Randy was very helpful, worked around my schedule, made sure he was doing what I wanted and made excellent suggestions. He takes a lot of pride in his work. My 1950's bathroom tile looks really nice - much better than tearing out and replacing.

The service was fine and I have no complaints.

I purchased the Big Deal from Angie's List and called D&J and few weeks later. They were able to set up a time to do the work when I needed them . I am pleased that the shower still looks good.

Randy and crew were very friendly and courteous. Arrived on time and worked until project was done within the time frame quoted. Some delays due to weather but project completed on time. Left the area completely clean when finished. Very positive experience. Good contractor to work with.

The owner, Randy Jones, was very easy to work with. He even picked the paint up so I could utilize his painter's discount. His discount saved me about $200. He and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job painting my basement's drop ceiling, walls and trim. The work area remained clean throughout the process and they put all the furniture back in its place before leaving. In fact, I think the basement was actually cleaner after he left than it was when he arrived! I highly recommend working with D & J Carpet & Tile. In fact, I'm going to hire them again to lay tile! After both the company and Angies list failing to make contact so as to arrange an appointment, we were finally able to connect and all the work was done to our satisfaction. I am not sure that contracting through the big deals is always the best way to go. Saves money, but creates confusion.

The quality of work was good. The wood repair work was also done well.

Our service from D&J was done by Randy the owner. I was very pleased that he could get to our carpet and tile cleaning job in just 4 days after I called to inquire about pricing. This was important because we were preparing our house to put in on the market for sale. Without overselling or being pushy, he offered other services (tile grout cleaning and walk-in shower caulking) in which I was interested because I needed to have these done but did not have the time to do them myself. Randy cleaned the master bath tile (walk-in shower and floor) and steam cleaned all of the carpets on Saturday and came back on Sunday to caulk the walk-in shower and clean and seal the floor tile grout. I was very pleased with Randy's attention to detail, the quality of the work, and the price. I would recommend D&J to anyone interested in these types of services.

Excellent! We were extremely pleased with Randy's work. We purchased a Big Deal for Grout caulking and restoration and were more than pleased with the result. When restoring the grout, Randy discovered water damage behind a row of tiles. He was able to come up with a way to repair the wall without tearing out all the wall tiles; replacing the damaged shower board before putting the tiles back and regrouting. Randy quoted us a price for the additional work which we found very reasonable. Randy worked carefully to remove the tiles so that they would not break, therefore saving us replacement cost of the tiles. When all the work was complete, Randy's final bill came in less than what was quoted as it didn't take him as long as he had originally thought. The finished shower looks like new! I would highly recommend D & J Carpet and Tile Cleaning.

Overall, the work was performed to my complete satisfaction. Randy (the owner) and I agreed upon a date for painting a few months in advance. When the time came, Randy contacted me and we established the date his crew would arrive and the number of days it would take to complete the various stages of the job (approximately 3 days total). The painters started as agreed and finished on the day promised. The overall project was completed in a solid, professional manner, and the finished product was just what I had hoped for - neat, matching and of professional quality. Although there was one small hicup with a window being broken in the painting process, Randy arranged and paid for a window specialist in the area to come right out and replace the window with the same quality window that had been broken. Randy kept communicating with me before, during and after the job to insure that I was happy with how things were going. He assured me that if there was anything that was not to my satisfaction, he would take care of it. There was no need to take him up on that, as everything was done to my satisfaction. I would definitely use Randy (D & J Carpet & Tile) again and recommend his services to others.

Myself and Angie's List attempted to contact this company several times and we are yet to hear back from them. I will be refunding this deal. I would not use this company if I was you. Even if they called me I would still not use them.

I purchased a deal for the house painting. We had contacted each other a few times, but after determining how busy he was, we decided not to go through with them. There was nothing wrong with the company itself, just didn't work out with our time frame.

Randy was scheduled to come Saturday morning, but he had a job where a customer asked for a lot more to be done once he was on-site. He quickly called me, explained that he wouldn't be able to make my Saturday appointment, and to my pleasant surprise, asked if he could come the following day--on Sunday--to take care of my job. He showed up Sunday as promised and did the work. He needed to go to the hardware store to buy a coupling for our sink to hook up his hose. While he was there, he purchased brown paper, plastic, and tape to protect our carpet while he was doing his work. This was above and beyond. He did a good job. I would hire him again.

The instructions said that the company would contact me two days from purchase. When I didn't hear from the company by 10/09/12, I called them on 10/10/12. I have decided to ask for a refund of my purchase because of the delay. I have not had a call back.

OUTSTANDING! Just moved into our home and were pretty sure we would be replacing the carpet in the hallway. It had many stains and looked bad. After cleaning it looked great and all stains were removed. Also had two rooms and a large ceiling area painted and are very pleased with the results. Customer service very important to this company and it shows in the quality of there work. I would defiantly use them again.

