Showed up on time and gave very competitive estimate.Agreed to price on spot and paid half up front.Installers came couple weeks later. They were on time and very courteous. Owner showed up towards end of install to check on job. Result looks great... exactly what I wanted.

It went great. We had been having a lot of trouble with our shower door being hard to open and close in the wintertime because the ground would heave slightly, making the wall shift and the shower door get tighter. Turns out the door had been too big originally, and the previous installer cut it down to fit without leaving room for movement. After years of struggling with the door, it started to come apart. Bill Smith from Dr. Shower Door came out and assessed the problem. It would be an easy fix, he said. He had the door we wanted in stock, so he removed our damaged door and hauled it away. A couple of days later he returned with the new door and installed it. Now, instead of a fully framed fiberglass door, we have a semiframeless glass door with a C-pull handle which looks much more elegant and opens and closes with ease. Now it's winter again and we've not had any trouble with our new door.

He replaced the shower door the builder put in. The old door was of poor quality and constantly jamming. He came to our house and provided an accurate cost on the job before agreeing to do it. He even went so far as telling us how to uninstall the old door which saved us a some money. The price was very reasonable considering the door installed. The install was done on time and went smoothly. When they were done, we received detailed instructions on how to use and maintain the door to make it last longer. This door is considerably better than the one it replaced and works great. We love this door and would definitely use them again.

He did a good job overall! He was professional, timely, and I felt the price was fair in comparison to others.

I had a couple of estimates for the work done. Bill's estimate was right in line with the others but I liked that he was a small business owner AND had great reviews on Angie's List. Bill came out and took the measurements of the door opening and gave me the estimate. I have a walk-in shower in the master bathroom, and the door that was there was starting to rot and leak (not to mention, it was ugly brass). I wanted a frameless door, and Bill answered all of my questions about the door installation since frameless doors are heavy. Also, since there is no frame, I was concerned about the door leaking, but Bill explained how the gaskets on the sides of the door prevent that. Before I made my final decision, Bill invited me to go to his showroom so I could see exactly what I would be getting. I signed the agreement that day and then Bill ordered the door glass. A couple of weeks later, once the glass had come in, he came out, removed the old door and installed the new one. He was done in approx an hour, and the new door is beautiful. I would definitely use this company again for any future needs.

Bill came out to give an estimate a few weeks back. I indicated I was waiting for a response from another company to give a quote as well. The other company never responded....so I gave Bill the job after researching the information on-line and checking with a few neighbors who recently had similar replacements. Things didn't go exactly as planned...the wrong glass was ordered in error, next the glass cutting company Bill utilizes had their main machine break, but all in all, he stayed in contact, explained the situation, and eventually completed the job.

From my initial call Bill was very polite and professional. He was able to come out to look at my shower and give me an estimate the next day. We discussed my options given the design of my bathroom and he told my why I could not go all glass and but he could come very close and that the small amount of metal I would need to enclose the shower would be very small. He told me how long it would take to get in the glass for him to prepare and install and the time schedule of the supplier. He let me know he would call me as soon as he got a confirmation from the supplier about a delivery date. He called me in two days to confirm the installation date and it was exactly as he had predicted. On installation day he and his assistants were very professional: put down cloth to not dirty my wood floors or carpet, cleaned up, and left my bathroom in great shape. I am very pleased with the finished product and how quickly he was able to get the job done. I had gotten another quote from Carmel Glass with a product that was not as nice and I am very pleased with the quality and pricing of Dr. Shower Door.

Bill examined the and presented us with some options but suggested replacing the enclosure with a new glass surround. After discussion, we selected a product we liked, Bill prepared a detailed estimate and described the work to be done. We paid a 50% deposit and Bill took the appropriate measurements. He indicated that the ordering process would take about 2-weeks and that he would call us back when the pieces were ready to install. In about 2-weeks, he called and we scheduled a convenient time. Bill and an assistant showed up on-time, disassembled the existing surround, cleaned the area and installed the new pieces. The work was done in an efficient and careful manner. The old material was removed and discarded. We were very pleased with the work that was done and the manner in which Bill worked with us. Bill and his assistant were careful not to damage anything or track dirt into our home. We would recommend him to others and would use him again should we require this type of work.

