Move was smooth. They finished the work ahead of schedule and actually saved me some money. Beat the other quotes I got by quite a bit.

Overall, the experience was a good one. The estimator came to my house and inventoried, room-by-room, the stuff I needed moved. The intitial estimate was competitive out of the 4 that I got (1 was lower, 1 was equivalent, 1 was more). The movers arrived on time but let me know early on that there was a potential problem. The estimator contracted this job for 3 movers and a large straight truck. The movers told me that all of my stuff wasn't going to fit on the truck they brought. Other arrangements were made and an extra mover was put on the job. The move ended up requiring 2 trips. Apparently the extra mover compensated for the extra trip. The 4 movers themselves were very cordial and did a good job. Only a couple of things were damaged in the move but nothing that really mattered to me. They ended up charging me for exactly what was estimated. I would have been very upset had the final bill been more than 10% above the estimate due to the issues with the initial estimate versus the actual move. I put N/A on the rating for price of this move because I'm not sure what to put. It would be an A due to the fact that the estimate was the charged price. However, I do not have enough knowledge of the moving industry to know if a bigger truck and only 1 trip would have actually been cheaper. I would recommend this company for future work. As an aside, I would not trust any moving company that does not look at the job in-person and instead gives a quote over the telephone.

Three men and one truck showed up at my home at 8:30 Friday morning and quickly proceeded with loading all of my furniture. I was mainly concerned about something getting on a new mattress that I had just purcased (stains void the warranty) but they were extremely careful, placed it in a box, and got it to my new home safely. Overall, great experience!!

The company was great from the moment I first called. They were able to accommodate our schedule giving us a great pick up date. The drive called us a few days in advance to let us know when he would arrive in Virginia. He even was able to change the delivery time by a day to help us out because we had just returned from the hospital from having our daughter. The drive was careful, considerate, and very easy to work with as he unloaded the truck. The crew in Indianapolis also did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

We were pleased from the beginning. While many movers wanted to do our large job in one day, Crown Movers suggested a 2 day move from the beginning at no addition cost. They said that if we did it all in one day, the guys moving us would be worn out by the end which may cause injury to them or our furniture. They came on a Friday to pack us (for less than $400.00) and moved the basement and main floor on Saturday and then moved the bedrooms, garage, and outside on Monday. The gentlemen were very curtious and polite. They worked around our 2 yr old and 1 yr old. They showed me everything that was damaged before they moved it. One piece of furniture had a leg fall off while they were moving it. They let me know ASAP and then they fixed it imitiately with no problems. They kept me informed of everything, rearranged furniture and even went our of their way to move the exercise equipment around for me after the heavy pieces were left in the wrong place by the fitness company. We were very pleased

I contacted the company on a Friday for a quote and they were able to arrange the move for the very next day. A team of two men arrived as scheduled. They were very conscientious of the glass shelves and glass doors and packed the shelves carefully. They took great care when moving it from an upstairs bedroom and delivered it to our daughter's home just as carefully. They placed it for her and reinstalled the glass shelves upon delivery. Overall, we were very satisfied with the move. A company rep even called afterward to be sure we were satisfied with the work done. Considering it was only 1 piece of furniture, it was nice to received such great customer service.

They were just terrific! Shellie Law came for the estimate was very helpful and friendly. She had practical pointers for how to handle things and what the pack/not pack. They ended up coming in UNDER budget! They were very efficient and did extra things to make things go more smoothly. I recommended them to my son and daughter-in-law when they moved.

Our whole experience could not have been better. Shellie performed the estimate at our house. She was prompt in getting out to us (less than a week) and printed the binding estimate for us within 40 min of her arrival. She was very knowledgeable and offered many tips for expediting our move in the safest and most economical fashion. Peter was our driver and we would not hesitate to request him personally for our next move. He showed up an hour early. He completed the loading in under 3 hrs and never stopped for a break. There was no damage to the articles or the house itself. Pre-places runners, protected white carpets and linoleum from streak and dirt marks. Particularly laborious was the moving of a 70-in TV around tight corners from basement to ground level without so much as a ding on the walls. The move in was equally without incident, though quicker b/c everything was on the first floor (under 2 hrs). Peter paid attention even to the littlest detail (he stopped to fix a dresser handle that had been broken long before our move). Even as we fussed about where to place various articles, Peter maintained a smile on is face and his cheery disposition. Moving is always a headache, but Crown made it as pleasant as possible!

