They were a little late to the appointment, he was a new guy. Other than that, everything went well. Did a good job and was a polite and nice guy. He answered all of my questions. I have no complaints about it.

6106 I was unclear on how to program my thermostat. I called the Godby office and the person told me that she would have a specialist call me asap. Greg called me within ten minutes and explained how to program the thermostat over the phone. Not only was he helpful and patient, he saved me the price of a service call.

Joe was on time. Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

When you have a house and a car, you are constantly searching for contractors and technicians who are reliable, trustworthy and fair. I have tried several companies through the years for home service, and have ended up feeling overcharged and not given the best service or advice. After my experience with Godby HPE, I feel that they have been the best company I have worked with so far. My first experience with Godby was in June when I had a leaky gas shut-off valve. I called them on a weekend and they promptly sent a tech out. Tom was so friendly and easy to work with that I decided to try Godby again in August for plumbing, A/C, and electrical work I needed to have done. Drew Gomez, their plumbing manager, came to my home and gave me a quote for plumbing repairs. After seeing how much I could save by having a maintenance agreement, I purchased one and became a Godby member. They sent Gary to do the work and he arrived promptly and began. Having an older home, we ran into more work needed than anticipated. Drew promptly gave me a new estimate and we scheduled additional days to complete the work. Gary eventually completed the work. He was experienced and easy to work with and I feel confident that he did a good job. I also needed new A/C equipment and met with Jeremy Winter, their account rep, who gave me a great deal on a furnace and heat pump. Godby sent Bill and Mike to install the equipment. To my surprise, Jeremy had upgraded the system and Bill and Mike installed it in one day. They were also very experienced and easy to work with and the system has been working great. Finally, I needed some electrical work done and Jeff came to do the work. He was also experienced and easy to work with. He installed some fixtures and an outlet, and once again, because I was a Godby member, I was given a fair price. From the conversations that I have had with all the reps and techs at Godby, they really seem to care about doing a good job and being fair with pricing. From what I have experienced so far, they seem to ?take care of their customers.? When installing some equipment, it requires knowledge of different trades. The fact that they specialize in Heating/Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical, and knowing that they have experienced and knowledgeable staff, makes me very comfortable with this company.

I've liked them all along. The same guy comes each time. They give us a discount on any other service we need, because we have the contract with them.

We are moving into a home we just bought and discovered 2 problems that we wanted resolved immediately. The ice maker line to the refrigerator had a slow leak that was only discovered when the refrigerator was moved to paint behind it. The previous owners had thought they had fixed the toilet issue. Godby's was able to provide service to us the same day we called. Although their own plumbers were fully booked they engage contract service when needed. The phone contact told us when the person would arrive and they were right on time. Problems were efficiently resolved.

We called Godby around 8pm on a Wednesday when we noticed there was no hot water at our residence. A live person answered from their answering service and forwarded our call to a technician who called us back around 9pm. They were able to come out the next day and found the problem quickly. They then came out the next day with a new water heater (50 gallon) and installed it with removal of old one in less than 3 hours. We felt that the initial quote was too high ($2108 for everything) and they told us of a $250 coupon online which brought the price into the range we felt was reasonable. Overall, we were very impressed with the level of service and professionalism from this company. We feel like we got a great product at a reasonable price. They cleaned up after themselves and we would use them again. I would recommend them for similar services.

The project took all day, and Godby had to dig a huge trench from house to meter base. They did an excellent job. No complaints and best price!

Everything was fine; the person who answered the phone and took the order was very nice; the guy who fixed the spigot was extremely pleasant--he was a guy to who Godby subbed the job--and as far as I know, the job was done properly. My only complaint was the price. I may be out of touch, but $379 plus tax seemed a lot for replacing a broken spigot. He did have to go into the crawl space to do it, but he was in and out pretty quickly, so I don't think it was particularly arduous. I had Godby do significant work for me in the past--in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009--and was always very pleased with both the price and the quality of service. I looked at the old bills to compare; the price this time seemed well out of line.

Very well. DeWayne really knows his stuff and the other field people were very good. Godby seems to always do great work and you can tell that they always put the customers needs first. I would recommend them to any family needing service or replacement.