They did a great job. They even went above and beyond what was specified. I would definitely use them again and refer them to other people.

I ordered 2 painters for a day from Angie's list to paint the interior of my empty condo. I was given a receipt and told that Mr Jones would contact me within two days. I didn't get a call so I contacted him and he said he hadn't gotten an email from Angie's List. I met with Mr Jones and we came to a verbal agreement as to what he would do and how much it would cost. When asked, he advised he does accept credit cards. He told me he would send me a written estimate, which I never received. I called the day before he was due out and he assured me that they would be there early. I got a call the next morning saying the rain caused them to run a little late. I went by in the afternoon and they had made a good start but Mr Jones wasn't there. He arrived before I left and I told him the color on the front door was wrong. He agreed to correct. He called about 5p and said they would be back the next day to finish. I think the damp weather was slowing down the drying time. He said they would start early and be finished by 10 or so. I called him at noon the next day and he said they had to apply more coats in the bedroom to cover but they were almost through. I went by and left my number with Kevin, as Mr Jones wasn't there. I told him to call when they were finished. He called about 2:30p. I found several spots of paint on the guest room carpeting, which Kevin immediately cleaned up when I brought it to his attention. One wall in the master bedroom had incomplete coverage, which they took care of. The kitchen sink was dirty and Kevin cleaned it out after I brought it to his attention. Kevin also asked if I could give him a check as Mr Jones credit card machine wasn't working. I had to call Mr Jones to find out how much as there wasn't any written invoice or receipts. I definitely feel I got my money's worth, however, I think Mr Jones could be more professional. He should be there to supervise and follow up to see that everything was done. He also needs to give written estimates, showing just what he was going to do. I thought the hall painting included the doors and door frames but was told after that it wasn't. A written estimate would prevent misunderstandings. He also should present a written invoice with attached receipts before expecting to be paid and I still don't understand his excuse for not accepting a credit card other than the fact he wasn't there. Mr Jones and his employees bent over backwards to please me. They were very reasonable in price, even using left over paint from other jobs and not charging me for it. I would hire him again.

I purchased a Big Deal for $89 for 300 Sq Ft. of Tile and Grout Cleaning by D&J Carpet & Tile. Randy Jones contacted me to set up an appointment and arrived at the specified time. Although our kitchen and entry hall was 340 sq ft, he performed the tile and grout cleaning for the $89. We also had him seal the grout for $.50 a sq ft or $170. Randy and an assistant performed the work in about two hours. We were very happy with the results and had Randy come back to perform the same services for out back hall, laundry room, bathroom and bar area. Randy gave us the same $89 price for the cleaning and the $.50 for sealing. We were very pleased with the results of the cleaning.

My experience with Randy and his team was outstanding. I called Randy to schedule painting services, and he was able to get my job in on very short notice, due to rain delay on another exterior job he was working. The crew worked efficiently and neatly, and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Randy came by at the start and finish of the job to discuss the details of the work with me. He was very thorough in checking their work, and made sure that I was happy with how things had gone. He even ran to get one final gallon of paint at the end of the day, so that they could complete the job within the estimated time. I'm very happy with the work they did and the customer service Randy offers - a rare find!

I had a mix up in the date so Randy came by on Monday and looked at the job and gave me some advice regarding my tile which was much appreciated. He then came back on the right day (Tuesday) with a helper and they did a very good job in making my old tile look clean and new. They were pleasant to have around and they took every precaution to keep the carpet, etc. clean i.e. put down runners and wore shoe covers. A good experience.

We were very pleased. Randy explained well what needed to be done and he did it promptly. Although the floors had been cleaned routinely, I noticed the stains in the light-colored grout (in part from my own application of a grout cleaner which dirtied it up instead). Randy also explained how to properly care for the newly sealed ceramic tile floors so things like this wouldn't happen in the future. I plan to hire him about spring cleaning time to clean the grout in another bathroom and spruce up the slate entryway too. It takes a special skill to work in the homes of people, and Randy has it.

The owner, Randy Jones, contacted me and set a meeting to walk around the house. During the walk through, he thoroughly explained how his crew would prep the surface, caulk around the windows and in the seams of the siding, discussed paint options and provided an estimate on some repairs I requested. We agreed to a price and his crew arrived two days later to pressure wash and prep for paint. The crew was professional and courteous and their attention to detail was impeccable. They took extra care to protect landscaping and never left a mess anywhere on the property. The quality of their repairs was fantastic, too. They worked quickly, but didn't rush the job. All in all, it was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Randy returned on the final day of the job to walk around the house and make sure I was satisfied with the work. He noticed a small spot of caulking on my chimney that needed attention and a small drip of paint on a second story window. He sent his crew back out the next rain-free day and they quickly touched up the areas. It's clear that Randy and his crew take pride in their work and care about customer satisfaction. Having recently replaced a roof and gutters, I know how rare of a quality this has become!
