Punctual...polite...efficient...no extra costs and learned some valuable info on house

They came out soon after I called. We had a flood light that kept going out. I wanted him to come and look at the wiring to make sure I did not have a problem. Once he got here he told me to change to an LED light bulb and I have not had a problem since. Turned out to be an easy fix. Good experience. It saved me a lot of unnecessary expenses.

FANTASTIC!!! Once the weather cooperated, Chris (the electrician) arrived and commenced the work. He was efficient, took pride in his work, and the new line worked the first time!! I know there was a lot more involved than I am mentioning but Efficient Systems, I have used before, and I will continue to use. Shaun, the owner, has to be proud of Chris as well as all his employees!!

It went well. Purchased their services directly from Angie's List based on their reviews. They followed-up immediately . . . accommodated my schedule and timetable . . . and got the job done exactly as promised. They even sent a follow-up email to thank me for using their services. Overall it was a "no muss/no fuss" experience, which is exactly what I was looking for.

The technician was very personable. He explained exactly what he was going to do and was meticulous with cleanup.

The gentleman whom was sent out for the tune up was very professional and explained that unfortunately the heat pump needed a few repairs, and or possibly needed replaced if the unit continued to act up. At that time he provided a quote for the repair, but said he gladly could send it to my email as well as including what it would cost to replace the entire unit. The next day I contacted the technician to schedule the repairs but had noticed I never received any emails in regards to the replacement cost of the HVAC unit. So when coming out for repairs I mentioned this, he apologized and said he would try to send again. Within 2 days I noticed the unit was still acting up (turning off and on every 30 seconds) so I called to have him come back out. When coming out to check again he mentioned a dye test would be needed to determine where the leak is, at that time he explained it may be more cost effective to replace the entire unit. I told him I would probably agree (considering the high costs of the dye test as well as the possibilities of a major leak in the exterior coil) but never received the quote, at that time he said he would AGAIN send it again. Within a few days I received a call from the office staff to see if I'd like to move forward on the quote, at that time I explained again I never received the quote. The agent apologized and said she would send it out right away, unfortunately once I received the quote it seemed quite high for a heat pump ($8,100) so I contacted other vendors to get competitive pricing. Each vendor that came out stated their prices were extremely high for a dye test (more than double than the 3 other competitors), and stated the repair costs were quite high as well. Within a day or two I received an email from company stating that the quotes sent were incorrect and they would gladly send a new quote that day. Unfortunately the next day came and I noticed no quote, so I reached out again to check the progress on getting the new quote. The agent responded stating they got tied up and would sent that day. I did end up getting the revised quote (around 11pm at night) which was MUCH cheaper. To me it almost appeared that the company over charged to see if I would bite, and then when realizing that I didn't they offered a lower rate. So after having the issues with not getting the quotes when promised as well as pricing the HVAC unit high to see if I could bite I decided to go with another company for the entire placement of the heat pump. Personally I would not suggest this company if you need something quick as it took a few weeks before I ever got the quote on the replacement, and when I did it was VERY high compared to other local companies. Overall I was not satisfied and wished I went with another company out of the gate to avoid these issues as I had to run our Emergency heat for several days due to never receiving a quote.

There was a glitch in your system, Angie's List, and this company is located in Indiana, not New Jersey. When I called them they said I would need to seek a refund from Angie's List. I contacted you but you never returned my last email. So, where is my money? I realize that I was over the thirty day refund, but my father died and I had other concerns on my mind. Your behavior is completely unprofessional and you owe me this money. I personally know a reporter for the New York Times so you can expect some seriously bad press unless this situation is rectified. Otherwise I intend to consult with my attorney. A company like yours should correct their mistakes. Aren't you supposed to save us money, not steal it? You owe me $1349.00. If I don't hear back from you I certainly will take further measures. Really disgusted by such unprofessional behavior on your part. "Was money paid or were services performed?" is not a yes/no answer in this case. You might want to restructure that question, or learn how to structure a grammatically proper sentence that makes sense.

They showed up on time. Adam was the tech and was very nice, cordial and took the time to explain what he was doing. I thought the price was fair considering he had to cut drywall to run the wiring. Price was good. I had several estimates and Efficient was the competitive with the others. I would recommend several quotes. Some companies were not even in the ball park to compete.

as good as could be expected. I called on a very cold day before Christmas and they arranged to come and assess the problem. The HAVC pro was personable and he explained things well. He got the furnace going and provided me with an estimate a week later on what it would cost to do a proper fix

After having 3 other companies come to my house to give me estimates to replace a 40 year old furnace, I chose Efficient Systems. Sean Smith, CEO to this company, was the one to come to my house and estimate the service to be performed. He explained in detail the differences in furnaces and the appropriate ones for my house. He also told me he holds a degree in mechanical engineer which I took in great consideration, as I think it does help a lot in projecting the work to be done. The installer, Brian, was very nice and did a good job. I am pleased with the new furnace. My son also needed a new system in his house, furnace and air conditioner, and did have estimates from other companies. He also chose Efficient Systems, first because of their good work at my house and of course the competitive prices. I wanted to thank Ron, a service provider for Efficient Systems, that came to my house to check on the system and finished setting up a humidifier, such a pleasant and knowledgeable person.

I took the morning off to meet the tech but they rescheduled because they had a customer without heat. They did call before the appointment time to reschedule. The rescheduled appointment went well. Professional, prompt and completed the work quickly with a good explanation of the condition of my furnace. Good price through Angie's List deal

We had family coming in and it was a holiday week and the owner stayed late and made sure the house was ready for guest. Couldn't ask for more.

Appointment was scheduled quickly. Sean arrived on time, politely answered all our questions and did a marvelous job replacing our old water heater with a new one. In the past, we have gone through several different plumbing companies that provided poor or inadequate service. We were very impressed with Efficient Systems and will most definitely hire them again!! Would highly recommend them! A++++

Purchased a Deal for a whole house humidifier. A representative came out for the initial consultation and said they would get back to me with and updated price and info due to space constraints. That never happened, I called to follow up a week later and was told someone would call me back. That never happened. Services were never rendered, had to get a refund from Angies List.

At the time I thought they did a great job and i got a good deal. Shortly after I was informed the furnace did not actually fit the space causing filters to get jammed in and makes changing them very difficult. During the install no one mentioned this to me. I figured it was one mistake until earlier this year I had a leak in one of the pipes. I called a different company that informed me it was the installers fault and it was not up to code. I called efficient systems out and he said they weren't responsible and from that moment forward it was the worse customer service experience I have ever dealt with. I had a 3rd company fix the issue when the hot water stopped working who also confirmed what the first company had said. The install was not up to code and explained exactly the issue and how far away the plastic pipes need to be. At this point, Angie's List contacted them and efficient systems refused to correct the install. Angie's list recommended I contact BBB and efficient systems refused to respond to the BBB. I am currently experience issues with the furnace and paying for a service call. This is the absolute worst customer service and it is costing me a lot more when I thought initially I was getting a good deal.
