They were very kind, and offered us to look for another company when they knew our issues could be solved (for cheaper) by a service they did not offer. This is the second time we've hired them, and they have been great both times! Will absolutely call them again next time.

Hope Plumbing came to give us multiple quotes for two different types of plumbing problems on our 70+ year old home. They diagnosed the problems, quoted and did some of the work the same day. Quick, efficient, respectful and braved the spidery crawl-space with a smile. We consider them our go-to plumber from now on.

I took advantage of their special offer on camera scoping of my sewer line, and boy did I learn a LOT! That is, my sewer line runs to the alley, not the street, and it has some failure and partial blockage. VERY fortunate am I to discover that BEFORE there's a serious problem! That will save me literally thousands of dollars. Otherwise, the appointment process, and both the automated notifications and the calls from the tech, are VERY convenient and helpful. I was not at all uninformed or inconvenienced at any time. The two technicians were efficient, informative, and 100% professional. I wish I'd used them for other jobs in the past, but I'm planning on using them again! BTW, they also came over in 2019 to check a leak in my main water line, and although I didn't hire them for that (wound up fixing it myself), they kindly referred me to a leak detection firm which got me on the right path. Can't thank Hope Plumbing enough.

Ryan came out to look at the problem and gave an estimate at the beginning of July. He took pictures and sent us a formal estimate by e-mail that included a full description of possible work to be done and the pictures. He was professional and pleasant. We decided that we wanted to have the work done and let the office know, expecting something in a couple weeks. We got a call from Ryan a few days later offering to move up the schedule to the coming weekend for a small discount. We could accommodate that, so we said yes and they scheduled work for the coming Saturday morning. We expected a start time in the 8-9 range, but when no one had showed up by almost 10, we called the office. They said that the person was running late. When Nate arrived, he looked at the meter and checked for a street shut-off valve. There wasn't one, so he had to go back and pick up a pipe freezer. He came back and got to work. He was also very professional and kind enough to let our 4-year-old daughter sit outside and watch him work (and answer some random questions). The job took 1-2 hours (a good part of which was waiting for the pipe to freeze) and the results looked very good after completion. We would definitely recommend them for this kind of work to anyone.

Hope...as in hope they show up. I called Hope Plumbing above all other options a few days ago because friends of mine had great things to say and they had done a wonderful event a few years ago specifically focused on women and navigating home plumbing questions. When I called I was clear that it wasn't an emergency as I knew a holiday weekend was coming up, but was assured that they could take me on Friday. What time Friday? Friday. I was told I'd need to block the entire day and would get a text 30 to 45 minutes before a plumber arrived. Also was told I would need to be there in person as it was a first visit. So after making accommodations at work so I could dash off the minute I got the text (I live 35 minutes away from work) on what is always a busy day for us and notifying three different people about a half day of PTO to take place at some point I was pushed back by Hope via text three different times. Finally just before 4 pm I got an actual phone call to let me know that they had just run out of time....would I be okay with maybe rescheduling on Tuesday? Sure...with a different plumber. Super disappointed given the fact that they specialize in older homes and I trusted them based on input from my friends...but the policy of blocking off a whole day and then kicking me to the curb for a long weekend? Nope.

I give a D rating to catch attention. Everything was great... until the quote was $300/hr in labor. Two small projects that would take a pro less then a couple hours was over $600 in labor. This is stuff I could have and have done myself or with a friend for free, but thought I'd pay someone $100/hr to do. Nope. $300/hr is the rate.

Plumbers were efficient but it appears we were significantly overcharged for both parts and labor (charged twice for labor). The invoiced pump price was about $1,400. On-line retail price is $400.

It went well; there was a little bit of a mix up in the time but when he got there is was quick and thorough.

Had to return to completely open drain but all is good

Just spent the day waiting around for Hope Plumbing to show up after scheduling them 3 days in advance. They confirmed my appointment and sent texts all day to confirm that they would be arriving by the end of the day. I called them around 1:00pm and they assured me that they would be there before 5:00pm. When I called them at 4:30pm, I was put on hold and then told that they were too busy and wouldn't be able to make it out to me today and wanted me to reschedule...no thank you. Don't take an appointment and tell me all day that you are going to be there and then just not show up. Now I have to find another plumber after wasting 4 days thinking I had someone that could handle the job.

This company was great to work with. Very fast to respond and get someone out. Wonderful with communication, kind, efficient and all around great.

They did a good job and I would hire them again.

It went great. What I love most is that they communicate extremely well. To my view they are the best plumbing company in Indianapolis.

Work was fine. Price was about double the average price.

I use them on a regular basis. We have an older home and they do an excellent job. They're very prompt, informative and do the work at a great price.

Got a service call deal for $34 and had them scheduled to come out and give an estimate to have a gas line extended to our laundry room for the dryer. The estimate ended up being much higher than we anticipated and we wanted to get a second estimate. We also asked if he could hook up our washer water supply, and he was unable to do so and recommended we re-run the pipes and valves as they were too old. We had another plumber coming out the next day from a previous work order, and asked for the estimate - it was half the price of Hope's, and he was able to attach the water connections with no problem. Felt like Hope plumber was just trying to invent work to get paid for.

Alex came out and repaired my running toilet. He did a great job and also assessed my hard water... I really need a softener, lol. Love these guys and I've already had them out to repair other issues.
