+ -1 moreDick came out to troubleshoot and repair a dryer that was operational but wasn't heating up. He quickly traced the problem to a blown thermal fuse, had the part on hand, and made the repair. He even leveled my dryer for me.

Came on time, ready to work, was friendly and I felt like he was an honest man. Should I need an appliance repaired, I will look no further. You shouldn't either.
Description of Work: Replaced the igniter in my oven that had gone out. Came out an hour after I called. Amazing! I was never on hold, or waiting for anything.

+ -1 moreThey couldn't fix the compressor. I was impressed with him. He talked about refrigerators/freezers of different brands. I was totally impressed with him. He was very professional. I will keep his number for any appliance repairs in the future.

+ -1 moreExtremely positive. Being able to trust a service provider runs neck-and-neck for me with quality of work. I found Cumberland Appliance Repair worthy of my trust.
Description of Work: I called to request service on a refrigerator that had quit working because it was tripping the GFI circuit whenever it was plugged in. A Cumberland Appliance Repair representative advised me to move the refrigerator to a non-GFI cicuit because older refrigerators begin to draw greater loads, often tripping the GFI. This resolution worked quite well and did not cost me anything. I am completley satisfied with this company.

+ -1 moreWe were/are very satisfied with work that was performed and the manner in which it was done from the scheduling of an appointment to checking the repair and the settling up of payment. Dick was on time, polite, quietly competent, and reasonably priced.
Description of Work: Our laundry washing machine would not drain water and stopped. Water leaked slowly to the floor in the utility room. We called for service at about 8:30 AM, received a return call about 9:30 AM and scheduled work at 3:00 PM the same day. Dick diagnosed the problem and replaced a solenoid valve in about 30-45 minutes. He checked its performance, reopened the cover, tightened a joint to stop a slow leak, and re-tested the work. Dick had all necessary tools and parts with him. He cleaned/restored the area to good condition when his work was complete. The repair was successful and has continued for about 10 weeks so far. This is not a surprise since he has repaired other appliances for us similarly over several years.

HE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM ACCURATELY AND WAS ABLE TO COME BACK THE FOLLOWING AFTERNOON WITH ALL OF THE PARTS NEEDED. HE WAS VERY PUNCTUAL, FRIENDLY, POLITE, AND PROFESSIONAL. HE CALLS BEFORE COMING. HE WAS ALSO VERY CAUTIOUS OF WEARING SHOES IN THE HOME AND DID NOT MAKE ANY MESSES. HE CLEANED UP EVERYTHING AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER NICELY. HE HAS OVER 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND REALLY KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. I HOPE HE DOESN'T RETIRE ANY TIME SOON! HE IS GREAT! HIS PRICES SEEM TO BE VERY REASONABLE. HE IS VERY TRUSTWORTHY, I WOULD LEAVE A KEY FOR HIM IF I HADN'T BEEN ABLE TO BE THERE. HE IS A REALLY NICE AND HONEST PERSON.
