ok, but the plumber who came couldn't do the other service needed.

I hired a drain cleaning and after everything, it was $220. The plumber mentioned that it was still draining slow when he left and said I needed a vent. Less than a week later, it clogged again. I called them back and they sent a guy out who quotes me $2000 to completely redo my kitchen plumbing. When I contacted a different plumber, they charged $99 to clear drain and it has been fine since then. Hope overcharged and then tried to get me to spend thousands on services I didn't need. Though friends of mine have had good luck with them, I cannot recommend based on my experience.

The technician, Jim, was knowledgeable and thorough. He carefully went through my options (I also wanted to get a quote for toilet installation and another more complex faucet replacement) and helped me make a decision without being pressured. In the end I opted for a simple outdoor spigot replacement and he did an excellent job. The complementary plumbing inspection revealed a few issues that I would like to fix down the road. Overall, my experience was a good one and I would hire again.

The person who came to work on my house seemed more interested in talking me into more expensive services than in actually doing the job that I was paying him to do. He didn't correctly connect the fittings the first time and left water splattered across my washer & dryer, leaving me to clean it up after he left. Never again.

I was having a problem with a toilet that was associated with a re-pipe they had done. Turns out it was a simple fix and I wasn’t charged for it. I was not home at the time, my fiancé was. She had them unclog a shower that had been having problems. They fixed that and it seems to be working well. They are not the “cheap guy” when it comes to cost. However, I can say they stood behind the warranty they gave me and didn’t charge to come back out. I recommend them for major plumbing repairs where you have significant costs. They stand by their warranty

Alright, I thought. Then I discovered that the spigot Roger installed on the outside was smaller than the original hole, so he left me with a hole that left an opening to rain and critters, etc. Then I had an energy assessment done on my house and discovered that the water heater installed was only 57% efficient. I called and spoke directly to the owner, Jack. He talked to me like my complaint was ridiculous, because the water heater they'd put in my house was, "the water heater we install more than any other!" In this day and age of information and stress on being careful about our planet, who installs inefficient water heaters, wasting energy, more often than any other? Then he asked me if I'd made it plain that I wanted an efficient water heater. Are you kidding me?! I answered that Roger had tried to sell me a larger water heater and I'd expressly stated that I wanted a smaller on to save on energy. I live alone! I don't need to have or pay for a huge water heater! Then about a year later, my toilet started leaking and I had to pay a plumber to come and replace seals in the bottom of the tank. He said whoever re-installed this toilet should have checked the age and condition of the seals. I guess those aren't expensive enough for Roger to have noticed, although he was the one who suggested he'd be glad to replace my outside spigot with one guaranteed not to freeze. I've thought about giving this report for a long time, and then you asked me to.

Hope was easy to connect with and communicated well before, up to and after the visits. Justin did an excellent job assessing and advising me on the problem. He determined that the issue wasn't just with the failed bolt to the wall, but the deterioration of an interior part on the bar.. Justin recommending that I go back to the original vendor of the shower bar for replacement parts rather than Hope. He was spot on since I had to provide proof of purchase and other information to get the free replacement parts. Hope charged an initial $69 assessment fee which they subtracted from the final repair bill. In addition, they sent a $25 gift card after the first visit to apply to my next service, which Justin used when he returned for the final repair after the replacement part had been received from Hans Grohe. All around professional and excellent customer service.

It was a bit frustrating. The original person that was supposed to come first thing in the morning called in sick; it happens and I'm glad the guy went home instead of coming to my house. It was frustrating that I rearranged my work schedule to have work done first thing in the morning but no one was able to come until 3 hours later. They did call a couple times to tell me they were still working on finding someone. My thought was that the 2 small items of work I needed done wouldn't take very long and wouldn't cost much, but I think I needed to be revived after hearing that replacing a $20 part would cost $300 and snaking a drain is $200. Talk about sticker shock. Jeremy was understanding and very nice. I did end up having him snake the drain, which relieved the clog in the wall pipe. But I didn't have him replace the basket strainer. I opted to buy another part and install myself, which I was trying to avoid in the first place.

Happy they were able to begin right after quote (immediately). I was anxious to get done. They completed project, after 2 leaks and having to also repair damage they caused in adjacent bathroom.

Work was done well but installer wanted to sell me the disposal through them. I had already purchased the disposal. Their price was much higher than what I paid despite the fact that it was essentially the same model as what I purchased . It would have been good if I had received the pricing information at the time I scheduled the service .

They did a rebuild and everything is functioning wonderfully well! Hope Plumbing is our "go to" plumber for all our plumbing needs. They are very responsive when called for service and are very professional in their work. We purchased an Angie's List Deal: $200 of service for $100. It was well worth it.

LACKED SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE TO REPAIR

Hope diagnosed the problem and were able to come out the next morning to install the new faucet. I am very pleased with the result and would hire Hope again.

Service professional was punctual , prompt, professional. Explained everything well and arrived on time. They accidentally overcharged me and then corrected the mistake after the fact. Very honest company.

Well, turns out I need a re-pipe of my main. Super disappointing but not surprising given the idiot that plumbed this house to begin with. This company is very nice and easy to work with. Will be using them when I re-pipe

Caleb came on a Monday. He provided me with different options to fix my problem. The new plumbing and pit was installed on Tuesday. Great work and friendly people.

Work was excellent with an extremely knowledgeable plumber who was able to explain issues he encountered as the work was done. Price did not increase despite issues found. I rated the price as a B only because the hourly rate is really high, BUT it was similar to other quotes. I rated punctuality as a B since they had to reschedule to the next day. They called and kept us informed very professionally as the job before us kept getting longer, but they waited until it was after 5 pm before deciding to reschedule to the next day.

They went out the same day. The service was fast and prompt.
