it with a wheelbarrow at a significant cost of time and labor. The driver made no effort to contact me by phone or ring the bell, which was acknowledged by the person I spoke with on the phone. The company did refund the delivery fee, but I am still left with a major job to move all the mulch. In the past they have had no problem getting their trucks up my driveway. This driver did not want to be bothered and so he just dumped where he wanted. This is unprofessional and unacceptable.

Will purchase from them again in the future. All associates and delivery man were very helpful and friendly

I was looking on Angies List for someone that had pine needle mulch and Indiana Mulch was one that had it available for delivery. We needed mulch and didn't want a big pile that would take us along time to spread. They had bags for delivery. I was able to order everything online. They called the next day and confirmed. It was delivered when we wanted and in the place we wanted. Very easy to order and made our job very easy. We will definitely visit their website next time we need anything.

My complaint is that delivery was very slow. I requested delivery in the morning which they said they could not promise but would try to accommodate. I called shortly after Noon on the day of delivery and was given the cell phone number of the driver who's said he be here between 1:00 and 2:00PM. My landscaping crew was waiting. The driver showed up at 4:45PM forcing the landscape crew to be here until 9:00PM. No excuse or apology was given. In the future, I hope they work harder on giving realistic estimates for delivery so that others can plan their activities accordingly. The alternative is to leave a large pile of mulch on the street blocking access for a day or more.

It went fine. They dumped when they said they would and where they said they would.

I called Indiana mulch and stone to order several bags of topsoil and sand along with 1 ton of bulk soil for a huge planter. They took our order and address for the delivery. The day of the delivery the truck arrived a few minutes late because the woman in the office wrote the address so sloppy that the driver could not make it out clearly and almost dropped it on a neighbors driveway. Other than that all went well and their delivery driver dumped the bulk soil exactly where we asked him to put it. We found their prices reasonable and the quality of the soil for the planter was very good.

I was building a retaining wall and needed stone for a base AND for proper drainage behind the wall. I asked Indiana Mulch what type of rock I should use, they repeatedly told me #53. I asked several types and many people at Indiana Mulch and Stone. I used this for the base of my retaining wall and for the 1 foot behind the wall to provide proper drainage. However, the stone had so much dust that upon water, this turned into a concrete-like product. Therefore, a concrete like product does not drain well. Water runs right along the top of the concrete-like packed stone and stands there, eventually draining into the grass/sod pooling into a soggy mess. This company obviously misinformed me which type of gravel for drainage to use, or their product was not of good quality, or they delivered the wrong stone. I was extremely disappointed, my retaining wall fails to drain. I did tell the company about the dust problem and that it seemed to turn to concrete, and they said that perhaps my stone was the last on the truck and therefore had a lot of dust in it, sorry. Well, that doesn't help my retaining wall, my plants, my soggy lawn, etc......

They were very courteous, the price was reasonable, the product was great, and they did exactly what they said they would.

Any and all dealings with the south side Indiana Mulch Company have made me a continued customer of them. Their prices are competitive and the service wonderful.

I have used them for a couple of years. It's just simple transactions, you go in, you tell what you want, you pick it up. The staff is friendly.

They were the only company that provided bulk peat mulch. They just delivered it and I applied it. The peat mulch contained a lot of weeds in it.

I needed topsoil delivered. All the companies I called charged about the same for the topsoil, but this company had the best delivery fee so I went with them (delivery is almost as much as the dirt!). They called me in the morning before coming and showed up about 30 minutes later with the dirt. They dumped it exactly where I asked them to put it. It was relatively clod free so we were able to spread it pretty easily.

It went very well. I was a little concerned about the quality of their product versus what I had purchased from another company in the past. But, the quality of the mulch was real good and the quantity, even though I purchased the same quantity this year as last year, it seemed like there was a lot more mulch this year.

I was tired of mulch and the upkeep, so began looking into landscaping rock. I searched the list and found Indiana Mulch and Stone. I stopped by their northeast side site and obtained samples for my wife to select from. Once we decided, I placed an order online (saving 5%) for delivery 2 days later. I provided instructions on where on the driveway to drop off the rock. I received a call later that day from their office, merely to confirm the order and clarify any questions/instructions. I arrived home on the scheduled day and the rock was exactly where requested, so as to not block the sidewalk in front of the house, and back far enough to allow us to park cars in front of the rock and not on the street. The quantity ordered was correct, and once the rock was put down, the quality is excellent and changed the look of our home. I intentionally did not order as much as I needed as I had a short time to put down the original order. I will be placing an order for the remainder to finish the job in a few days.

They came the very next day, they were very prompt, and they were perfect. They came out 2 weeks a go. It was $30 a yard. The delivery fee was a little steep. It was $50 for delivery. They delivered it in my driveway, exactly where I wanted them too and it was exactly the kind of mulch I wanted. I did not have a personal way to transport it. I would definitely use them again.

Delivery was on time. Driver called in advance to let us know when he would be there. They squeezed us into their schedule last minute. Will order mulch from them next!

.overall it went well. i called the company and told them what i was needing. they were very helpful. the day of delivery the truck driver called to say he was at our drive he also was helpful.

I had somebody else lay the mulch, but used this company to deliver it. It was a great service. They delivered it on time and were very courteous.

We have used another highly rated Angie's List garden supply store several times in the past for mulch and have been very satisfied with thier product for the price we paid. I checked the price online for top soil and it didn't seem unreasonable to me until we got to the delivery charge. I was ordering 8 cubic yards of topsoil and 20 lbs of grass. Both of these item came to about $282.00. Then came the shocker they wanted $143.00 to deliver the topsoil and grass seed. Adding another 50% to cost seemed a little much to me. I then checked around and found Indiana Mulch listed on Angie's List. The topsoil and grass seed were about the same price but the delivery charge was only $40.00.I placed the order online at 4:55pm on 8/15/12 and scheduled the delivery for the next day. I really didn't think that they would be able to deliver with such short notice. I received a call the next morning at about 8:30 am saying they would be delivering that day. I asked for a 15-20 min. heads up so that i could be there to direct where the topsoil was dumped. At 10:30 am i received the phone call.I will definitely be using Indiana Mulch in the future.

They were prompt in their delivery. I ordered it on a Tuesday afternoon and they came the next day. Their prices were pretty good. I would use them again.
