The experience was excellent. Ty was very thorough and we feel confident that any and all potential defects were identified, photographed and reported. We would highly recommend this company to all people needing a home inspection. Ty went above and beyond the scope of duty. It is so great to have found an inspector that we can TRUST! He showed and explained things to us all in words we could understand. There can't possibly be a better home inspector out there. He and Chris are the best team in the Indianapolis area. I have complete confidence recommending them to our family and friends.

When I called Homeworx for a quote, I was immediately impressed. I could tell that Ty was a very detail oriented person. Ty was available on fairly short notice. Ty spent a total of 5 hours meticulously inspecting the home. My husband and I were there for the entire inspection. Ty explained everything well. In addition, he gave us general maintenance tips that weren't necessarily pertinent to the inspection. We will definitely recommend Homeworx to friends and will use Homeworx again if the need arises.

A Very Comprehensive Inspection of a home (pre-sales) that was built in 1910 with a brick foundation. Ty performed an exhaustive analysis of the entire property for at least 6 hours from top to bottom. His report is 41 pages long with a large amount of analysis of the property. An extensive collection of photos were included to illustrate his findings. Ty arrived at the property at 9am and stayed until at least 3pm. My wife and I accompanied him throughout the inspection and talked to him in detail about everything that he saw as potential points of concern. Even after the initial inspection, he made 3 additional visits to the property to retrieve testing equipment. He also noticed some more issues that he updated into his report. The price reflects the fact that we had 3 additional tests performed that are still being analyzed by the laboratory. He was highly competent, extremely objective and excellent at communicating this information to myself and my wife.

I received an estimate over the phone for a home inspection of $325, and an additional $50 for a termite inspection. The price seemed reasonable. They sent me a sample report via email. However, they did not have any open appointments for the week so I contracted with another service that did.

He was on time, very detailed in his information as we walked through the property. His report was easy to read and was delivered in a timely manner.

Ty was very professional and informative. He was thorough and polite and when he explained the things that needed to be repaired, he didn't leave us hanging. He actually told us how to go about fixing things ourselves. When we got into our new home, we noticed that our shower head in the master bath didn't work; Ty came and fixed it for us, along with helping us install new GFI's and a bathroom vent. He went above and beyond his duty and we are so happy we chose Homeworx. He was referred to us by a friend of the family and we couldn't be more satisfied!

Ty was great to work with. I was on time and did a thorough inspection. He was able to walk through the inspection with Ty, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was not rushed or hurried in any way so we felt that he took enough time to explain things to us without trying to rush the job. Our overall experience was one that I would highly recommend to anyone needing an experienced and licensed home inspector. We thought that he was priced very well for this inspection ended up saving us thousands of dollars in home repairs!

I was impressed by the thoroughness of the inspection and the willingness of Mr. Nuckols to explain to me the strong points as well as the weaknesses in the structure of the home as he was doing the inspection, which he followed up with a 26 page report complete with photos on his findings within two days. As a result of the report I decided not to purchase the home because of the huge cost of repairing the damages to the foundation and the electric and septic systems. I will definitely hire him to inspect the next house I think I want to buy.

Ty did an excellent job, as he did on our current house. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for an excellent and thorough inspection of one of the most important investments of your life!
