Extremely responsive, professional and punctual. As a professional property manager, there are several "hoops" that all vendors have to jump through...calling the tenants, checking with me before doing work so I can get owner's approval, etc. Hope plumbing, Nick to be exact, was amazing at all of this! They did a wonderful job of trying to save the owner money and were great with their communication. I will undoubtedly call them again the next time I need a plumber...you should do the same.

The work went well and I enjoyed working with the plumber. He was friendly and worked quickly and efficiently.

Called Hope after selecting them from Angies List, answered several questions regarding what size Water Heater, how old, what problems I was experiencing, etc., Hope arrived on time, reviewed the Old Water Heater and determined it was in fact leaking. They had brought a 50 Gal Heater which I requested to replace the 40 Gal Heater. Hope determined that new Heater was too large to accommodate the space and returned within 30-45 Min with a 40 Gal Heater and installed it.

They were very professional. They did exactly what I wanted them to do. I did not have any problems with them. I would use their services in the future too.

It has been very poor service. The knob was installed crookedly. They blamed that on a burr and that my house was old. The entire faucet is now askew. . Dealing with him was very difficult. I had to keep following up. They keep saying it is fixed, but I am still having problems. I am in the process of selling the house, and people keep mentioning it to me. The part was supposed to be in three days, but it was the following week and he never called me to say that the part was in. They were not very responsive. I am still having the problem, yet now they refused to come back out. I have asked them to come back out and he refused to saying he has been out there enough.

I was thoroughly impressed with how great Jack is! It was like inviting a trusted neighbor into my home do the work. He is a great conversationalist, a very polite guy, but most importantly to the other members seeing this -- he knows what he's doing. He identified the problem quickly and had it fixed within a very short time of being there. I would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation!

Overall this worked perfectly. Plumber called ahead and came promptly. He checked to see what needed to be done and did it thoroughly and rapidly without fuss or bother. Then he cleaned up his work area.

They showed up on time, did the inspection and then cleaned/unclogged a faucet in the master bath that hadnt been working for no extra charge.

Our basement sewage sump failed on a Sunday. We joined Angie's list then because we did not know of a good plumber. My husband spoke to Jack Hope. Although they did not reach us on Monday due to an incorrect telephone number, we were still on their list when we called later in the afternoon. Nick came and replaced the sump. It was a hard, messy, job done in a confined space due to the fact the sump is located in a small storage closet. Nick was professional, informative, and timely. We will call HOPE Plumbing next time we have a plumbing need.

Hope Plumbing Very helpful, prompt. We haven't totally solved the problem yet. But, they are willing to work with us.

They did an excellent job. It cost me about $1200 for their service. Jack Hope seemed very interested in making sure that the job was done right and making sure that I was happy with it. He really did bend over backwards and fit my schedule. He did the work in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves. He genuinely seemed to take an interest. His price was competitive with everyone else. I would use his services in the future too.

I called Hope Plumbing after locating them on Angies List. Paul was very helpful and was able to give me a quote over the phone. He said they could have someone come out as early as 8:00 am in the morning, which is way to early for me! So I told him (jokingly) to have the plumber come at 9:00 am and bring coffee! Ha - Well Tim showed up with coffee in hand. Tim was very nice and was able to repair our faucet in an hour. I am very impressed and highly recommend them. I will be calling Paul when we are ready to remodel our kitchen. Thanks Paul and Tim.

used Hope Plumbing as an Angie's Deal, and they were superb. Excellent communication-got back to me within the day at all times, never had to track them down. Scheduled the work on what worked for me, and did the job quickly and quietly. Really good provider.

Brad arrived on time, was friendly, clean cut and very polite and went right to work on repairing our leaking bathtub valves. The work was completed satisfactorily and we wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

Jack Hope saved us! I woke up early on the Sunday morning of my son's graduation open house with a million things to do. I went to the basement to throw in a quick load of laundry. To my dismay, I found water flowing from the top of our water heater. And of course, we had no hot water. In a panic, I checked the list and found Hope Plumbing. Jack Hope was at our house within an hour after my 9 am Sunday morning call. He diagnosed the problem quickly and gave us the bad news-- our water heater was shot. The 6-year warranty had expired about 10 weeks prior. Believe it or not, Jack had a new water heater installed within a couple of hours, and we had hot water by around 1:15. Not a moment too soon, with our guests arriving at 3:00! Throughout the day, Jack was as pleasant and helpful as could be, and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised to have our new 40 gallon water heater installed (and old one removed) on a Sunday for around $950. We were so grateful to Jack, and give him the highest possible recommendation

The owner told me that he was overwhelmed and I told him that was fine because I did not need him till June. Then I called him the third week of May, last week of May, and first week of June. I got his answering service the first two times and the third time I left a message on his voicemail. I finally received a phone call back and we set up an appointment for June 8th at 4:00 PM. He never showed up for this appointment or called.

Fantastic work. The price was fair and the work excellent.

I got 3 separatel estimates for several projects I had. Their prices were similar to other estimates. I felt they were very professional, prompt, and completed my projects quickly. The work seems to be well done. I appreciate the warranty for their work. I also appreciate that they specialize in older homes.

This is an older home and fixtures are also old, but Dave had the part and was able to fix it in a timely fashion. I will definitely call them again. Excellent service.

They were knowledgeable. They were supposed to come back out and fix some things, but they still haven't done that. They have also not returned my calls.

Did an excellent job from start to finish! Professional, efficient, respectful & a very nice guy, too. I was very comfortable having him work in my home -- I didn't feel like I had to hang around to watch over him. I was expecting to pay much more or have to rip out the liner in the shower stall to complete the repair. I won't hesitate to call this company for future projects around 'this ol' house.'

I live in an older home (1920's) with the plumbing quirks that come with a house built in that era so I'm picky about plumbers. I have a large maple tree in my front yard, so I usually have to get my main line cleaned out every couple of years. I've used another company with a very good reputation for many years, but wasn't plesed to find out that they were recently purchased by a much larger company. So I did my research on Angie's List, and ended up calling Hope Plumbing because they are family-owned, have excellent reviews, AND specifically specialize in older homes. This time, my line was completely backed up. I was so pleased with the customer service and the quality of the work performed. One family member scheduled me; then two others came initially the evening before to check the access to my clean out. The following morning, the two plumbers came with a board just the right length to make sure my basement stairs (also old) were supported enouh to get the machine down them. They worked for an hour and got my line opened up completely - an old metal cap had fallen into the line evidently and caused the initial blockage. Price was fair, and work was excellent and professional. The only slightly less than positive part of the experience was getting them to my house on time. I think they may have more work than they can manage at the moment. As far as I'm concerned, however, their quality of work was more than balanced by their deficiency in punctuality. They were careful, professional, and knowledgeable. I'll definitely call them next time.

I called the company to have someone come to the house to give me an estimate on a project that needed done. The job would'v been between $3,000 to $5,000 so definitely not a small job. The person that answered the phone was very professional and connected me with a gentleman to actually set the schedule. He was also very professional and we settled on Thursday April 28, 2011 between the hours of 3 and 6 pm. They didn't show up and didn't call.

The outdoor hosebib replacement went well. For the water heater he recommended that it wasn't necessary to drain it and it probably would need replaced anyway. He did drain it, but water got all over the garage. The installed faucet also leaked right away, but they came back out and replaced with another one I purchased. I had to pay another service visit and they left some parts laying around. The guys are really nice, but I do wish they would clean up a little more after they are done working.
