We purchased the daily deal of 4 man hours of landscape work from Franco Landscaping. We were told that we would be contacted for a preliminary review of the work the work to be performed within a few days. We did not receive a call but they did send us an email requesting details of the work to be performed and the best times to contact us. We scheduled an appointment and the representative was prompt and thorough with his questions and ideas. He took pictures of the needed areas and prioritized the work. He told us the 2 week window in which services would be performed. The yard was cleaned up in the time expected however our top priority area was not completed thoroughly. I called Franco and made them aware of the situation. They assured me that they would come back and take care of the issue. Within a few days they had returned and completed the work to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with the result. I would definitely hire them again.

I was entirely pleased with the quality and quantity of work performed, and was pleasantly surprised that my instructions and directions were carried out perfectly.

Franco's is extremely professional. They completed the work with a sense of urgency. They picked up my yard from all the offending weeds, and they bagged all of the castoffs, and hauled them away. I would definitely use them again. Great Job.!!!

Everything went very well! Micah came out and walked the house with me to see what all I wanted done. He took pictures and discussed ideas with me for what they could best do with the time I had purchased. After discussing additional work, we decided on what to move forward with. Micah followed up promptly with an estimate for the additional work and scheduled my regular work. I came home to landscaping that looked fantastic. If only I could keep my landscaping looking this good on my own. I can't say enough about how happy I am with their work and professionalism. I'll definitely be looking to get more work done in the spring and plan to call Franco when it's time.

Came to look and assess the yard. Told us that yard was too big for 4 man hours if they bagged the leaves so we have to either provide the bags and they would do what they could or pay a $35 dump fee to have the leaves hauled away. Came a week later and blew the leaves into piles and hauled away in a touch over 1 hour.

They arrived on time and performed the work as had been requested through the Big Deal.

The crew arrived within several days of my initial contact, completed the work efficiently, removed the grasses and cleaned up all debris. They exceeded my expectations.

Great job, everything looks wonderful. I'll be calling back in the spring for help with my draught-damaged lawn.

The experience went very well. Jenny, the employee who completes the assessment, really listened to me and asked me for my opinion. She provided me with two estimates, like I had asked; one estimate was for the regular landscaping and the other estimate was to install a fire/water feature. She’s willing to wait until the Spring and doesn’t pressure me into anything. She’s been patient with me, which says a lot! I’m planning on calling her in early February. Also, I was very concerned about my plants during a drought this summer, and Jenny came out to take a look. She assured me that they’re doing well. I’m going to use them for all of my landscaping since they’ve been so great to work with!

The service turned out to be great overall! We started our project in April, but then had to stop due to a water ban. We then resumed within the past two months, and I feel like Jenny, the employee we worked with, was very creative, professional, and diligent with following up on the project.

The whole experience from start to finish was awesome. Mr Franco was very professional and gave us the exact patio we were visioning. The workers were all very professional and worked on days that were in the upper 90's. They also cleaned up after themselves every day and did a wonderful landscape finish to the patio not just the patio itself. We will definately call them again if we feel the need. BRIAN and all of his crew are wonderful!

The patio is incredible! We love it and working with Jenny was very easy and professional. The sun sail didn't turn out ask promised but they are in the process of fixing it as I type this. They were very helpful and quick to fix the problem. We are very happy with them and would use them again.

I've had Franco Landscaping do several projects in my yard and they always do excellent work at a very fair price. There was some miscommunication on this project with one of their employees but once it came to the attention of Brian Franco, the owner, he immediately contacted me, apologized, and the remaining work was completed the same day. The work they did was once again excellent but I was most impressed with the responsiveness of the owner when a glitch occurred. I will not hesitate to utilize this company again for any landscaping work and wouldn't consider any other company when a need arises in the future.

All of the projects described above went very well. Brian Franco is very is to work with. He has great ideas for projects, but he always listens carefully to what you would like to do. The crews that he sends out to do the actual work are both thorough and polite. They are always careful and considerate of your property as they work. From start to finish, I would always give this company an "A" rating.

