We had ants. they got rid of the small ants right away. They said the carpenter ants might take longer. The price was good. They were very prompt and professional. I thought they were very good.

Everything went great. Darnell went the extra mile for us to make sure we were taken care of. Made some suggestions about concerns we had, explained everything along the way, and since his visit we haven't seen a single ant. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially Darnell, because you can pay someone top dollar to accomplish a job but you can't pay for a great customer experience. That's what we received from hiring Fikes, and I'm sure that's what a vast majority of their other clients feel the same. Also, if this review gets to Darnell, I wish you well with the home search!

The whole experience was terrific! Our technician Dave was friendly, very professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he was spraying, how it worked and what we should expect. His straight forward approach was quite refreshing and there was no hard sell of anything. We signed up for a full year of treatments and will likely continue to do so as long as we are in this house. We would recommend this company to everyone!

I had adopted a rescue pet and had fleas potentially in the house. Fikes was really good about setting the appointment, being on time and professional. The technician, however, sprayed laminate flooring and I had to mop it to keep from damaging it, which was very slippery and challenging. This is just a training issue. He was polite and thorough in his treatments and mindful of the pets in the house. It was successful in ridding the house of fleas and they worked within my budget. Last spring they exterminated ants - very successful!! I've only had this home for one year and never had ants before, so I was quite disturbed and they came out quickly. You don't see that level of responsiveness much anymore.

I think it went well. After the first treatment, I've noticed fewer webs covering my windows and doors.

The gentleman came when expected, was professional and worked quickly to remove the nest.

Very impressed. Called late on a Friday hoping to arrange something the following week. Got a call back in 20 minutes, and someone was on their way. Dave showed up a short time later. Assessed the problem. Thoroughly explained what he was doing. Took care of the problem, and I haven't seen a yellow jacket since. Never expected to get it taken care of same day!

Went fine. Technician showed up as scheduled and was very helpful talking to me. He didn't think he could do a lot for the carpenter ants that I was concerned about, but proceeded to do what he could. I might have to look into other options as I thought this was something they could do and must have misunderstood.

I contacted the company through their website and received a call in the same day. I spoke with Stephanie who collected information about where the wasps nests were and how many. She explained the treatment process and provided a cost range ($165-185). I accepted the estimate, and she forwarded my information along to the technician who, she advised, would call me later that day or in the morning. Dave, the technician, called me later that day and was able to schedule the appointment for the next day. He worked around my availability with a 2 hour window (2-4pm) and said he'd call me before heading over to my house, which he did. He showed up shortly after 2pm and quickly went to work letting me know he'd call my phone when he's done. (Great! Because I didn't want to be near any wasps...) He had to remove two window screens to access the wasp nests but placed them back on the windows when finished. He removed the nests and sprayed a preventative powder in all windows. It was rather quick. Afterwards, he explained that I shouldn't have a problem the rest of the season. He also explained how wasps choose nesting spots and that I'll probably notice some worker wasps buzzing around the window looking for the nest but the preventative powder will take care of them.

I could not have been more pleased with this experience. Dave from Fikes called me within minutes, and was at our home within 4 hours! Service was prompt, exact, and polite. I have used several pest control services from various organizations in the past. I will be a Fikes client from now on!

I purchased a pest extermination deal on Angies List on a Friday afternoon. I was surprised they called me right away and were at my house within a couple of hours. They were wonderful to work with and I couldn't have expected it to be faster.

We purchased the stinging insect proofing deal on Angie's List, and within 3 business days, we had someone come out and spray our property. He was on time and was very nice, explained how it works and what to expect. We were having so many wasps around our house to the point where we could not be outside. It made such a huge difference that we are now able to enjoy the warm/hot weather. Highly recommended.
