Description of Work: Had problems with my AC in the morning. Called Hughes Heating and Cooling to come out. They were at my place within an hour and replaced the capacitor. I was happy to have the issue resolved and Christian explained things well.

Everything went just great.
Description of Work: This company put in my furnace and air conditioner about 3 years ago and did a very good job and has been taking care of them every 6 months since. They are very Responsible and take care of what ever my furnace or Air needs. They are very thoughtful about putting on covers on the shoes to keep my rugs clean and instructing me in things I do not understand. I think they are very good company to deal with.

Description of Work: They perform our furnace tune ups each year. They do a good job and are punctual and on time. It is just hard to get a hold of them occasionally. They have also installed a gas furnace at our rental property at a significantely lower price than competitors.

One of our top priorities is to respond to all of our customer requests as fast as possible. The member and her husband have been valued customers for many years. We also do work for her parents on a regular basis. Although, the member's report is mostly favorable, there are some points made by her that are unfair and untrue. This report references work that we completed on 10-21-10 at her rental property on Beasley. She states that she paid $75 when in fact we did not charge for this work. We agreed to allow a tune-up for her primary home to be used at her rental property. Most companies do not allow this. But we are flexible and know that she is a good customer and therefore we did not have a problem doing this switch. As soon as her call came in for service we immediately began behind the scenes to slot it for the schedule which was a few days out at that time for routine tune-ups. Had it been an emergency no-heat situation, the call would have been elevated to the highest priority. We do not let our customers go without heat. But the member's request was not an emergency situation. Also, since the work request was for a rental property, and not her primary residence, there was an additional coordination effort required to allow us to gain access to the property to complete the work. When we have done work in the past at her rental property, we did the extra work of coordinating with the tenant on a convenient time to complete the work. In some instances, a key was left for us in the mailbox and we were able to do the work promptly without having to inconvenience the tenant or the members. It is disappointing to see that the member has reported that she will not hire us again after the long customer-contractor relationship that we have had. I hope she will reconsider. We work hard every day to exceed the expectations and needs of our customers while saving them money. All we can do is our best and almost all of the time we do reach that goal of saving our customers their hard earned money while at the same time providing the best service and workmanship. We've been doing it for over 32 years!
