I couldn’t be more dissatisfied. Our work was completed in 2021. At the time there was mildew/mold on the concrete block walls and our sales person said it would be cleaned as part of the process. This wasn’t done, and part the process involves them drilling into the walls to attach plastic sheeting over the walls from about chest down.this is permanent . As a result, I can’t even clean my own walls without undoing their work. My basement has continued to be an issue, with mold continuing to grow in the cracks and crevices. On top of all that, this was an over 18k expense for this. We were told that it would have a lifetime warranty—-that’s only if you pay every year to warranty the work. If you miss the letter to pay for your warranty, then the next year you’ll first be subject to an inspection on their poor work and extra fees before you can have the privilege of paying for the future warranty. In short, just know that the salesman will tell you what he thinks you need to hear to sign the papers.”, but 18k later, don’t expect it to be true.

Scope of project: installation of EverDry’s multi-step waterproofing system consisting of an inside and outside perimeter drain, two sump pits with primary and secondary pumps with battery backup, sealing of cracks and other potential water entry points around the exterior of home, and installation of 14 steel beams to stabilize bowing exterior basement walls. Now that the project is complete, I am not certain that it was necessary or that it will solve the problem. If your home has any foundation issues (bowing, crumbling, and/or cracked walls, footers etc), I do NOT recommend engaging EverDry to remedy. I regret signing the contract with EverDry and wish that I had consulted with licensed structural engineer regarding the structural foundation issues. Some basement waterproofing companies are owned/operated by licensed engineers. EverDry, to my knowledge, is not. I DO believe that the waterproofing system will work. However, their “multi-step system” in my opinion, does not offer any significant advantage vs. other basement waterproofing systems. Please be careful, the salesperson will explain their system and it will seem to make perfect sense at the time. However, I urge you to take plenty of time to weigh your options before signing anything. Aside from the necessity and efficacy of the system installed at my home, I experienced numerous issues with the work performed, the communication from EverDry, the clean-up (or lack thereof), and the timeline. I was told by the salesperson that this was a 4–5-day job. They began work on 7/27/2021 and finished on 8/24/2021. 1. The crew did not adequately protect my flooring at the top of my basement stairs, despite my asking them to do this at least three times. They ignored my request until I refused to allow them to carry another item into or out of the house until they had put down floor protection. By that time, the flooring was already damaged. EverDry did discount my contract price by $500 as compensation for this. 2. The crew installed the EZ Breathe device in the wrong location. I had discussed placement with the salesperson. That information was not communicated to the production team. This mistake added quite a bit of time to the project as a mason had to be called to repair the 6-inch hole drilled through the side of my home in the wrong place. 3. The steel beams were cut too short by the steel supplier. Instead of telling me this, the crew “installed” them anyway. They placed scraps of untreated 2x4 lumber on the footer, then placed the steel beams on top of those scraps. When I noticed this on my own and questioned the crew leader. I was told that this was “temporary”, and they planned on laying the drainpipe, installing the new concrete, then returning later to jackhammer the brand-new concrete around the steel beams and replace them with ones of the correct length. This, in my opinion, was a something said to appease me. I do not believe they had any intention of coming back to replace the beams. Even if that was their intent, this would be an incredibly ridiculous and inefficient workaround. At that point, I asked them to stop all work and come back when they had the correct beams. This also added to the timeline of the project. 4. The crew also installed several beams directly in front of my basement windows. I cannot fathom that this would be acceptable to any customer. To me, this was a further demonstration of the carelessness of the crew performing the work. 5. At some point the plastic that they had loosely draped over my furniture and belongings in the basement slipped off. They continued to work without replacing it. Every item that was in my basement was entirely coated with cement dust by the end of the project. Every wall, door, banister, piece of trim, and even some areas of the ceiling had to be scrubbed after the crew cleaned up. It took a team of 5 adults approximately 8 hours to properly clean the basement after the project was finished. This was AFTER the crew’s “cleanup”. 6. The crew failed to install the battery backup systems on both sump pumps which necessitated a follow-up service visit. 7. The crew helped themselves to my tools which were stored in the basement. They also took a few of my tools with them when they left. 8. The crew leader asked me to sign a certificate of completion before the job was completed. I refused to do so. 9. I was never offered an apology or any sort of compensation for the many missteps, the lack of communication, or the inconvenience of having my house torn apart for nearly a month. 10. The crew took ZERO precautions against Covid-19 infection. Not a single member of the crew wore a mask at any point. I was not asked if this was ok or not. Covid was never mentioned. Conclusion – I urge you to not make the same mistake as me. Thoroughly research multiple waterproofing companies. Do not give-in to any sales tactics that purport a sense of urgency to sign a contract in exchange for a discount. If you have structural issues, hire an engineer. If you do decide to use EverDry, make certain that your TOTALLY clear on your expectations of the timing of the work, placement of the EZ Breathe unit, beams, sump pits, etc. BEFORE any work begins. Looking back, I would have also requested a daily walk-through with a production manager (not the crew leader) at the end of each workday. The crew leader on my job, in my opinion did not have the necessary training or knowledge to supervise this job. There are MANY options for basement waterproofing companies. Try to choose one that will do the job right the first time. Trust me, you do not want to live through a project like this more than once.

