Factory Direct

I felt like they really didn't want the work. Maybe my house wasn't big and fancy enough for their business.

I was pleased with the service Factory Direct provided to me and my family. The young man that came to my home was very polite and friendly. He was very informational and helpful when consulting me on what windows to choose. The installation crew was a father and son team that were not only very nice but they knew their craft well. You could tell they were pros. Overall, I am happy with the price I paid and all the people from Factory Direct I dealt with. They even called recently (two weeks) after the installation of my windows to ensure all was well and I was 110% happy with everything. I would absolutely use this company again.

The entire process from the beginning to the very end was very smooth. Factory Direct worked hard every step of the way. They were able to accommodate my somewhat difficult schedule when it came to scheduling the no pressure estimate. They also worked hard to give me various options, all while staying within my budget. The installation crew was also excellent and I am more than satisfied with the job and service Factory Direct provided.

Everything from start to finish with Factory Direct was fantastic. The guy that came to my home initially took his time explaining all my options and I never felt rushed or that any question I asked was irrelevant. He was not only informative but also very nice. Also, the installers that came that day were extremely helpful and they took their job serious. They were on time and worked efficiently as a team. In the end, the price I paid for the service I received was wonderful. I couldn't have been more pleased.

It was great! The installers did an excellent job! From start to finish the consultant helped us with every option. The installers arrived 10 minutes late, but made for that with with attention to detail on the installation of our new windows. The windows look beautiful, it really has made a big difference. The energy performance is also a big plus along with sound reduction. The installers that came out had over 30 years of experience and were nice guys. They also cleaned up very well... A+ here!

Cancelled apt after speaking to a rep, who had contacted me wanting to get specific details about the scope of the project. I told him I was interested in the Series 100 by Andersen (he referred to is at the Series 1000) in a casement, in a bronze exterior. I added I was intrigued as to the fit of the window as it is but 3-1/4" wide, but Andersen does specifically state it can be used as a replacement. He told me that if that's the window I was interested in, in that color, in a casement I was looking at a minimum of $800 per window. I was told that double hung are much more common, and less expensive but that casements are just "so expensive". It seemed apparent there really wasn't any interest in working with me to find a solution for my project. I advised the representative if that was the price on this product, we can just cancel the appointment, which they did via email immediately after our call. Not sure what happened between the time I set up the appointment last week and the call this morning, but I was very disappointed by the obvious lack of interest in our situation and lack of product knowledge in the Series 100 window. Makes me think that while they do represent a large number of manufacturers, they're really only interested in selling double hung windows.

Everything went great. We had a very nice young man that came to our home to conduct the initial window consultation and he did a great job as he was very polite and explained all of my window options in fine detail. A few weeks later when my windows were ready to be installed, the installation crew came out. They were on time, very friendly, and left my home in perfect condition. Even after the job of replacing my windows was completed, I appreciated the fact that Factory Direct called 1 week later to make sure I was 100% happy with everything. They truly care about giving great customer service. I am now looking for doors and plan on using this same company.

Factory Direct's manager called me an hour before our scheduled estimate appointment to let me know the person assigned to handle my estimate had to meet with a couple who were ready to order their windows. So, the manager would be covering the estimate and would arrive at the originally scheduled time, 11:30 am. When he had not arrived at noon, I called the Factory Direct office and was advised the manager would contact me soon. The manager called back and said he was delayed with customers but would arrive in about 25 minutes. I had a 1:15 pm appointment with another window company, but agreed for him to come ahead. He arrived about 12:45 pm and I explained I had another appointment at 1:15 pm. After speaking for about 3 minutes, the manager's phone rang and he excused himself to take the "important" call in his car. After another 5-7 minutes, I went to his car and told him I was not impressed and he could go ahead and leave. He offered to do a quick estimate and said the call was "important". I declined and he offered an estimate for the next day, Saturday 7-2-16. I declined. Very unprofessional experience.

Everything was very easy with Factory Direct. They have a very informational website that made it easy to narrow down what type of windows I wanted. The sales fellow that came out was friendly and I was pleased that the financing part was quick and simple. We are very happy with our purchase.

I was very impressed with everything that Factory Direct showed me during my initial consultation. I was surprised with how many great options I had. Best of all, I felt my installer Howard was fantastic. He completed the entire project himself and did a phenomenal job. He was very friendly too. I would recommend this company to anyone looking and would use them again in a heartbeat.

The installation of my windows went well. The installers that completed the work were very friendly and did a very fine job. I would give Factory Direct an A-. The only reason I give them an A- instead of an A+ is because there was one small miscommunication regarding the time of installation. I had a schedule change and told my salesperson I wouldn't be available until after 1:30 but unfortunately the information wasn't told to the installers on time and they showed up early. In the end, all was fine and they waited for me to get home to start the work. I understand sometimes things happen and if this was the worst of it, that's not too bad. I plan on using Factory Direct again for the rest of my windows and would recommend them to anyone looking.

The installers were really clean and friendly and the sales person that came out was also friendly and very informative and helpful. We would recommend this company to anyone looking for a good product, good price, and great customer service.

Overall, everything went extremely well. The process of choosing the right window was easy and quick and the professionalism of the installers was outstanding. I would buy from Factory Direct again when the need arises and I would refer anyone that needed their windows or patio doors replaced to choose them. Happy to have found a very good local Indianapolis company.

The date of our install was pushed out a few days due to weather but I was pleased with how well Factory Direct communicated this issue with me and worked hard to keep me in the loop as to when they would be able to start and complete the job. My mother-in-law was the one who was there during the installation and she had all great things to say about their installers. She stated they were punctual, friendly, and attentive. We are extremely happy with the look of our windows and everyone we dealt with at Factory Direct.

The installation of my windows went well. The guy who first came out and the installation crew were prompt and professional. One issue that happened was one of the windows was delivered with a small crack. We were unsure if this happened in transit or what exactly however Factory Direct immediately took care of rectifying the situation. They rushed a new window to be ordered and scheduled the installation of it ASAP. I understand that sometimes things happen and although the entire project didn't go flawlessly, what I appreciated most was how quickly they took care of everything. We love everything about our new windows and am more than satisfied with the experience.

Everything went smoothly dealing with Factory Direct. I felt they were very accommodating and friendly and was pleased that they answered every question I had happily. I never felt pressured into buying and when I needed to take my time to make my decision they were fine with that too. All of my windows look great and my home actually looks like a different home because of the superb job the installers did.

They came out to do an estimate, he was professional and gave a detailed explanation and demonstration of the windows. I picked them to do the work and we scheduled the install. The installers were very professional and did an excellent job. The windows look great. I'm very pleased with this experience. I will use them in the future.

They didn't come out until the 15th. They re-framed some of the windows, broke the vapor barrier and filled in with foam. The windows are not uniform and other than caulking, there is no waterproofing. During install they blew plaster dust throughout my home and refused to clean it up

Although this review is only for the estimate, my wife and I wanted to share our experience with Angie's List members. We had to cancel our original appointment for Friday, received a call from Dave Raymond that evening to reschedule for Saturday. From the moment we met Dave, our experience with him was nothing less than a pleasure. He answered all of our questions and left us with a detailed written estimate.
