It goes very well. I recently had a new sump pump installed and because I have the service contract they discounted this job. They did a great job, the price was excellent and the product was top notch.

I think this is the best company I have dealt with on the list. Pam is outstanding in the office. The technician was outstanding. I feel bad. I don't remember his name! He had the best personality. I had an issue in general with a water damage issue. Therefore I appreciated his extra care and wonderful personality.

I had some unexplained dry substance around the drain that goes into my floor in the closet with my water heater and A/C. I was also having issues with one toilet. This is the first time I have used them. The lady on the phone could not have been any nicer! Her empathy for my situation could not have been more appreciated. The first time they had was the next morning. However she knew my concerns. She ended up calling me back, and a technician could come out in the afternoon. Eddie was my plumber, and he went everywhere. The other company on Angie's List that came the day prior, just looked at one thing and left. It was so appreciated. However, the substance was a complete mystery. He recommended I have a HVAC come out, because the drain also involved the A/C unit. He felt he ruled out all plumbing issues. However, he went above and beyond, making a further suggestion. Therefore that was the next call I made.

I have been very happy with Godby's service. About 3 years ago, I had to replace my furnace and added a heat pump. I went with Godby at that time and couldn't be happier. They have been very helpful and appropriate with their work and cost. This was just another routine maintenance to insure everything was working well. They were very thorough with their inspection and professional with their work. I would highly recommend the company and the technicians.

Very informative representative. We told him what we wanted to do, and he said it would take him a few days to get an estimate together. We agreed that would not be a problem. After several weeks of not hearing from him, I e-mailed him. No response. After a few more weeks, I called the office. The lady answering the phone said she would give him the message to call me. No response. It is almost October, and we still have not had any response from Godby.

The technician showed up on time and did a fine job. He knew what he was doing and was finished in about 15 minutes. My only complaint is that the capacitor he replaced can be purchased on-line for about $15 including shipping. I think the $221 charge to replace it was excessive.

The cost is included in the maintenance fee I have so there was no cost for this call.

*UPDATE* The owner, Jason, personally contacted me phone to discuss the issues I encountered on 8/11/14. He was very polite and apologetic, and also offered explanations but not excuses. He also presented me with several offers in an attempt to earn back my trust and business. We did agree on a solution that we both felt was fair, and I will be giving Godby another chance at my business as a result. I very much appreciate that Jason reached out to me to make things right, and it's nice to know that Angie's List is a powerful tool for both consumers and businesses that take customer service seriously. I hired Godby back in 2009 to install a new water heater after the original one that came with the new house busted (approx. 7 years). All was well until 11 pm last night, when this one busted and leaked all 40 gallons of water. We cleaned up the mess as best we could and decided to call in the morning since it wasn't an emergency. I called around 7:45 this morning and was informed by the gentleman on the phone that someone would call me as soon as normal business hours began. He took all of my info, and I waited for the call. 10 am rolls around, still no call from Godby, I decided to call them. After explaining the issue to the woman on the phone and letting her know that they did the installation and the water heater is still under warranty, I am informed that there is no record that they did the installation. I ask her to double check and read her the information that was left by the tech (date of install and name of tech). She then informs me that the company was bought out by a family member a few years back, and that it was possible the records were lost then. She agreed that they did do the install since the tech named still works for them. I then asked if they would still honor the warranty and was informed that I would need to deal with the manufacturer with that issue. I then asked if someone would be able to come out today to fix/replace the water heater and was informed that they only employ one plumber and he was booked for the entire day. Almost as soon as I get off the phone with that lady, I get a call from another lady at Godby to follow up on my original call, almost 3 hours later at this point!!! Luckliy, I did find another company through Angie's List that came out today to replace the water heater AND honored the manufacturers warranty. I was informed by the owner of this company (Allen Plumbing Co) that installers normally honor the manufactuers warranty, and that I should only be charged for labor. Godby will not be getting my business again, and I will call Allen Plumbing for any plumbing needs in the future!

They do job. I got them because i called numerous companies and they are the only ones who responded immediately. Their price is competitive.

He showed up on time and did a great job. He was nice. He fixed it and the same day, I called to get a check.

Two service calls required. Replacing N-frame took four hrs as predicted. Apparently Carrier is having a lot of problems with their N-frames. Servicer was very professional but did relate how they were required by Carrier to hold on to the bad N-frame for 90 days before they could turn it in and get paid for the new one.

We had problems with them earlier on my whole set up and operation of my furnace. We had probably a dozen service calls from Godby about these major issues. There were problems with mistakes in installation. I was pretty dissatisfied with the system we had. We can't fix the system we have and it took over a dozen calls to fix issues in the past.
