Angie's list deal paid for 4 hours of labor and stuck to that. Some good advice for treating plants. Will likely have back for more work.

With the exception of arrival the provider did a great job. I thought we had scheduled in the morning and when the provider didn't arrive and I had an appointment, I left a list of the work to be completed. I also phoned the provider and let them know I'd be gone but and they assured me that that they would be able to complete the work that afternoon. When I arrived back home they were still working hard, removing bushes that had frozen over and died after our horrid winter and moving mulch that I had purchased and had dumped on my property. I also, at the last minute asked them if they could install some metal dividers which they graciously agreed to install. They did a great job of clean-up and disposal of the leftovers. Only issue that I'm still trying to deal with is that the shrubs we only cut above the ground and I need them more dug out so that I can replace the bushes. I'll have to hire someone to put the new bushes in but the work was as expected.

It was a good experience. The only problem was that it was difficult to schedule the work due to weather, my goofy work hours and sometimes having a bit of delay on getting my calls returned. Still, we worked it out and I am happy with the results.

He cut out the bush but needed our lawn bags to finish the job because he had no more room on his truck for the debris. Therefore, he left it for our garbage man to take the following week. He was very nice and worked hard for the three hours of the deal, but I had to call him to remind him that I had bought it and when was he going to provide the service? Finally got him here, and when that job was done, contracted with him to cut down bushes in backyard for $300.00 for a full day including cart-away. I watched him write it in his calendar for mid-May. Well, it's June 1, and he still hasn't shown up. I can't depend on him, and no matter how nice he is, I consider him unreliable and won't be using him again.

Garden works contacted by message within 24 hours of purchasing deal asking if they could schedule in the pm on 4/7/14 which was the day I selected. I emailed back the next day confirming that would be fine. Then, I didn't receive any confirmation or response for a few days when I received a message that they wouldn't be free until 5/2/14. I confirmed that 5/2 would work, but again no further response. On 5/2 (I took the day off work) I still had not heard anything so I sent a message asking for a confirmation that they would be there that day. I received a call from Brent who said wouldn't make that day but could come the next day, Saturday 5/3. On 5/3 again in the afternoon got another call saying wouldn't make it but would be there Monday 5/5. Again took off work, but on Monday 5/5 there was no call no show. I sent a message asking what was the status and have not received any further response.

This is the first time I've ever had helpers in my garden. They were late arriving altho' Brent called to tell me they were running late. The big deal 2 hours went very well. Brent and his crew are pleasant and professional. They weren't able to finish distributing the mulch in the 2 hour big deal window. At the $30/hour charge there were more billable hours to finish the job than I had realized...altho' Brent gave me $5/hour off plus trimmed a little off the final bill. I realized after the fact, I needed to be much more specific about what my expectations were, and to be more cognizant of what would be charged going forward. I would certainly recommend Garden Works in the future!

The serviced worked out good, they did a good job. They were good. They were very pleasant to work with, and they were very professional. They got to me right away, but to do the work, first it was the weather, and then there was the other job, so the punctuality was disappointing.

They worked until 8 in the evening but they had a project that ran over for that visit. They did a good job with that work.

The service went well.

I will be working again (very soon) with them on other projects in and around my home! The owner of Garden Works is very knowledgeable about plants, shrubs, and flowers. He made some helpful suggestions and when their time was up, he and his partner continued working on my" next project"..... Super nice guys and very hard workers!! I would recommend them to any of my friends and neighbors who have work to be done in and around their houses.

They arrived when they said they would and completed all the work that was requested. They were helpful with advice and were conscientious in attempting to meet my expectations. We plan to have them do our homeowner's association maintenance.

Responsive. Responsible. Positive. It went well. They did what we asked for and did it well.

He's been doing some work for me off and on for two weeks. He's very personable and he gets back to me right away whenever I call. I think he's been working with me and also working with other things because it's taking him a long time to get the work done. I really don't care about that part because I can't do it myself and I just want to get it done. It ended up more than the four-hour "Big Deal".

Brent was great. He was there when he promised he would be, he cleaned up my yard and cut my grass so it doesn't look like a prairie anymore!! He will come twice a month to maintain my lawn and spray for weeds! I am so excited to have a good landscaper to take care of our yard!! I highly recommend Brent! He is true to his word and does a great job!!

Brett did an excellent job! He was thorough and very courteous. He was very knowledgeable and asked if anything else needed to be done before he left. I was very pleased with is work and his professionalism. I would recommend his to anyone looking for a landscaping service. In fact, I was so pleased with his work that he returned a couple of weeks later, to mulch our front flower beds. One of our neighbors saw him working in our yard and hire him to do some to do a job in his back yard that same day. Very happy with his work and the manner in which he completed it.

i ordered this on 3/28. Service provider contacted me on 3/29 to acknowledge order and said he would be on contact in a few days. He contacted me again on 4/4 and stated that he didn't have my phone number and asked that i message him or call him to get on the schedule the week of May 7th. I sent response back same day questioning why a month and saying can i cancel. I sent him a response the following day and said never mind on the cancel, just to put me on the schedule that week and I would find work for them. No response. I had included my phone number in the response for him to call me as well. No response, no phone call. I sent followup message on April 11th asking if there was a status. Still no response, no phone call. I don't have time to track him down to get it done. I need someone responsive. Very disappointed.

Courteous, clear, responsive to questions and concerns, tidied up as expected, offered additional services if desired.

They did everything that I asked and did a wonderful job! I would highly recommend them.

Three times did not come to do work.

Brent came by while my husband and I were at work and knew exactly what we wanted done with little conversation. Yard looks awesome. Bring on spring!

Brent was very professional and personable. He did an excellent job. He was on time, worked very hard, and worked even through the rain. He finished what I asked him to do and did an excellent job. I was so pleased with his work I have already discussed future plans for my lawn, mulch, and trees.

He's not a licensed arborist, but he has a lot of knowledge about various tree species. He helped me cut down the proper trees and trimmed the ones I maintain the right way. He helped me adjust my landscaping and cleaned up the yard.

I'm not sure your going to find a more well spoken yard handyman more than Brent. He seems to know how to do it all and will keep you in a budget that is workable for about anyone.