Bill and his assistant did a great job. My shower enclosure looks like new. The doors actually slide now.

We have a glass block shower, and every winter the house would heave slightly and the shower door would stick. Over several years of having to slam the door to get it to close, the door frame was coming apart. I found Dr. Shower Door & Mirrors through Angie's List and called and spoke with Bill Smith. He came out to our house in February of 2011 and diagnosed the problem. The door was, in fact, too big for the space and had been installed improperly (trimmed down to fit with no room for seasonal expansion/contraction) by the glass block shower installer (the company is no longer in business). Bill described in very clear terms what he suggested be done, and the price was very reasonable so we ordered a new door. Bill came back a few days later and removed the old door and did the prep work for when the new door would be ready for delivery and installation. The new door arrived promptly and was installed.We love it! It's a semi-frameless door of clear tempered safety glass with a C-pull handle. It fits perfectly and Bill assured us that it will continue to fit and operate perfectly even with the winter wall movement.

They did a great job. They were nice. They came on time. They did the job and left. They were great.

All went well from start to finish. Always get 2-3 estimates and ask questions. Unless you have an exotic shower door and enclosure you can have the Standard doors fixed at a reasonable cost.

Work was completed, cleaned up, old shower enclosure taken away -- no mess, no fuss for me! I would have absolutely no issues with using this company again. Honest, Dependable, reasonable, cost efficient.

Bill returned my original call in one week. I had called the week of the ice/snow storm and he was a bit busy. We made an appointment for the free estimate and he was there within that week. I thought it would be a difficult replacement, and a non-standard size, so would be costly. He assured me it WAS a standard size shower door and he would be able to do the job in 2 weeks. The price was less than what I had seen at 2 name brand hardware stores and I would have had to hire someone to do the work. I ordered the door and sure enough, in 2 weeks he called to set up a time to install it. He brought his assistant and it took them an hour to remove the old door and replace the new one. They cleaned up all the packing material, gave me instructions about letting the glue on the base plate dry for 48 hrs, handed me the accompanying brochure for the door, and it was over. It has worked beautifully and I am very pleased.

He came out to fix shower doors that would not open/close. He found that adjustments were needed on how the doors were hanging. The doors work better now than they ever did. He charged me the base amount for making a home visit. I felt the charge was well worth the outcome of the service.

I called and Bill answered the phone and set up an appointment. He showed up on time and was very professional in his approach to the job. He quoted me several prices and suggested what doors to go with. They were not necessarily the most expensive ones, but the best quality for the price. I signed the contract and set up a time for installation. Bill and Frank arrived and immediately went to work getting the doors installed. Bill and Frank did an outstanding job in the installation of the new doors and removal of the old doors. I would highly recommend. NOTE: It would be nice to have a category for shower doors to make it easier to find Bill and his company

It turned out wonderful. He was really responsive. He was quick and had a reasonable price. I was very pleased with this service.

This company is also noted on Angie's List as Mr. Shower Door. It is the same company but due to trademark requirements he was forced to change his name to Dr. Shower Door. Bill was great to work with from the start. He actually answered his own phone and explained the three levels of service he provides. If he can fix it on the spot it is one price, if it requires a hinge replacement it's a second price and full replacement of the door is a third price. He showed up on time and was very nice and completed the job quickly. I went with him becuase he seemed to have a lot of experience with shower enclosures and I wanted it done right with the proper parts. He told me about his background and he has worked specifically with shower enclosures for a long time. He can install new, repair or replace and he seems like an honest hard working guy. The price was worth it in order to know that it will work right for (probably) many years to come. Our enclosure is 12 years old and this is the first thing we've ever had to do to it.

It went very well. I found Bill on Angie's List, called and he answered. I explained the issue to Bill and he was very knowledgable on glass enclosures and has been installing them for several years. We scheduled a tentative appoiment for him to come out the next day to give me an estimate. Bill was able to make the repair right there on the spot, and now my shower door operates perfectly.

Bill from Mr Shower door came to my house made measurements and gave me an approximate install date. They met their estimate, installed the door with no mess or fuss. Did a great job, wonderful price.