Incredibly dissatisfied and unhappy with Everdry. Poor follow up service and they don't stand by their word. Sales team seems completely independent and removed from their operations team. A lot of talk and no follow through. Has not been worth the cost, and you should seriously consider using a different company. February 2020 - paid $15,782 for basement waterproofing installation. Installation crew was clean, efficient, timely, and great to have. The basement has not leaked once since their work. Unfortunately, this is where the satisfaction stops. Summer 2020 - humidity levels in basement reached upwards of 76-80%, far higher than previous levels before Everdry service. On two separate occasions, separate representatives came out with different conclusions as to the problem and different solutions. Adjust the EZ-Breathe settings, looked into possible cracking in walls, and blamed the paint coating on top of the exposed concrete floor. Ultimate solution: Everdry dropped off a dehumidifier that has been running for one full year in our basement now. Spring 2021 - Everdry sent us their 1 year survey. We responded to the survey in a completely dissatisfied manor and expressed all issues we have had with their service. Everdry did not contact us a single time in response. May 2021 - humidity issues persist 45-50% even with dehumidifier. Reached out to Everydry, they sent someone out. Again, no solution and tried finding different reasons for the humidity. July 2021 - current status is getting bounced around from one phone representative to the other. Cannot get anyone's attention to fix an issue that is over one year in the making. Can see evidence of mold growth in certain areas of the basement. Humidifier is incredibly loud, even with the hose attached there is still need to empty the bucket 3x per week, and I haven't yet calculated how much this is costing us on our monthly electric bill. Most disappointing part is that the entire sales pitch was to create a (1) clean and environmentally safe basement with no mold, and (2) have ability to finish our basement because of waterproofing and humidity fix. Luckily we didn't finish our basement, because had we laid down carpet there would be mold growing unknown to us. We were specifically sold on the fact that we would NOT have to put a dehumidifier in our basement - yet, that was their first solution. We have held up our end of the bargain with payment and communication. Everdry has not done the same and I don't know how else to get their attention other than posting a public review or sending a demand letter. Our issues still remain and I cannot rationally refer their services to anyone considering using Everdry to waterproof their basement considering the incredibly high cost and incredibly low level of result.

