We had a small hump in our kitchen floor due to a raised joist that needed to be repaired so our new hardwood floor could be installed. After some back and forth it was determined to be a cosmetic issue and they agreed to take the job. They were well aware that it was crucial we get this done so the installer could continue our installation. The HC guy came out on Thursday, pulled up the floor in the area leaving a large hole which was covered in plywood until he came back the next day. (Our refrigerator was pulled out to the middle of the kitchen.) He initially told us he would be here at 2:00 but upon leaving on Thursday said he hoped to be back at 9:30 if he could switch jobs. When 9:30 came and went we were expecting him at 2:00. By around 3:00 my husband began to call HC to see what was going on but was only able to leave a message. He left three messages with no reply. By 4:45 we knew they weren’t coming and very thankfully were able to scramble and arrange for someone else to finish the work. I left a message with HC telling them how unhappy I was and this terminated the job with them. About 10 minutes later the HC guy finally called. We aren’t certain if he intended to come because he said he was having car issues. My biggest problem with all this that they knew our timing issues, took the job, then didn’t have the professionalism to answer or return phone calls. HC was recommended by our flooring company and I will urge them to never do so again.

It went great! The handyman did a fantastic job from start to finish! He examined the situation with my leaky chimney carefully, came up with the best solution and fixed that, and then did a beautiful job with the repair of the damage in my bathroom closet. Great work!

Nathan came to my in-laws home to see the damage and give an estimate to fix the ceiling damage. He made a quick assessment and we set 2 appointment times to fix the drywall and paint the ceiling within a week and a half of the estimate. At the end of the second day, the ceiling looked like there had never been any damage. Nathan did a fantastic job. My in- laws couldn’t be happier. In fact they have already had Nathan back to do more work!

Excellent. Nate was on time, efficient, professional and great to work with.

Technician was very pleasant and seemed competent. He said I was expected to provide the materials. When I objected, he said this was to prevent any padding of materials by the contractor. I advised him that I did not have time to run down materials and would not know what to buy anyway. I said that the last technician from the company purchased the material he needed and I reimbursed him. He said he could do that. I warned him that any padding of material cost would result in a law suit and notification of the attorney general. Later that afternoon, a woman from the company called and said she didn't feel comfortable with threats to her technician. She was very defensive about it, and I cancelled the contract.

All visits were on time with excellent communication before during and after the work. Heder and Nate were both extremely good at their work

The company responded quickly to my message. A tech came out and provided an estimate. We ended up changing a few things around but they were flexible. They were a little backed up so it took a few weeks to get on the schedule but all work was done in one day. The gentleman installed a new dog door into our 3rd bay so our dogs could get into the fenced in backyard. He also fixed some trim work that my dog had chewed on, installed hose racks and a new hose splitter on the side of the house. I had new patio chairs and one was missing the correct drill hole to assemble and he added the hole and assembled the chair. He was very helpful as I added a few of the items on the day he came. I would definitely hire them again for other projects! It was so nice to just have everything completed quickly and properly!

Everything well very well except for late arrival.

Nate did an excellent job. The fence posts were being ejected. He reset the bad posts and now the fence looks just like it did when it was new. He also fixed a bedroom door frame that was broken years ago. Excellent work, excellent price.

It went great. The service technician Gibson did an excellent job. He was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

They did a great job of matching up or siding on the upper side of our home. You can't even tell that it was replaced. They were prompt and professional.

What a pleasant, easy experience! I worked with Damon, who spent this week finishing up a bunch of projects in my rental property. He was very straight with me about what I could do on my own to save myself a few $$, and went above and beyond pointing out things that I would want to consider looking into in the future (i.e. - he discovered that my furnace starter is out - I might not have noticed until next winter!). The projects he completed for me were: -Replace bathroom floor -Install Pedestal Sink -Replace broken floorboard -Install kitchen countertop -Cut hole/Install Kitchen Sink -Install Dishwasher -Repair Holes from Previous Electrician -Repair Drywall from Kitchen Cabinet Renovation (the backsplash plaster was broken down to the lath) -Sand stair treads/risers to prepare for stain/paint He also helped troubleshoot a broken shower handle, as well as a couple of broken stair treads (He helped figure out the supplies that I need to fix them myself). Overall, I am EXTREMELY pleased. I'll definitely be requesting him again should I need any help in the future!!

Repair from a previous roof leak caused damage to the drywall. The repair and painting looked better than new.

These jobs were done almost a year ago. The handymen sent was Tyler. Sanding the wood took the longest time - 4 hours almost with breaks for him. The varnish/paint that he suggested did not work out to be even close to the match and even after I called the office, there were no talks on re-doing the job. The 3 way switch - well he couldn't fix it inspite of spending tonnes of time on it. I can accept that not all electrical jobs can be done but then we shouldn't have been charged for a job undone. The sink - he struggled a lot with it and he was here till almost 8 pm! He struggled fitting the pipes etc and for a while there, we thought that, that was one job that was well done. Well, we were wrong. He botched up that as well since the sink leaks every now and then. So now we have to spend money on someone better to fix up a bad job done by him. We would never hire from this company again - especially given that we had to pay for all the jobs not well done at all.

It was great from start to finish. When I inquired online, the company promptly called, and the next day Andy came over for an estimate. He spent over an hour of his time discussing my needs and making professional suggestions. He said he’d be the one who’d do the work if I chose them. It was a 5-day project, so it was nice knowing in advance who would be coming into our home everyday. Once I called to schedule, Andy started that next week. He worked so diligently, we barely knew he was here! I ordered the tile from one store, and the shower door from another, and he went and picked them up at no extra charge! In the end, I was very happy with his craftsmanship and my updated bathroom!

Outstanding response - much much better than a couple of others listed on the site. (read: no response or follow up at all) Handyman Connection promptly responded to my call setting an appointment that afternoon. Service was performed the following day. "Lovette" is the absolute BEST! Great man and more than professional! HIGHLY recommend this company. Thank you Handyman Connection
