Used a Big deal coupon for first 4 hours of work, then owner calculated a much highr price than I was told by lead worker on day of service.

They did the work quickly, there was no mess and another group returned the following day to pick up the large pieces of wood that could not be chipped. We will call them again if we have other work that needs to be done.

Same as above. My only advice is be ready to make changes and additions as you go. :)

They are quick and professional. The lawn always looked great. The deck and patio work was a big undertaking and the Franco teams were prompt and diligent. They finished the large job in the promised time. So quick that I got comments from neighbors who had work done and were amazed how fast ours was completed.

They were courteous, showed up on time, and did the work very well.

I purchased a "big deal" through Angie's list. They did an excellent job even though I got a bargain. I did have to wait a week longer than I would have preferred, it was still done in a timely manner.

They did a great job. I would use them again.

Cleaned up entire yard before the winter began. Very extensive cleaning of the flower beds, trimmed all the bushes and hedges. General cleaning to get ready for winter. Excellent service! Definitely recommend again.

I was not present when the physical work was done; however, I am satisfied with its outcome.

I used an Angie's List special to do a final fall clean-up of our yard. They met with me in advance of doing the work to determine what needed to be done and returned near the end of the season to be certain to get the last of the fall leaves. The yard looked great when they finished.

Overall we were very satisfied. We signed up for the big deal. They called us within a week. We scheduled a time to look at the job. They were pretty busy with the big deal response, but we got the job scheduled & done within a couple weeks. We left our gate unlocked, they did the job while we were at work. Other than the wheelbarrow and small additional section mishap, it went well.

Micha called after I'd bought the big deal. We made an appt and he was not only very punctual but he was also very personable. We discussed the job and arranged for the leaf removal to be taken care of in November. On November 1st, we looked out the back windows and there they were! The deal was for $99, and we were billed $35 for disposing of the leaves. We were happy with the job and arranged for their landscape designer to come over and talk to us about some projects for the spring. Jenny showed up on time and was just as personable and great to deal with. She sent proposals and we will make decisions in the spring. Very good company to deal with!

They contacted us to look at our yard and discuss with us what we'd like to have done. They sent an estimate of the work we discussed and came back a few weeks later to do the work. We didn't know they were going to come on the day they arrived, which would have been nice, but not essential. The yard looked great when they were done. Would definitely hire again.

As I stated above, Franco Landscaping removed the soil with the wood shavings & replaced it with a layer of top soil. They were very well organized and finished the job in just an hour.

I called. They came out to look at what needed to be done. They called with an estimate and we agreed to a day. They showed up. Did the work. Ask that I inspect it. Great communication. Great work.

Overall, I was satisfied. They did the work on a Saturday, and I didn't know they were coming, otherwise I would have been there; got there as they were finishing up. Had the chain saw guy return to cut some honeysuckle that they missed that was easy to get to. They cut about everything growing, even though some things shouldn't have been (leadwort and liriope, for example); if I had been there when they started, I could have directed the clearing and cutting. The leadwort will probably grow back, but it was blooming, so it was sad to see it go. And some things, like thistle, were cut when they should have been pulled or dug up. Clean up was not so hot: lots of cut up sticks left in the back yard, and wen they left, a lot of the leaves from the honeysuckle I had them cut last were left on the front 1/3 of the lawn. I was planning to rake them up, but a big wind moved all the neighborhood's leaves around, so there was no point. They saved me a lot of work, but it could have been finessed better, and if I had been there when they started, it would have been.

When the company rep came out to see what I wanted done, he said they would be back in a few weeks and would call first. Instead, they just showed up one morning. Fortunately for them, I was not working that day or they would have had to return because I wanted to be present when the work was being done. Nonetheless, I didn't appreciate the surprise arrival. I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for four man-hours of work. I later was billed for six man hours. Although I knew everything I wanted done might take a little extra time, I was surprised at the amount I had to pay over and above the Big Deal price. Aside from that, the quality of the work was good and the cleanup very thorough.

The company rep came to look at our yard and determined that the company could remove leaves and cuts the shrubs for the Big Deal price of $99. There was a very reasonable $35 charge to bag and remove all debris. The yard looked beautiful once the company was done.

There was a mishandling of the follow up quote on their end so that was delayed almost 3 weeks. I could the project mgr was busy and was giving priority to large jobs (mine not being one) ahead of mine but once they came out they did a good job.

It was a rough go; I had sent an email asking when they could come out. They answered with one date, and then never showed and never phoned. I scheduled again and they didn't show, didn't call. They did email me in response to my email and said they were backed up and had lots of work to catch up on. I threatened to call Angies List. They came out the week that I was on vacation. I had a house sitter. The yard and garden looked wonderful. Now that I know how things work, I'm ready to be flexible. It seems to me they should've called and told me they wouldn't be able to make it at their appointed time.

Franco rep visited my property as soon as I signed up for this through Angie's List so they could determine the extent of the work required in leaf removal. Once all leaves had fallen, I contacted them and they were there the next day to do the work. Was a great experience and I will use them again.

The initial plan was an Angie's list deal for 4 hours of fall yard clean up. Micah Cain contacted me and we set up a time for an estimate. He was on time, professional, took pictures of the plants and shrubs they would trim. We discussed additional projects that I would need to be done in the future. The first estimate I received was difficult to understand as it had one amount for all work and I requested that it be broken down by project so that I could budget and plan for work to be done over time. Mr. Cain was kiind and was able to add the detail that I needed.

Overall, I was very happy with the work done. The beds had become overtaken with clover and weeds and it was nice to get bushes trimmed and everything ready for spring. The supervisor was helpful and friendly. I plan to have more work done by them this spring.

I really hate to give any company a bad review, but we were very unhappy with our experience with Franco Landscaping. The person who came to give us an estimate was professional and friendly, but everything fell apart after that. We agreed on a price and a two-day window for the crew to come and do the job. The crew showed up a full week early, which didn't work for us as we were planning around a party and waiting for more leaves to fall from the trees. There was an obvious breakdown in communication between management and the crew. The crew was (understandably) unhappy that I asked them to come back another day. I explained in detail when we needed them to come and why. Then they returned to do the job and didn't complete the services we had agreed upon. Then they returned again DURING the party, and we had to turn them away again. On a fourth trip to the house, they finally completed the job as asked. But I will not use this company again. Even with the Angie's List deal we purchased for 4 man hours of leaf removal the price was too high. They also broke the gate to our back yard - leaving the gate opened without notifying me and our dog got out and was missing for half a day. Bad experience all around.
