Description of Work: I had my 2007 Honda ridgeline RTL in for maintenance, and services was better than expected, I and family and friends will definitely be going to Hopkins.

Description of Work: It is refreshing to have someone be honest with you and understand that you can't fix everything that is wrong. They are always nice and helpful.

Description of Work: We have used Hopkins Automotive a number of times over the last 10 years or so. We have never been disappointed. I have a 2000 Acura RL and, honestly, I have always taken it to the dealer for the bulk of maintenance performed. However, I am finding it more difficult to spend the extra $ for OEM parts in many cases, since I don't think I'll have the vehicle long enough to recoup those costs! In those cases, I always turned to Hopkins, and will continue to do so. We've also had work done on other vehicles there, as well. We've recommended Hopkins to friends and those who have used them have told us they were pleased with the service. It can be difficult at times to get an appointment exactly when you want it, and they don't have loaner vehicles ;), but as stated before, they will continue to have my business!

Description of Work: I had two brake lights out and they replaced them and didn't charge me a thing. I have been using Jeff for years for my car and my daughter's car. Hopkins is THE BEST! You can trust them and know it is done right. Years ago I owned a Porsche and the AC went out. The first estimate was $800 then they did some research and found they could do with a rebuilt compressor for $400. In the end, they found out the Porsche compressor could be taken apart (which is unusual) and they could fixe the tiny piece that was broken. Final bill was just over $100. They could have done the work for the original price but he kept looking for a way to get the cost down for me. How rare in a mechanic! Just use them!

Description of Work: I was backing out of my garage on a Monday morning and saw a small leak. At work and home the next day, I didn't see anything. On Wednesday morning, there was a much larger leak. I have used Hopkins before so stopped past on my way to work to see if he could at least find out what the the leak was. Jeff did and showed me an adapter was leaking coolant. He said I should get it fixed soon, but wasn't real bad. I called him at work that afternoon and Jeff was able to get me in the next day. I just didn't want to be driving around with a coolant leak. I dropped off the car, Jeff called me when it was finished and picked it up that afternoon. As I said, have used Hopkins before and they were very professsional again.

Description of Work: Called to see if we could bring car in for check. He said yes but didn't know if he could fix today.Dropped car off at 12:00 and he called around 3:30, car was fixed. Did an excellent job and very reasonable.

Description of Work: Jeff Hopkins and his employees are top notch from A to Z. As a fellow Angie's List Super Service Award winner, my expectations are very high - and Jeff never disappoints. The work is stellar, he tells the truth, he gives you his advice (even over the phone) and never recommends you fix something that doesn't need to be fixed. Jeff changes the oil in our fleet of vehicles. He also does all the work needed outside of any warranty issue. He also has checked vehicles before we purchased them and often provides advice on issues over the phone without even being paid a dime. He knows my name and my family. His business is what every business should strive to be like! And, he stands behind each and every repair they do! I do not know why anyone would use another service place. We have been using him for over 7 years and hope he never decides to retire :-)!
