Description of Work: A Tom came out and told me I needed a new electric board for my furnace that was installed by a gas man in 2012. He said I had to sign a paper for him to go and get the part......I was charged $47. for him to go and get the board. When he installed the electric board.....he then told me I needed a new enducer. He told me for the amount of the enducer($750.00) that I should get a new furnace....He had me to call the office and talk with a gentleman who could tell me more. When I called he told me in 2013 they would be having 90% efficiency furnaces in 2013 by law and they would cost more...and he could get me an 80% effc. furnace for $2,100.00. They would give a credit on the electric board, they didnt say how much. Tom left with no heat but with a $622.00 electric board..which he instisted I had to pay for because they could not reuse the new electric board. After he left they kept leaving messages leaving appt times I didnt agree to or set for the other sales man to come out. I called a retired gas man who was 85 years old a friend of family. It took him 25 minutes to tell me the new board was lined up wrong and there was no way my furnace would get any electric power. He relined the electric board and now I have heat and the enducer works just fine....it is now 10/11/12. The 85 year old gas man told me the board should have cost no more than $200.00. This 85 year old retired gas man wouldnt charge me anything because he felt I had been taken for too much already. Sincerely, Linda Calvert

Description of Work: I have used Godby Heating and Cooling a bunch of times. I used them last year for a tune-up. I have an annual contract.

Description of Work: They did some heating & A/C Maintenance. Everything went great.

Description of Work: The company sold me service agreements for my home and rental property, then they said I needed a new furnace. If I needed a new furnace they should have been able to see that a month earlier instead of selling me a service agreement to keep that one going.

Description of Work: My bathtub was not draining on a Sunday. They came out, charged extra because it was Sunday and did not unclog drain because according to technician, pipes were too winding for his snake. He told me to go to the store and get some boric acid. The man at the store told me that this would eat the finish off of my tub. Roto-rooter came out the next day, fixed the problem and charged half the price. I was told by the manager that I would be refunded. He stopped anwering my calls after several weeks and I still have not received it.
