Came & sprayed the outside

We have had a problem with carpenter (bumble) bees drilling holes in the woodwork around the outside of our home. He showed me how to identify when a new hole is being drilled. He treated all existing holes he could find. We have found a lot of dead carpenter bees since his visit.

I called in to their main line and was answered by a lady who took my information and service requested and promised a follow up from Darnell to scheduled when he was in the area. We are selling our house and this was a requested service we agreed to perform for our buyer. Darnell called the next day and was able to squeeze me in a day or 2 later because I thought I needed to be home but he assured me that there would be no need as he will call me with his findings. This made it very convenient for me to not have to take off work and our evenings are very busy! Darnell called and explained the situation and was able to honor their Angie's List Deal to treat the areas as well as spray preventative all around the exterior of the home. Just as important, he was able to find that they were probably migrating from our neighbor's house where he found several more stains and holes on the trim. He asked that I call in to the office the next morning for payment (ask for Stephanie, she's great) and promised she would email me an invoice receipt to explain worked performed so I could present this to our buyers. From start to finish this was smooth and easy and they fulfilled my every request. I will be using them in our new home when such services are needed again!

I would like them to provide more detail work and spread solution into siding and any area might have bee or wasp. But looked like they just spread in some areas on the surface.

Fike's representative, showed up on time , was polite and friendly and explained what he was looking for. He found evidence of mouse activity and places several traps around the house both in and out. He explained the traps and how they worked. It is nice to know that if one of our pets gets a hold of one the mice killed by Fike's bait, they won't be harmed.

Hire the small guys; don't use the big companies. These guys were so professional and appreciative of my business. The tech was timely and gave me his personal cell number to call if I have problems. I love supporting these companies. Their price is comparable to other providers. Service is much better.

It went great. The team was super responsive on Angie's List and able to take care of my service same day and after one phone call. Hassle free and my home is free and clear of stinging insects. Confident I won't have issues this summer.

While in the process of having some rotten siding removed from my home, carpenter ants were discovered. Checking Angie's List for an exterminator, I found Fike's, called them with my dilemma, needed service ASAP, before siding was to be replaced. Stephanie, in the office, was wonderful. She had Lee, the exterminator, here within 2 hours. He was very professional. I would hire this company again if needed. A very happy customer.

This provider didn’t show for the first apt. I had to call him to make a second appointment. He did come out get the job done after being called.

I called and received same day service! They set up a time of arrival between 4-5 pm, and arrived closer to 5pm. The tech, Lee, was very professional. I walked him through house and showed him the problem areas. He spent approximately one hour in the home identifying and treating the problem areas. He also treated the garage, which is attached to our home as well as the outside perimeter of the house. He thought if we gave the problem about a week, but to call back after if it wasn't resolved by then and they could come back out. I wasn't overly optimistic because it was a pretty active ant problem so I figured we would still see them for few days; however, I have not seen an ant since he left my house! I will say was a little concerned after reading the reviews because the services were for mostly for bees or hornets, not ants, but couldn't be happier with this investment so in case anyone else is concerned, they are great for troubleshooting and treating ant problems!

We got in contact with them, they came out and did their thing and took care of our yellow jacket issue. Offered to come back, if it was not handled correctly the first time.

It worked out great. My wife is very pleased with the service. They also removed a hornet’s nest in a location we could not reach, and that was appreciated.

We had some very aggressive hornets in our backyard. He sprayed the nest multiple times and treated it so any hornets returning to the nest would die too. He also sprayed our attic and made some suggestions on how to prevent further problems. Gave me his cell number and told us to call if we had anymore hornet problems and he would return (free of charge) to take care of it.

We purchased a special deal from Angie's List. Fikes quickly contacted us to set-up the appointment. The tech showed up on time. He did a thorough walk around the house. Explaining how the bait worked was a big plus. He told us the mice would leave the house looking for water. To not plug the entry points until after the bait worked. The mice are gone. The house is plugged.

I called the guy and he came one time in the winter. They did a good job. There were no additional fees associated with the deal. I called them back a few weeks later because I still had some bugs. They came back and sprayed another time.

It seemed to help, but did not solve the problem. However, that is not the fault of the provider. There is just an issue in this part of the city.

The gentleman answered all my questions. Very polite.

My interactions with the company were very pleasant and professional. I was able to correspond with the company via the Message Center and by phone with ease. They fogged my yard three times, when the the deal stated they would only do it twice. They gave some friendly tips on a hornet nest I also had at the front of the property. I would use these folks again if I have further pest issues!

The original appt was changed due to weather (unable to provide exterior service because of the rain) in October to a date in November. Apparently, the company changed appt system in esrly November and my appr didn't change over to the new system. I had to call the office to find out why the tech was almost an hour late. the office immediately call the tech and he was at my home within 45 mins. He was very apologetic about the situation. He was very professional and answered all my questions.

Still no ants and this is the first winter in years this has been so. Rodents ( mice) did not penetrate through to the house. Feeding, was confined to the garage so they fed and left and died. I hate to be jubilant about something dying but quite simply, mice can exist outside but not inside our home. Thank you Fikes and another special shout out to Darnell !!!!!

The guy came out and informed me that they couldn't remove the squirell or chipmunks in my property. They told me that the only rodents they can remove are mice and rats. When I asked them about the fine print, they blamed Angie's List by not putting the order properly.

It went phenomenal! The service was great. They were on time and came and did exactly what they said they would do. The results were exactly what I expected and I was very pleased. I will use them again.

They called a second time on the 4th of November, 2014 and left a voice message to schedule an appointment. I signed up for the Big Deal to treat for ants that appeared in January in the kitchen, however I've changed my mind and will treat myself.