The guys were wonderful, punctual, helpful, and just very supportive. The move went very smoothly and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We'd use them again in a heart beat.

We were very happy with them because we found no thing broken or scratched. They also put everything in the correct rooms.We were very happy with them and would recommend them.

It went very well. They are a good company. They are all very courteous and we had no problem with returning phone calls. They were very customer service oriented. They were willing to accommodate my needs.

I called several places for estimates, but Crown was the only company that sent someone out to actually meet with me, see the volume of what was to be moved and submit a written estimate. I learned a lot from their sales representative, because, frankly, I didn't know what I didn't know. The move went as smoothly as you could dream a move could go. I would use Crown again in a heartbeat! Worth every penny!

Shellie was most supportive by giving us valuable ideas about out packing and strategy. The 2 guys arrived at the tick of 9:00. I was impressed at their promptness. The older guy with 29 yrs experience was directing the younger guy and they carefully moved massive and unusually heavy and awkward pieces. They loaded the truck in 2 hours and made the first 2 deliveries before lunch. They were entitled to a 1 hour lunch and took only half of that time. They completed the entire move in less than 5 1/2 hours. If I ever need anything moved again I'm going to call them first.

They were on time but they did scratch up a few walls in the old and new place. Other than that we were OK with their service. The price was good.

The team from Crown was very nice, however the people from Wheaton that did the actual moving damaged much of my furniture. Parts of my four poster bed are missing chunks of wood. My TV stand had scratches on the side and something is now wrong with the handles. Some of our kitchen items did not make it here. I am not sure if they were not packed or left somewhere, but they are gone.

The salesperson came out to give me an estimate. I was so impressed with her knowledge of the moving business. She advised me about the need for special handling for our plasma TV and front loading washing machine. The other company that I got an estimate from was much cheaper but they had no special plans for the handling of these items. She typed the information in to her laptop and printed out my estimate on the spot. All of their brochures and forms were very professional. Top notch company.

While our moving experience was far from exceptional and many items were damaged in the move, we were able to resolve many of the issues by having repairs performed. Where repairs were not possible, we did receive a timely check for replacement or loss of appearance. Unfortunately, there were so many damages that to some extent I tired of documenting them. Additionally, many damaged items were momentos which could not be replaced, and for which money was not the point.

They were excellent! Their prices are reasonable. They were punctual.

They came out and gave us a very competitive bid, they could accommodate the right day and were very professional. Shelly Law was the representative. They also gave us several great tips. the called ahead the day before, showed up exactly on time, and packed in 3 hours flat. They also packed lamps and paintings. They drove up to Minneapolis, showed up on time the next morning, and unpacked in 3-1/2 hours. Nothing was broken and the only thing lost was a file cabinet key. They called twice to check to see if we had found the key, and then called back with the name & number of a locksmith only 8 blocks from our apartment. They also sent me a check for $15 to cover the cost of the replacement key. The move came in slightly under the estimate. We were very pleased.

Never use them. They destroyed about 60% of the items I own. They refuse to repair the items. The refuse to send anyone out to look at the items damaged. They lied to me about the length of time I had to file a claim, lied about the damage that was done. There is mold growing in the sofa. They left my items on the truck for 10 days while it fermented and molded. I purchased the insurance and will not honor it. They have lost parts of antiques, they broke off parts of the antiques. It is unbelievable. They refuse to honor anything.

They were fabulous. It was the coldest day of the year and the guys were great. We moved the Friday before Christmas and the guys were awesome.

It did not go well. We chose them based on recommendations and initial meeting when they told us they would be extra careful with our belongings. They were not careful - pictures were packed with no protection, furniture was scratched and broken (even after telling the to take care of one expensive piece they didn't, and it broke), fragile items were wedged into boxes with electronics and broken, electronics weren't wrapped and were on the bottom of boxes that were bumped up and down steps - and subsequently broken. They didn't seem to concerned about the breakage, just told us to get in touch with the office for an insurance claim.

They did fine job. They were very responsive when I called them, by sending someone out. They came in under what they had estimated. The crew was all gentlemen, that were nice to work with. We did not have any significant damage.

They were great. They gave me a very reasonable price and willing to work around my schedule. The workman were very polite and professional.

Excellent move. Extremely careful with packaging and moving. Nothing was broken or scratched.
