Description of Work: First time..Replaced section of ceiling due to termite damage and repainted the area. Did a great job. You cannot tell where the repair was. Second time... repaired a Lazy Susan in bottom cabinet that was off it's track and wouldn't rotate.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for wooden deck or wooden fence maintenance package. They were the worst company. They did not charge me any additional fees but I am still dealing with the mess their employee made. I would not recommend their service to anyone.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for air carpentry work. They fixed the siding and flashing on the side of the home and garage.

Description of Work: I had a quote given to me after they did an inspection of the work I wanted done. they had a coupon special for $229 for4 hours of work. I scheduled the work to be done with the office the same day that the inspection was done. The work was to have been done today, July 10, two weeks after the inspection. Work was scheduled for 9-1. At 10am I called the officee since no one had shown up to do the work. I informed the office woman of the situation and she responded that she would get (call) right back to me. By 4pm I still had not heard from her or had anyone arrive to do the work. I called back and she informed me that the workman had a family emergency. She failed to call me back and inform me of the situation. She attempted to reschedule the appointment and I decided to cancel the work. i believe they demonstrated themselves to be unreliable. I will not attempt to use again.

Description of Work: Handyman Connection fixed a wall and a ceiling for me. Another time, they put some vinyl down in the bathroom. The third time, I had some old locks on some doors and I was looking for a kind of second opinion to fix my problem and they came up with them.

Description of Work: Called to schedule appointment for estimate, gentleman came and I walked through all of the things I needed done, he wrote out two service orders (one for the $99 special and another for the few other things I needed done). Called to schedule him to come do the work and it turns out he wasn't available for over a month to actually do the work. I called back and said I needed it done sooner, so they sent someone out to do the work yesterday, June 25. The problem is they only gave this new gentleman one of the work orders, not both of them, and did not tell him he needed an extra tall ladder due to the ceiling height in my condo. So he came out and was unable to do any work. I asked again to have the gentleman who came and gave the original estimate, but he still was unavailable through the end of July. And, it turns out that because he didn't fill out the work order thoroughly enough, they couldn't even do all of the work I had asked him to do, and no one else besides him could do that additional work without another estimate and work order. Dealing with them has been a huge waste of my time and am very dissapointed.

Description of Work: awful, awful, awful! Worker had NO idea what he was doing. He damaged my brand new home. Do NOT use this company.

Description of Work: The gentleman that performed the work was excellent...job well done, woukld definitely reccomend.

Description of Work: This work was from a special ran by Angie's List. The worker was very prompt and thorough. He walked the entire fence for loose or cracked boards. He replaced a couple fence boards and also cut down 2 of the three gates I had so that they would close without catching the ground. Very polite.

Description of Work: The drawer slide on one of our kitchen drawers was broken. Handyman Connection came in to estimate our situation and was able to fix it on the spot. There was no follow-up visit needed, saving on our final cost plus their work is guaranteed. We're very safisfied. The job was completed 0n 8/31/2012.

Description of Work: This company has completed work in my home on two occasions. The first time was to repair a pot light and hang a large picture. The second time was to repair a light fixture. On both occasions, the service person was punctual, courteous and professional. I am satisfied with the quality of the work and would probably use them in the future. Their rates are high, but there is the old adage, " You get what you pay for"--hopefully.

Description of Work: Install door handle on screen door. Fix Garage steel door so that it no longer binds. Had to grind the metal down quite a bit. Repainted door.
