Godby H&H was professional and communicative about the process of purchasing and installation. I was happy with their performance.

Godby was able to send a service person that same day given their current scheduled job location. All Godby team members were professional, thorough and timely. This is my second interaction with their team and I am very very pleased. I would highly recommend them!

The work crew showed up exactly when they said they would and quickly got to work. They came and ripped out the old unit which had never worked from when we bought our house, and we had to wait a few weeks for them to install the new one, which was a little h****** my young children. But once they came in and installed the new one and made it so it was operational it is better then we had hoped!! I personally had never owned a fireplace in my previous residences, but family and friends who had have loved it and compliment it all the time!

They were efficient, professional and cheaper than other retailers that we investigated.

We chose Godbys for the purchase and instillation of our wood burning fireplace insert because of the longevity and reputation of the company..we wanted someone we could trust to do the job right..They came and gave an estimate for instillation...the installer was very professional and gave us a good price on the instillation. They were to order stove and call us when it arrived to set up a time for instillation..said it would be a few weeks....we had to make several calls, asking if it had come in yet...we were finally told that it had arrived, but had not been tagged for instillation, it had just been sitting in the back. ..they were so sorry...the installer called my husband and set up time for install. They came, and did a very professional job with install, cleaned up their mess...were very nice. I have nothing but high regard for the installer..he was always very professional and helpful each time we spoke to him.... The problem is after the install...I called 3 times to let them know that the fan was making an unreasonable amount of noise...I spoke to different men each time...they told me they would let the installer know we were having an issue so he could make appointment to come and see what the problem was..never heard from him...My guess is that he never received the message....the final time I called, I left a voice mail message asking them to contact my husband....he received a call stating they were just going to order a new fan unit and would call us when it arrived...this was months ago...never heard from anyone...never recieved a fan....I went online and ordered a replacement fan from Amazon that cost me $150.00..it was delivered in less than a week...my husband installed it himself and it solved the problem immediately..I have no time or recommendations for a company that won't take customer complaints seriously...they blew me off each time I called...this fan was not just making a little noise...it was basically affecting our life and I told them that..I feel that I was being labeled a crazy woman for complaining about the noise, but clearly there was a problem that a new fan fixed immediately....we were unable to use the stove much of the time because of the high pitched whine and vibration it was making...Godby's were great at selling us a unit...but customer service needs to be taken into consideration when making a recommendation..so unfortunately...I won't recommend.

I had been thinking about getting a fireplace or stove for a long time. One night I saw a coupon for 100 for 500 off a wood stove. So I figured it was about time. I went in to talk to a sales associate. They were very helpful and had a lot of options. Once the work began. They were all very knowledgeable and professional. The whole thing went great. And it came in on the low side of the quote.

Arrived on time, performed his work, and cleaned up when he was done. Did a great job.

They are very professional and they explained what they were doing. They are the only company we will use.

The folks at Godby's service department were great. From returning my first call quickly, to letting me email them a picture of the outdoor fireplace when I couldn't find the make and model information, they were professional, friendly, and got the job done when they said they would. We'll definitely use them for our fireplace needs in the future.

We took it in, they kept it for a couple of days and got it fixed.

They did a good job with the fireplace. They come out to measure and then you go to the store to pick out the logs and door. It takes awhile to receive everything, but they are custom made to your fireplace size. They were able to recommend a plumber to install the gas line. We love the new fireplace. For the shower door, it took several visits to finish the job, but it all turned out ok. The wrong color was brought first and luckily the installer asked before he installed it if it was the right color. He had already torn out the existing shower door, but we had another shower we could use. There were 3 subsequent visits to install and level the door. It is great.

I am satisfied with the service and so glad I had it done. I was a bit worried about using the unit prior to having it serviced. I just moved into the home this May and was not sure how well the unit had been maintained by the previous owners. I now feel confident that I can safely use the log set. I have been enjoying it frequently since the service.

When I contacted them they informed that they didn't have the proper license to complete the work but were able to recommend 2 other companies that would do the work. They were very helpful over the phone as well as polite.

Work was performed in a timely manner and is still working well one year later. Automatic starters were not working on either and they fixed that and is still working.

Could not have gone better. Fast, efficient, clean and knowledgeable. He put down a large cover over my carpet area in front of the fireplace, wore booties, brought in a shop vac and brush to clean the logs and fireplace, did the work and left. Fireplace is now repaired, clean and works great.

After I scheduled my appointment, they called back with an earlier date - Awesome! On the day of service - they called as they promised and ask if they could come a little early - Super!!!! All work completed as expected, they were neat and courteous.

We were very pleased with the whole experience. The initial contact with the salesman was pleasant and informative. The next step was for the installer to come to our home to take measurements and see what other materials were needed for the installation. We then placed the order and when the insert was delivered to them, the installer brought it out and installed it. The installer was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative both times he was out. We previously had a woodburning Buck fireplace insert that we had used for over 25 years. The new Quadra-Fire Voyageur that we purchased is so impressive in the heat that it produces and the efficiency with which it operates.

We used Godby twice and both times the technician who came out was very helpful, friendly, and professional. I also had great conversations with Godby as to options I might have with my fireplace and I appreciate the helpful information that I received. I would use them again and highly recommend.

Just the switch that turns on the fireplace. Check the fan and all working parts of the fireplace. He couldn't find anything wrong except that the switch just needed to be flipped a few times to get it working. He stayed at least 30 minutes just to see if the fan for the fireplace would come on and was working. Then he told me there was no charge. I was very surprised as I was prepared to pay for a service call. Kudos for such wonderful service.

The process went very smoothly. Godby was willing to accomodate my difficult schedule when someone would be home. The price was good for the line of shower frame and glass I chose. He did charge $150.00 extra to remove the old frame. His crew does not do any shower repairs and I found someone to do those on Angie's List. The end result was a new shower enclosure with a neat installation using silicone caulking. I did this all through Godby representative who was a courteous fellow over the phone. I'm the type who likes to look at the product before I buy but this time I didn't have the time so I did it all through the Godby rep, the brochure and glass samples and I think it turned out pretty good.

The pilot light light would not light. The tech meticulously cleaned each and every part of the log set and burner system. He was right on time and kept on task throughout the time here. He was exceptionally pleasant and efficient in his use of time. We have a second fireplace that needs servicing. I will be calling Godby to schedule an additional call.

Discovered gas line was blocked by gas spiders and web. Inspected fireplace and cleaned gas line. Also gave advice on how to maintain fireplace properly in the future.
