Factory Direct

My entire dealings with Factory Direct could not have gone any better. Everything about the company exuded professionalism and courtesy and ease. I was first impressed with how easy I was able to schedule my own appointment online via their website and how a friendly woman called to confirm the appointment time. Even though the date was marked in my calendar, it was nice to get a reminder call just in case! From there the consultant that came to my home was extremely nice and helpful and really listened to what I wanted in my new windows and from there gave me suggestions on the best windows that fit my needs and budget. We decided to do the financing option and once again I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and fast everything was done. I literally was approved in 20 minutes. Once it was time for my windows to be installed, the theme of professionalism and great customer service continued as the installers were also fantastic. They took the time to explain the process and answered all of my questions happily. They left my property as perfect as they found it and cleaned up thoroughly. I truly could not be happier with the outcome of my 9 windows and sliding patio door and I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone in the Indianapolis area looking for great windows and great prices!

The whole experience from start to finish was a great one! Factory Direct has been such a pleasure to do business with. I felt that the sales person that came to my home really had my best interests in mind and sincerely listened to my concerns and needs and guided me with their expertise. In the past when dealing with some other home improvement companies, I felt pressured to buy rather than being consulted with, so I especially appreciated the time that my salesperson took with me. Also, I felt their prices were better than most other window companies I looked in to and upon learning about their master installers with over 30 years of experience, I knew they would do a great job. I was right to trust them! My windows look phenomenal!!!

We are doing a complete remodel of our home and so I have dealt with a variety of different home improvement companies. I was expecting a "hard sell" or pressured sales pitch, since I encountered so much of that already, however I was surprised that Factory Direct was not like that at all. I did my due diligence and shopped around. Since we are doing many things to our home, it is essential that I do my homework and get a great price that fits into our overall home renovation budget. When I was ready I went back to them. They were as friendly and helpful as could be and not bothered at all that it took me roughly 3 weeks to make my decision to go with them. Everything about my energy efficient windows are perfect and my house is well on its way to being perfect too. I am happy this Indianapolis based window company turned out to be as great as advertised to be!

Our overall experience with Factory Direct was a great one. The installers and the window consultant that first came to our home were extremely informational and had a friendly demeanor. The windows, several months later are doing fantastic. Just the other night our neighbors had a party with loud music. The minute I shut the windows, I couldn't hear nothing at all. I am looking forward to experience the difference this winter when it's below 0 degrees.

The young gentleman that came to our home did a good job explaining everything about the new windows we were buying, which was very much appreciated. The installers that came were also very nice guys and you could quickly tell they were very good installers that were pro's. I did wish the project would have started earlier in the day to ensure it would be finished before it got dark. However, I am still pleased with everything they did. A+

The service from start to finish with Factory Direct has been great. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. The thing we appreciated most was when we changed our minds to do 11 windows rather than all 20, they were very understanding and didn't pressure us. Our consultant was extremely cooperative and made the necessary changes easy and immediately. We absolutely plan on getting the other half of our windows replaced next spring through Factory Direct.

We are very pleased with the services Factory Direct has performed for us. Case in point, we have now used them twice. Even though there was a slight hiccup with the installation time, a miscommunication between the sales person and the installers, I am beyond happy with my windows. I give Factory Direct an A+, they are awesome and very nice to work with!

The entire installation of my windows went amazingly well! I was extremely surprised at how different it was when holding my hand up to the glass of our old windows compared to the glass of our new windows. The glass on our door was so hot you could cook on it, not the case with the new one. Overall, I am extremely happy and would recommend Factory Direct to anyone looking for windows and doors. Factory Direct did a very fine job! The installer missed a small area where the window needed to be caulked and when I called they came back out immediately to take care of it. It was an honest mistake that anyone could have made. I am very pleased with my windows and the service of Factory Direct. A++

I am real happy with how the windows turned out and the final price that we paid. I will be wanting Factory Direct to come out again soon for more improvement and more windows in the future. Our home looks really good and the installers did very well! I researched over 5 window companies and Factory Direct carried the exact same windows of each of those companies. There was a small crack in the glass of one of the windows that we noticed. Factory Direct replaced it with in a week. We love it when a company does good business and takes care any issue that comes up. The installer were very nice and friendly and they provided us with super service. From start to finish Factory Direct did a great job! The price was wonderful and quality just couldn't be beat. We know the window manufacturer has a great warranty due to the fact we have already had to call them once for the cracked glass and they came right out took care of the window. We've also noticed a big difference in sound reduction as well. Super job!!!

Our consultant that came out was very nice and knowledgable. The installer was friendly and had a lot of experience. They cleaned up very well after they were finished. We can already tell a huge difference. The heat was kept out over the summer. Before the AC would kick on and off a lot and now is it's much less than usual.

The consultant was very knowledgable and the installers were excellent. They explained everything that they would do thouroughly and they were also very friendly. Love my new windows!

Overall the entire project was great. Wonderful consultant & installers. Our sliding door was a difficult one (never sat flush) but Factory Direct installers were able to correct the issue & install the patio door perfectly. What a difference, very happy with the price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. Recommended to two co-workers.

All the reviews that actually had services performed by Factory Direct were all A+ reviews. We also compared price and quality, Factory Direct beat every company out there hands down when came to price and quality. The only company that even came close was company that only offered one type of windows and they a had a B rating here on Angie's List. The other big deciding factor was the vast variety of different windows manufacturers that they had available. The installation of new went really well, Mike and Tim installed them and we found out Mike has over 30 years experience installing windows. You could tell a huge difference between our windows and our neighbors when it came to craftsmanship these guys took their time. We got exactly what we wanted!

The representative was knowledgable and helpful as well as the professionalism from the installers. They answered any questions that I had along the way. The installers also took the time to explain the details of how the windows work as well as explained how to use and get the most out of the warranty if needed. I'm very Impressed! I would use Factory Direct again and recommend them to anyone looking to replace windows. The over all experience was an A+!

Installers were very polite, answered all my questions. Everyone was very professional and I can't say enough great things about them. Most importantly they cleaned up and the new windows look great! Very professional!

They advertised a deal for 7 windows completely installed with Argon and free marble window sills. When they got here and preformed the estimate there price doubled and then,the free window that they advertised for a garden window would not work in my house, because it had to be a particular size. I gave them $1600 upfront as down payment in cash. I canceled the order last week and they told me a it would take a month to get my money back. UPDATE: They got in contact with me on Tuesday and explained that it will be another 2 weeks for me to get my refund he did mention it could take up to 30 business days normally but they are going to get it to me within the 2 weeks. They said I would have to come up to their offices to sign off to get the refund check rather then them sending it in the mail. I have the ad still and what they responded was not what the ad states. UPDATE 2 I spoke with Nathan from Factory Direct who informed me that the refund would take 30 business days to get to me. When I mentioned to him I was disabled and the process would be difficult for me, I was told by the rep that "I'm glad you're disabled", he then hung up on me.

The installers were extremely nice, professional, and very clean. We are very happy with our choice of windows and Factory Direct. Dave, the office manager took really good care of us and helped us along the way throughout the entire process. They had the best price and products out of all the companies that we looked at, and showed a willingness to beat any quote that we gave them. Great experience here and we would use Factory Direct again in the future.
