Fikes Pest Control

There were too many scheduling issues and conflicts. We tried to schedule twice. We finally set the last time for between 9-11 on Tuesday, November 4 - the person didn't call or show during that time frame while I was waiting to go to work. I've since gone with another company to perform my service.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was okay. Their service was standard, nothing stood out. My interaction with them was fine. It took them a while to get back to me after buying the deal, but after that it was fine. They came out, did the service and everything was fine.

All were gone a day later and have not come back. Very pleased.

I purchased a Big Deal for the removal of a hornet's nest. Once I called to schedule the appointment, Fike's told me the Big Deal was not applicable for hornet's nest removal, but provided me a discounted price for the removal since I had already purchased the Big Deal. They assigned someone to come out the next day to remove the nest. We were unable to be home, but the technician called me to tell me he was coming and was very professional. Would recommend Fike's to anyone!

Lee was our technician and he was great at answering all my questions beforehand. He explained in great detail how he was going to treat the mosquitos and the ants. The mosquitos had been pretty bad this summer and even though the city had been up and down the streets to spray, we didn't notice a difference. But once Lee had sprayed, we could finally be outside and enjoy the outdoors. I will definately have him come out again next year. His treatment also got rid of the pesky ants we had in our kitchen. I had tried getting rid of them myself for about a month with no luck. I haven't seen an ant since Lee came out.

Fikes Pest Control did an amazing job addressing my concern about a very large hornet's nest which was connected to my home. I called that morning and they had a representative (Darnell) out that afternoon and took care of the problem very professionally. As we have small children that play outside often and given the location of the nest they went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of the problem. Will definitely use Fikes for all my future pest-control problems around my home.

Due to cold winter, did not have problem again so have not needed the second visit. Would not buy deal again

It went great and the bees are all gone. Not sure why we waited so long to have a professional do the job. Would use then again in a heart beat. The professional spray that we purchased at Lowes, Home Depot, Myers, online, and garden nurseries never got rid of the bees. Every summer we sprayed every day, three four times, in the morning afternoon, evening, we swept up the dead bees on the porch, we tried to close up the hole in the roof, where they were coming from, nothing worked. I made numerous trip to the emergency room, since i am allergic to bee stings. The bees are gone, but we are now left with 10 cans of useless wasp bee spray. If you have bees or wasps, don't wait, just hire these guys.

It went well. They contacted me very quickly and able to get an apt next day. He came between the hours stated and gave me a 30 min warning call. He was polite & professional.

All the recent rain kept the spray from being as effective and I noticed one of the carpenter ant nests next to our foundation was pretty healthy looking still two weeks later. I called and they are planning to return once it looks like we have a couple dry days to allow insecticides to work more thoroughly. I am happy that they are honoring their warranty to continue to treat until problem is corrected and understand that all the recent rain has kept initial treatment from being as effective..

Service was great and we can now enjoy our back yard without the fear of being eaten. Thanks!

We first called them a couple years ago with an ant problem. They came out the first time we had available and did a very thorough job, explaining what they were doing and how it was going to control our ant problem. We signed up for a maintenance plan with them and they've done a great job ever since - no more ants or spiders in the basement.

called before arriving. Arrived on time. He was very personable. Asked about the issues we were having and where. Explained what he was going to do and that if was kid and animal safe (we have several kids/dogs). left his phone number for followup in case we still had issues.

They were really good! They were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. My ant problem has been resolved and I've not had any problems since. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to others. I was very comfortable having the service person in my home.

So far they have done everything I have asked them to do. They are very courteous and professional. They were quick to responsive. They are also very prompt and the service has been effective. The scheduling was very easy, as well.

I did a separate deal with them for bed bug treatment. They set up a heat tent on my coach and other furniture and sprayed. They will be coming back to spray again. The bugs do seem to be gone at this point. So far the service has worked out fine. 6 months later A few bedbugs did come back a couple months later. Rather than have Fikes deal with them again at what I perceive to be extreme cost, I bought bedbug killing sprays myself and applied. So far so good. we have been pleased with the standard bug issues like ants and spiders but the bedbugs, which I picked up on a business trip to san Francisco, have been an ongoing problem even with Fikes service.

Great experience! Called three of your A rated contractors for pest control. All responded right away. Fikes seemed to have the best price for a one time visit. We talked on 1 23, they arrived here on 1 24, and the problem is solved. Very friendly technician (Brian) who spent time explaining about various ant species and what can be done to eliminate them, then spent time to "chat" also about other things. He also gave us info about other services they provide which we will consider once chipmunk season is back. (:

The young man, Anthony, was prompt, courteous. He acknowledged he was new on the job and didn't seem to know what to do if the treatment didn't work. The problem is not fixed and though I asked to talk to his supervisor at one point, I never received the call. He indicated I would have to spend more money but never offered a different treatment plan. I intend to call the manager to try to get this resolved.