[Member Name Removed]; We are very sorry to hear you are unhappy. It is great to hear you have not had any water since the installation and the installation crew did a great job for you. I've discussed with you on how we are going to try to find out where your humidity is coming from. We apologize for the delay but when humidity comes from areas we did not waterproof, it is sometimes difficult to find. Hopefully we will get this resolved very quickly for you. The salesman was super nice and actually stayed longer than the allotted time just because we were chatting and enjoying his company. The workers, oh gosh the workers. All of them were sketchy including the foreman, Jerry. 2 of them spoke English. Jerry never followed up with me about several questions, never got pictures of the work like he was supposed to provide. No regard for my belongings and they rummaged through my belongings and STOLE A LOADED REVOLVER. The workers, oh gosh the workers. We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with your experience with EverDry. EverDry does not subcontract anybody out and does a full background check on every employee. We have done an internal review and so has the local police with the police report that was filed. As stated several times, none of our before pictures or any of the employees remember seeing any kind of revolver. If you have any other questions or concerns on the work performed please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Sincerely, EverDry Waterproofing of Greater Indiana.

I had my basement done by Everdry Waterproofing. David did a wonderful job explaining several systems. He educated us on how water was entering our basement floor and walls. I had other companies out and they just wanted the sale and no education. I loved how they educated us. When the crew arrived to do the Waterproofing they were on time and respected our home. They cleaned up my basement better then before they even touched it. Thank you Everdry for Waterproofing my home!

Problem was rain water penetrating the foundation cement blocks and being forced up to wet the subfloor. Foundation blocks also had cracked in one location. Solution was to apply plastic and sealant to the outside foundation wall and to pipe water away. Also Ever-Dry workers installed sump pumps and perforated pipe around the inside foundation wall (in crawl space), drilled the blocks on the inside to allow any water in the blocks to escape to the sump pumps. The foundation vents were sealed, a dehumidifying system was installed, and heavy vinyl was installed over the floor. The workers were very punctual and courteous. The only improvement would have been if they had done a little better job of removing the building rubble that was uncovered during the foundation trenching.

The crew arrived on schedule, performed the work quickly.. They were very courteous and professional and the system seems to be working very well. In digging the trenches the workers uncovered quite a lot of building rubble. It would have been nice if they had cleared it away more thoroughly, both outside and in the crawl space
Description of Work: I had noticed a crack in the foundation and upon further inspection in the crawl space I found that the bottom of the wooden wall structure was wet and moldy. Ground water was apparently being forced up the block foundation to the subfloor. To correct the problem Ever-dry workers dug trenches along the foundation both in the crawl space and around the outside to drain ground water away. Sealant was applied to the outside of the foundation. Inside of the crawl space the blocks were drilled to allow the water to escape, and piping in the trench then carried it to sump pumps and thence to the lawn outside. Oh the crawl space was covered with heavy vinyl, the foundation vents were sealed, and a dehumidifying system was installed the the crawl space.

It went well. I don't have to worry about my basement flooding every time it rains. It is a peace of mind knowing my basement will stay dry and if there are any issue Ever Dry will be there to fix it. That has yet to happen and we have not had any issues. Plus it will help out if I try to sell the house to someone else. They will know the house is waterproof and don't have to worry about anytime it rains. I left one review discussing the sales and customer service staff on Google. This review is for the crew who performed the work. I must say, these guys were fantastic! They were friendly and patient with us. Even with having to do this work in sleeting rain and snow. They were here every morning bright and early and worked quickly but made sure to do the work right. There were a couple things they did extra to that they didn't need to. They hooked our washer and dryer back up once finished with the concrete around the perimeter of the basement. They also are coming out one extra day to power wash off the drive and patio due to all the mud. These guys were informative, pleasant, respectful, and effective. Our foreman was Jesus and he was wonderful. Super friendly and helpful. Brad, who is the supervisor to Jesus, called daily to check on how things were going and to answer any questions I had. I would give them more stars if I could!

