It went great. They were wonderful. They were professional and timely. They have great customer service. The guys were really nice and did a great job. Their rates were the least expensive.

Went excellent. I was not in a rush to have it done, so they had a gentleman who lived in the area come by after work and measure and replace. It went well and I will use them again. Very easy to work with.

Kind of hard to find and not in the best area. But the lady was very nice and helpful. Gave me a quote and a pick up date. They ran a few days behind the initial pick up date, but everything looked great and was 50% cheaper than any other place I got a quote from. Helped me carry all of my things back to the car and everything.

His bid was by far the most reasonable and the work was done quickly and without complaint especially give the quote.

They replaced a windown that was hit by a golf ball. The price was great and they were quick to respond.

I called on a Monday to have 3 glass panes in the garage replaced. They measured on Tuesday and installed on Friday. I received a 5% discount for being an Angie's list member.

replacement of thermal pane of glass in atrium door. Everything went well except clean-up of broken glass. They left broken pieces of glass on driveway/sidewalk/deck and inside. We called because of the danger and they asked what they could do, did we want them to come out and clean up. They should not have asked, they should have just been out right away and taken care of without asking.

Came and measured the windows. Came and install them when ready. Punctual and efficient.

Their workman, Kevin, did a superb job in making the glass fit a space that was a fraction off from the size of the glass. It took several hours in 90+ degree heat. Gilpin Glass Services was very accomodating in fiting me in their schedule early the same day as the the break-in to secure my home. I would rate them A++ and have recommended them to my friends and neighbors.

A lite broke in an interior door in our house. I called to see how quickly they could come out to replace the lite. (We were having a party two days later). They suggested that I bring the door in the next day and they could replace the lite the same day. Mr. Gilpin went above-and-beyond by coming into the shop on Saturday morning (when they are closed) so that I could pick up the door. I definitely recommend Gilpin Glass Service. I will use them again.

Provider came out to measure the window informed us how long it would take to order. We received a call to schedule to set up a day and time for the provider to come and install window. Provider came at time agreed upon, removed and hauled away the broken glass before installing the new window. Very professional. Would definite recommend this company.

Glipin Glass is close to our house on the near East side. They are possibly the nicest, most accommodating people to work with. They knew exactly what I needed, took care of it for a very good price. Previously I had gone to different hardware stores with no help at possibly getting the right glass weight to fit this old frame. I used this company about 25 years ago to replace crack glass in our old house in Woodruff Place. I distinctively remember having the same feeling about the integrity of this business. rre

We had a double pain Low energy window that had the seel fail causing fogging to present between the two panes. I called multiple companies of the list and even the window company through warranty service and kept getting a luke warm response since I only had the one window. The estimates I felt were high so I read about Mr. Gilpin and decided I wouldn't pull the trigger without hearing his estimate. I got a hold of him and he came out for an in person estimate which was different than all other companies. everyone else wanted me to measure the window and give them sizing over the phone which I didn't care for in case I messed it up. He came with his daughter and they were both professional. Mr. Gilpin was dressed in his uniform which was nice and tidy. He greeted me with a hand shake and off we went. After his measurements he estimated it would cost 198.36 which was almost 90.00 cheaper than the majority of my estimates. He also said he would order the glass and it would take about a week. Had the install today. He called this morning..his guys came out and were done within 30 minutes. They too were very professional and clean cut. I enjoyed talking with them and they actually explained what they were doing in case I ever need to do it for myself. Left the receipt that showed that it had a 5 year warranty and even stated it was transferrable to the next homeowner and to give them the receipt. Awesome experience. Nice to have a local company who still believes in quality service and a fair price. Thanks!

Two workers came, removed the glass (we had had to break the window and take out the old torn screen), cleaned out the old putty, replaced the two panes of glass and measured for the screen size needed. Another worker installed the screen a few days later. They all were pleasant, listened carefully to our explanation of what we needed to have done, and cleaned up after themselves.
