Description of Work: Blocked floor joist and sealed to prevent air flow from attic. Insulate and air sealed ceiling over garage with cellulose insulation. Everything went well and we were happy with their service and work.

Description of Work: I really appreciated Steve (the owner) working with me on the price and scope of the work. He spent A LOT of time on the door blower test and in the attic, to analyze what needed to happen. We had to pare the initial estimate down quite a bit (decided to wait on a new furnace since mine is adequate) because I just bought this 10-year old condo; and it needs a lot of work (appliances, water heater/conditioner, counter tops, carpet, etc.) So for now, we went with some new attic insulation for bare areas, a humidifier with an outdoor sensor, a Honeywell programmable thermostat, and a media air cleaner/filter. | |Another company had proposed a variable speed blower furnace to more adequately heat all 3 levels of the condo and that made sense; but since this one is working fine and in good order, I decided to wait on that phase. The work took about 5-1/2 hours and I felt a lot better about everything once they were there and I saw the work were they putting into the job. | |Dustin and Brad (?) were great: pleasant, professional, and seemed trustworthy. | |I had some trouble figuring out the programmable thermostat afterwards (didn't call them back; figured we could find a Youtube video or something.) It seems to be working okay now. It's hard to say about the insulation because the outside temps are pretty nice now that it's spring; but hopefully, we'll see a difference in the summer/winter: it was freezing cold (3rd floor of condo - bedrooms) before.

Description of Work: We had them spray foam the rim joist and crawl space wall under our house. The installers were on time, pleasant to work with, and completed the job within a few hours. We were really impressed with the technician who came out to initially quote the work. He was extremely thorough and gave an honest assessment of where it made the most sense to spend our money. He really took the time to discuss our options.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for $89 for a Comprehensive Home Energy Performance Assessment.

Description of Work: Cleaning of all vents/ducts, including clothes dryer. Air infiltration test (blower door), FLIR (infrared viewer) of all walls and ducts, cost breakdown for all recommended services to improve home tightness. Contractor discovered a large (9"x12") animal-chewed hole in a fiberboard vent, which I repaired myself. The entire visit took 3-4 hours. It was entirely satisfactory and low pressure. Great outfit.

Description of Work: They did a house energy evaluation. They tested duct work leaks, outdoor air infiltration, checked insulation in attic, checked static pressure on furnace, used an infrared laser to check walls for insulation issues, and checked vents throughout house and attic. After these tests, they gave us suggestions of ways to improve some inadequacies and gave us printouts on our house's good and bad points. They offered follow up services for an additional fee.

This group did a great job. |The house efficiency review I would rate a C. |The person doing this, at the conclusion of spending 2 hours of going over our house, just zeroed in on trying to sell a deal to seal the vent piping in the house and very little else.

Description of Work: I recently moved to Pittsboro, Indiana, and decided to have the 18 year-old furnace and air conditioner replaced before they completely died. I decided to have Lindley Heating & Cooling do it because they had been servicing the old ones for many years. The price also included installation of a filter box making changing the filter much easier and sealing of all of the ducts to make sure there were no air leaks. Also, the filter is supposed to last for a year. They were very professional, courteous and neat about their work. After the job was completed, they had cleaned up everything and there was no sign they were there other than I had a new furnace and air conditioner. I would highly recommend this company.