The soil turned out to be something other than what we expected. I called and explained the situation to him, and he removed the soil and replaced it with a more suitable soil of my choosing. They did a great job and they did it quickly and professionally. I would hire them again.

I was looking for a quote from Franco's Landscaping. I sent a email request through Angie's List, and Rodney Benson was the contact person from Franco's Landscaping that contacted me, very quickly--- within a couple hours!!!Rodney scheduled a time to come out and give me a quote on some landscaping. It took a week to receive my quote in the mail. When I received the quote, the quote was ''very vague'' and did not address the landscaping needs. I noticed when I was talking with Rodney, he really wasn't taking notes, and maybe he went straight to the truck later and filled out his notes, but the quote I received was reflective of the notes that he took-minimal. The quote came back with a spring clean-up and a mulch quote. I asked for two separate quotes on mulch, one mulching around the trees, and one mulching around our entire home and trees. I only received one quote. Also, it looks like this company charges a 3% surcharge for using a credit card, which it states in the contract. Not overly impressed, and did not chose this company for my landscaping needs.

They never responded to my request for a quote.

This company came out fairly quickly to clean out our old mulch and trip around the garden beds and trees and they did a fair job and it only took them probably 2 hours at the most. We wanted all the old mulch removed but they suggested leaving it. We didn't agree with that suggestion because the old mulch chips were not disintegrating we wanted it all removed and ended up doing some of this ourselves. Long story short, after about a month and 3 confirmed appointment dates all with no show and no call we decided to cancel any further landscaping service with this company. We know they are busy but would expect better customer service from a company like this.

We needed a retaining wall built next to our house which presented a problem; it was right next to two (2) maple trees whose roots would complicate the job for the contractor. We tried one contractor who agreed to do the job but continued putting off the work with one excuse after another for a full year! Then we ran across the Franco Landscaping web site with the Angie's List logo prominently displayed and decided to try them. What a difference! Brian Franco, the president of Franco Landscaping appeared to make the estimate for the job. He was dressed in a clean, pressed uniform in a vehicle that was equally clean and in new condition. I told him what I wanted and he discussed, in detail, what he proposed. I gave him free rein to do what he thought was best. He scheduled the job with the proviso that, because of the excessive rainy weather, there might be some delay. I approved and to my surprise his crew arrived ahead of schedule and worked on a day under less than ideal conditions. The job was completed in one (1) day and the area was cleaned before the men left. The wall is now standing and awaiting some hosta plants that will be located behind it. I’m very satisfied to finally have this troublesome job completed by some one who is clearly qualified to meet all challenges when it comes to landscaping.

They did a great job. They cleaned up all the mess before they left.

He’s actually my neighbor and I know him more from being a neighbor. His name is Brian Franco. I started using his services probably from 2009. I spent about $15000 on his services. I can’t remember exactly though. I will use his services again in the future.

We found Franco's estimate to be competitive and fair. They went above and beyond in their clean up of loose debris in the yard and surrounding deck areas after the work was done. All of the workers were pleasant and professional.

They are always responsive in regards to our lawn care and snow plowing.

From the first we found Brian and his team very friendly and easy to work with. I called them numerous times with additional questions and they were always courteous and helpful. They returned phone calls and e-mails promptly. The workmen showed up when they said they would be there. If they couldn't be there due to weather, they called to let me know they would not be there that day. The crew worked hard, cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous to myself and my neighbors. We had several things that came up during the project that we were unhappy with and once we shared our concern, the issues were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. Brian checked in regularly to see that we were happy with the project. Once the project was completed, Brian made an appointment with us to be sure we were satisfied with the work. Whenever they needed to meet with us, before we started work and at the completion, they were very accommodating of my husband's work schedule so that he could be at the meetings. We are extremely happy with our yard. Franco Landscaping was worth every cent we paid them! Many of our neighbors have stopped to comment on how nice our yard looks.

They came out on time, and followed up as promised. We didn’t hire them for any work, but that wasn’t because we were dissatisfied with anything. They seem to be a very professional company.