I wish I would have read these reviews before we hired Everdry. I could kick myself for not being more thorough! They started work on time and "finished" in a timely manner. However, they quality and pride in their work is sub par. They didn't leave things they way they found it - patio furniture scattered and deck completely muddy. There is an "extension cord" running from outside my house to under my house. The drains for the sump pump were exposed and in a location where water can flow back into the crawl space. What we were told we purchased doesn't seem to be what we got. There doesn't seem to be a manager or any type of quality control to make sure the job is done correctly. We were very disappointed.....to put it lightly.

We are sorry you feel your experience was disappointing. We sent our production manager out to meet with your husband on Saturday since you were unable to meet with us at any time during the Process of the five day job to walk through progress reports with foreman due to your work schedule. We have already scheduled to extend the sump pump drains further away from the house. They were extended to proper code distance and I assure you the water will not flow back into crawlspace because of ground slope and our outside drainage system that was installed but I agree that the main discharge drain should be further away from the home. We’ve also decided to hire an electrician to install an outlet in your crawlspace. We are sorry about the misunderstanding with the electrical. We do go over running Electric to the nearest outlet but we Will do a better job in the future of making sure the homeowner understands that. We did completely remove the deck boards and replace. We typically leave the deck bare for post inspection and should’ve clarified that with you before we started. We will clean the deck boards on Monday hopefully to your satisfaction. Once again I am sorry you are happy and will do our best to rectify situation.

At first, last year, it seemed to be going fine. Then the not so comedy of errors started. One of the dual pumps burnt out because it was installed improperly, service call one, pump replaced. Then I noticed water beginning in the basement and they then installed a third drain line in the middle of the floor and it looked like a 5 year old (I'm being generous here) did the repair, second service call. I then again notice water coming in around the cracks between the repairs, (and a snail had taken up residence), a third service call. They needed to break up the outside wall drain and dig it deeper. It had a high point in it which would not allow the water to drain into the sump pit properly. New drain and concrete installed and service technicians left service call number 3. I noticed about half an hour later, the pump was running and no water was in the pit to be pumped out, it sounded like it was "thrashing". I was told by the service scheduler, at the office on the phone, to take something and knock the float down and the pump will shut off until the pit fills again and then I should knock the float down again. It was about 11:40 in the morning. The technicians would be after 2:00 before they could return. They actually returned about 20 minutes after I hung up, service call number 4, rod on the float had been bent on installation allowing the float to migrate slightly onto the top of the pump housing not allowing it to lower to shut off the pump. To add insult to injury I, just this week, received the annual bill for the warranty on the pump. After all these problems, I began to read the contract to determine if I had any recourse. Guess what????? I do have recourse if I want to file a complaint with an arbitrator and deal with it that way. Big problem, to file a complaint you have to pay a $900.00 fee up front. This is after I paid over $12,000.00 to have the basement water proofed. I'm still waiting on the dryness to remain. I have not been able to place the shelving and other items on the basement floor because of curing time and the fear that the moisture will ruin the items on the shelves. The basement still smells musty all the time. I'm at this time so disappointed and mad I just want to cry....The attached pictures are from prior to service call number 3.

The system was installed early spring 2019 and they have returned three times. It takes multiple calls to remind them to return. A beaver could cut a straighter line in drywall than these guys. We have had damp spots and and black mold. The basement was wet before and continues to take on water. The sump pump they installed has never run and is bone dry which means the trench and piping they installed is just holding the water and not pumping the water out away from the house as it should. Do not purchase anything from this company. If you are taking in water call a tradesman that is familiar with basements.
Description of Work: Rushed Job, poor quality, faulty design.

I called and they were out in the same day. Our representative was ver friendly and genuine. Was very thorough on explaining what was wrong on our level. Went over all our available options. We were very impressed with his knowledge and felt he actually cared about our house. We are still deciding what to do.
Description of Work: We have a cracked wall in the basement that leaks every time there is a heavy rain.

They were actually early to the job.
Description of Work: They came and tested the walls for water and then dug trenches along the interior edge of the floor in the basement. Now there's no longer water of any kind. They also installed an EZ Breeze system which circulates the air in the house.
