I spent $40 on that work. They were very easy to work with and came out when they said they would. We liked them quite a bit.

I liked the reviews on Angie's List for Franco's, so called to set up an appointment. Was pleasantly surprised that they could send someone within the next several days, especially given summer had started. Both the call and visit happened by mid-June. I was against pleasantly surprised when the person providing the estimate was Brian Franco. He came with a professional brochure about his company, spent about 30 minutes with me on a hot day, measured, discussed options. He was professional, but warm. Seemed to listen very well. I always like a service person who shakes a woman's hand! He also gave me a rough idea how long it would be before someone could work on the deck -- and how much longer it would be for a patio (given the rain in spring. It was a common response from everyone I got a quote from.). He told me he'd have an estimate to me via email within 7 business days. He actually got the quote to me in about 2 business days, which really impressed...especially because it was taking forever to get responses and set-ups from the two other quotes. (I took one rec from Angie's List, one from a relative and one from a neighbor.) I couldn't make a decision until I heard from the other two providers -- which took a month in total. Brian was, by far, the most responsive. Between the online reviews and his demeanor, I felt completely confident he could do a good job for me. In fact, because so much time had passed, I contacted him to see when they were THEN available to work, just to compare the three in that regard. He called me back immediately, followed with a second call the next morning. (In the end, all three were available in 30-70 days.) In the end, his quote of about $6200, because he was certain it needed a complete re-build, was comparable to the other two quotes. His price was for cedar 12x12 with 2 benches and the steps. ( I was expecting quotes to be around $5000, which is why I gave price a "B." While I ultimately didn't choose Franco, I wouldn't hesitate calling them in the future. In the end, all things being equal, someone else became available (completely by fluke with a last-minute project timing change) immediately.

Although our scheduled annual trimming of hedge/shrubs occurred about a month after my wife scheduled it, once they showed up, they did an excellent, professional job of trimming the shrubs and hedges in our front and backyards. They hauled away all of the cuttings and cleaned up all other waste. The total cost was a real bargain, considering that we have a huge front & back yards.

I originally saw Franco landscaping at one of the home and garden shows. When we were ready to install patio, we received quotes from both prominent landscapers as well as less known firms. We found that Brian's quote was quite a bit less than others. In fact, one landscaper was shocked when I told him that he didn't earn the business because his price was not even in the ballpark. One of my main requirements was to have the job completed prior to June 6th, 2011 as we had out of town company staying with us. We scheduled approximately 2 months in advance. Even with the rainy spring weather we had, Brian was able to keep his commitment and deliver a finished product by my due date. The landscape team that arrived on location (led by Dan) was very professional and eager to please. I was worried that the adjustments we made would have been lost in translation but Dan listened to what I wanted and said "no problem". They arrived promptly every morning and cleaned up any mess they made prior to leaving for the day. Several neighbors had other landscapers build patios about the same time and Franco was able to do the job much faster than the others. In fact, I was quite surprised at how quickly the job was completed compared to my neighbors. With the speed of completion there was no evidence in any way that quality suffered. Dan and his team did a fantastic job. I would try to come home each day with enough time to talk to Dan about the days activities and what he was planning for the next day. While he was ready to go home, he spent the time with me which made me feel confident that everything was going as planned. Several times, Dan offered suggestions on ways he thought we could improve the look of the patio. This was great because I don't have the experience that his team had. I asked Dan to move the excavated dirt to a different location in my yard and build a mound so I could have 3 trees planted. I worked with Brian to get an updated quote that included the trees. Dan's team was able to get the trees planted at the same time so I didn't have to schedule another visit at a later time. In summary, I would highly recommend Franco Lanscaping. I found them to be honest, reliable, affordable and deliver a quality product.

They were very creative as far as their designs, but they were too expensive for what we were looking for. They were very timely and very professional. They had great ideas. Their designs were exquisite. We are planning to sell our house and so we didn’t want to put a lot of money into landscaping.

Our lawn was severely damaged by drought of last summer. We had few estimates from different companies. Some of them suggested essentially replacing the lawn, putting irrigation, etc. Franco (Rodney) provided the most reasonable suggestions. They came on time for both estimate and for the job. Our yard looks much better now. We terminated service with our previous provider and signed service agreement with Franco.

James and his crew were great! They were on time, did a fabulous job. We are very pleased with their professionlism and the price was good. We would highly recommend them. Thanks Franco.

I had Franco's come out for an estimate on some hardscaping in my backyard. They were timely, professional and came in with a very reasonable quote. I ultimately went with someone else because of time constraints, but I would recommend Franco's to anyone looking for a fair quote

They make prompt decision. When they come, they don't disturb us. Their price is high but I don't know about the market. My husband pays them so I don't know how much is the price. I would use them in the future.

We have been using them for over a year. We have definitely enjoyed their services. They are very clear concerning the service itself. For example, for snow removal, it is very clear in their contract how much everything will cost even down to the inch. They are very professional.

He is fairly priced. He is friendly and easy to work with. We have no complaints! Our yard always looks great because of what he does. He guarantees all of his work.

Franco Landscaping did a terrific job. The staff were very knowledgeable and professional. Moving the tiki bar was a little scary, but they accomplished it without any problems. They cleaned up the area each night before they left and they re-used as much of our old landscaping (i.e. pavers, trees, plants) as possible which helped with the price. They also left detailed instructions on how to care for the new plants and the re-seeded lawn. Given the drought we have had this summer, the instructions were very valuable. I only gave the price a B because some of the work, such as adding a step on the deck and putting in a drain, ended up being a bit more expensive when the bill arrived than what had been told to me at the time the job was being done. Franco is an excellent company and I would recommend them to anyone.

See above. I paid 2700.00 and had a balance of 890.00 and had 30 days to pay the remainder. When the problems showed up I called and was told someone would come out and that because it was so moist thus the reason for the weeds. I said I paid 750.00 for weed control and the weeds are back. Frankly it does not even look like I had any work done.

They do good work and I have had no complaints.

They are very punctual, nice and pleasant to work with. If you have a problem they will come right out to take care of it. We have used Brian for about 17 years.

I think they did a fine job. They were conscientious in having supervisors check on the job. They checked to make sure they were doing what we asked them to do.

The design was good. Franco Landscaping bid the work and they were much higher than the other bids I got. I did modify the plan and I hired someone else to do the work.

They are good. They do come when they say they are going to come.

They did a great job. The workers were very good and they got it done in 3 days, they thought it would take about 4. They cleaned up everything and we were very happy with the work. Brian came when they were all finished to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. We did get about 5-6 quotes and they were right in the middle. The work they did was well worth the price we paid.

I thought they did an excellent job. It looks beautiful. We would use them again.
