I heard feral noises in my boiler room, so I called Eric at 7:00 AM on June 13th. He arrived by 10:00 AM and informed me that after listening to the sounds, he was sure it was baby raccoons. He put exclusion paste on the pipe where the mother had come into the boiler room and also at the top of the chimney. He told me that 70% of the time this will cause the mother to move her babies. He came out on 6/19 to see if she and the babies were gone. Luckily, they were! He checked to see what chimney caps I needed, purchased them, and returned the next day to put them on. He was very professional and pleasant. He also made sure I got the 10% discount. I would highly recommend him for his knowledge and professionalism. He really knew what he was doing.

Eric responded quickly to my call and was able to remove the carcass with his equipment. He was efficient and pleasant. He pointed out the spaces under the steps that should be filled in, offered a solution he could make, but agreed that a better method was one he could not offer "mudracking".

I contacted Eric Lowe back in the winter but not much could be done until the snow was gone. When I called back this spring, he was very responsive in calling back and setting up an appointment to complete the work. It took him about an hour to do the job. He is very knowledgeable about getting rid of animals.

I called to explain the situation of discovering the possum and realizing it was injured and probably old and dying. Eric Lowe, the owner operator, answered the phone, asked a few questions and said he would arrive in about 10 minutes. He was prompt, professional, and removed the possum. This is the third time I have used this company. The previous time was for a dead raccoon. Twice before one of his employees came. All three times were handled professionally and even, though it may sound odd, almost sympathetic for the animals as well as me.

SQUIRRELS! Eric answered my call on the 2nd ring! He also happened to be in the Broad Ripple area. He came right over, did a through inspection and found where the squirrels were likely getting in. Since there is about 10 inches of snow on the ground and on my roof he will come back after a spring thaw to investigate further. He couldn't be nicer or more helpful! Despite the ice and snow he managed to climb a ladder, found a way to attach a trap by my roof-line gutter to catch them upon exit if they are still in the house. Plus, I love that he is a retired firefighter. He gave me the Angie's 10% discount immediately when I mentioned Angie's List. I highly recommend!

I had contacted two animal removal services. The first one I had used in the past and they said their fee was $245 for the initial visit. My husband thought it was high so I went back to Angie's List and found Hoosier Wildlife Control. Upon contacting Eric, his initial fee was $145 and he had excellent reports. Conveniently he was able to come out right away and he inspected my attic and saw there were mice feces and birds nests in my attic. Unfortunately with the ice and snow on my roof, he was unable to completely eradicate the birds nest and close up the opening on my roof. As an interim fix, he laid out mouse poison to eliminate the mice and said he would be back when the temperatures warmed up to remove the nests and feces and then repair the roof vent opening. I have another attic which he said he would look at the later date as well.

I called Hoosier Wildlife Control and they gave me a date they could stop bye for a first look at my problem. On the day they were to arrive, I received a call in advance to see if the time was O.K. Eric arrived on time and went right to work. First he did a ground inspection and found a small hole up near the roof that he filled to see if something was using it to get into the house. Next he did a roof inspection. I have Gutter Guard on my home and Eric was careful not to do any damage. Then he inspected the attic and found signs of mice but nothing larger. He set a trap that could catch several mice before it had to be checked and he put out bait. He wanted another member of his team to stop by the following week to make a more detailed inspection of the attic and it was also done on time. Eric followed up the same day and installed a cover over a bath vent. I will see him again in a couple of weeks to remove the trap in the attic. Eric and Nick are easy to talk to and they answered every question. They made several suggestions which I will follow up with in the spring. I felt good about my decision to call them.
Description of Work: My home is next to two active fields and I wanted my attic checked for any animals. I caught several mice before my trap started missing. This had not happened before and the bait was taken each time. This made me think I had squirrels or something larger taking the bait. It was time to call a professional.

It was a bad news/good news experience because the total visit was less than 30 minutes long. So the $145 visit charge was really steep, though it was discounted 10% for Angie's list. Of course I knew going into the visit what the charge would be. But the news was good in that I didn't need to arrange for monitoring traps for chipmunks or other critters. And the other aspects of the visit were very good.
Description of Work: Checked basement crawlspace for any animals because of hearing scratching in a nearby wall and tunnels in the crawlspace dirt and feces. Checked foundation area outside the crawl space for signs of entry. Concluded that evidence was of rat, though not especially recent. Provided explanation of what he was looking for along the way and suggestions for following up on my concerns.

Eric Lowe visited our home and provided a free estimate to evict bats from our attic. The price was good and we approved the work. The two guys that completed were very thorough (and no complaints about being on our very high roof!). They showed up when they said, and did the work for the price committed. We are now bat free! Thank you!

Excellent, very pleased with Eric and his crew.
Description of Work: Eric came out and looked in the attic even though he doesn't usually come to my side of town. He did it because i had previously had someone out to get raccoons out of my attic with no results. he was here the next day and gave me an idea of what was going on and how to get mama raccoon and her babies out of my attic. within a few days she moved her babies out and he came back and repaired the vents she destroyed, then came back the next day to clean up her mess in the attic and replace my insulation and fogged the attic, for a much lower price than I was quoted by the other company. he was here when he said he was going to be, very professional and I very much appreciate him making an exception in my case to come so far to help me out. i will recommend him very highly to anyone who has a problem with uninvited guests in their home.

When we found a raccoon curled up in our basement yesterday evening, we were happy be able to immediately get in touch with Eric at Hoosier Wildlife Control. We had a bit of confusion on address and phone numbers (since my husband and I called separately), but Eric arrived promptly this morning as promised, and he and his colleague knew exactly what to do. They captured the animal (which appeared to be sick), determined how it had got in (uncapped chimney) and recommended remediation We hired them on the spot to clean up and install a chimney cap. They carried this out the same day, to our satisfaction. They were polite, well-equipped, professional and knowledgeable. They were also compassionate towards the sick, frightened animal, and knew how to operate safely and within DNR guidelines. They also inspected our property for other critter problems, and made some suggestions but did not push us to buy other services. Overall, we were very pleased with their service. Their attention to safe handling and clean-up, as well as their attention to humane treatment especially impressed me.

After moving in we quickly realized we had unwanted visitors in the attic, who were making their way in around some loose and damaged soffit. Another company inspected and provided a much higher estimate, and Hoosier came with some good word of mouth recommendations, so we went with them. In the meantime we had them do another small job and were satisfied. They removed the mess and replaced the insulation, which is now nice and thick. They put some flashing on the roof so the raccoons would not be able to get any traction, and replaced the soffit with a stronger type. It's been well over a year now and we haven't had any more visitors up there! We'll use them for any other critter problems in the future.

I don't know what they are going to charge me this time; they are trapping animals and it is per animal charge, and we are up to four at this point. Then they will have to do some work refurbishing the crawl space. They had worked on a project last year and it was reasonable. It worked and the animals didn't come back. Now we have a different issue. There isn't anything I don?t like. He is a sole proprietor and he does his own work. The animals are gone and they don't come back. It is good for our house. He is responsive; he always answers the call. He is humane and thoughtful, and gets the job done. He is relatively quick in getting the job done and his response time is good. I hope I don't have to use him again. Assuming there is any problem after this one, I will definitely call him first.
