The job went very well. The salesman was very good. They didn't leave any mess. It was a complete cleanup afterwards. I'm used to working with roofers and home improvement people. Their price was reasonable for what they did. It was completely excellent. There was not any that I knew of at the time that I would've recommended myself. The company is very good.

My initial appointment was scheduled with Sean Sayre October 3, 2011 at 5PM. I waited until 5:15PM and called him to see when he would arrive. He stated that he forgot to write down the meeting time on his calendar and had overlooked it. He rescheduled for the next day at 5PM, he did show up around 5:30PM. My initial thoughts were that I am not sure if I would want to waste my time with this company with the poor communication, but wanted to give them a chance. Eventually, Sean did arrive and did an excellent job documenting all the pictures I needed to turn into my insurance company. I am very detailed in all my work and I had several questions for Sean. He took the time to explain all the questions I had for him, and provided me with all the pictures and estimate within two days. I reviewed the estimate and had several questions,Sean was readily available to answer all my questions each time I called. He made recommendations to add synthetic felt underlayment and add ice/water shield on all my eaves. Once I committed with Coomer; the material arrived three days (Thursday) later, and the installation started on the following Monday. The work was completed that same week on Friday, because we had three days of constant rain. The crew did a very good job cleaning up after they left the job site during each work day, Overall, happy with the quality of the work that was performed on my roof. Initially, we had the communication problem, but they improved greatly after our initial meeting. It was a good experience working with Sean.

I called them on Wednesday, 10/26/11, and was told the message would be given to someone and they have not contacted me back.

Our home had hail damage from recent storms, Coomer did the work for us. Dom was who we worked with and he was phenominal. Very responsive, he even met the insurance adjuster at our house to show where our damage was. He was always timely and we were very happy with the work, our roof and gutters looks great!!

They were excellent. I highly recommend this company. They were very cooperative and answered all of my questions. They cleaned up and were prompt. They were here the day they said they would be and they were here all day.

The company did a great job. They saved me a lot of money by putting the new roof over the old one. The cleaned up everything completely and even sent out an employee the next day to make sure everything was put together properly.

Although I did not end up contracting with Coomer Roofing to install a new roof on our house, I was very happy with my contact with them. Phone calls were returned promptly, questions answered, and estimate sent.

Doug was really nice. He stopped by the same day we called, gave us a reasonable quote, and even sent people over the next day to patch our roof for free while we were still weighing on different quotes. We are glad we used them. They did a good job.

Matt gave me an estimate on the spot. It was very comparable to other estimates I had received. He was also able to deduct the $200 coupon that was given to Angie's list members. They scheduled the work as soon as I returned from vacation. It took two full days. The workers were very concerned about my landscaping. They used tarps to cover my plants to insure that no damage occurred. They worked from 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM the first day, and 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM the second day. Luiz walked with me around the perimeter of my home before they left to insure the area was clean and to answer any questions. They also used a magnetic roller to check for any roofing nails. They did an excellent job.

I bought a new house and didn't realize the big flat roof on the back of it was leaking. (The house inspector could not make a thorough investigation of the roof as it icy when he came.) Doug Miller came for an estimate and explained many things about my roof and gave several options about dealing with the flashing on the front of the house. He was very informative. Between rain and working on other roofs, it took a while for me to get on their schedule which i found a bit frustrating, but it was worth the wait. The work crew went above and beyond what they were required to do. They cleaned up after themselves very well and took pride in their work. It took more than a day to finish the job and they still came back for short periods of time until the job was done.

The young man that came out put some caulking up on the roof at the vent. Shawn Sayer came out and was very nice and pleasant and took care of my problem. The vent pipes were in need of repairs and he addressed that and there were no charges. He indicated that the roof was okay for now. I will probably use them for my new roof when I am ready.

It was a great experience. After seeing the company on Angie's list, we also were referred by a friend who has had several roofing jobs done by Coomer. We contacted Doug and he was very responsive. He provided our estimate quickly. We obtained several estimates and Coomer had the best price. The work was promptly scheduled and the job was completed quickly. The quality of the work was great and the roof looks fantastic. The crew did a great job of cleaning up.

They responded within a day with a rep that came out and gave an estimate for the work. They showed up in a timely manner. They got the work done exactly how we asked. They were reasonably price and they did a good job.

Always an excellent experience with Coomer!

I had Coomer out in the spring of 2010 to repair/replace a small flat roof near my kitchen on the back of my house. Water was leaking through the ceiling and this was thought to be the problem. They replaced the flat roof and all seemed well. A couple of months ago, I noticed water coming in again. I initially thought the flat roof was the culprit again and asked Coomer to come back out. One of the original technicians who worked on the flat roof the first time came out to troubleshoot. It turned out that the leak was originating further up the roofline and is most likely bad flashing. The technician informed me that the manager would have to come back out and give another estimate, which I was fine with. I asked the tech to have the manager call me asap to schedule. I have never heard from him, and after at least two other messages left, still have not heard a peep. Because I was tired of staring at the hole in my ceiling where the water damage had occurred, I"ve since hired a different company. It really is too bad Coomer was unresponsive, because I thought they did a good job last spring with the work they did.

They showed up on time and did a good job. They did some extra work for me for free. They were very friendly. All my dealings with them were always good. They brought samples and we looked through and made a decision which color I wanted. They gave a five year warranty and stood by it. I called a year later and had them come out to look at a spot.

Upon asking for an estimate to fix a leak in our roof, we made an appointment for 1:30pm the following Wednesday. On the appointment date, the estimator called a half hour ahead of the appointment time stating that he was at the property. We weren't available to go home early so the estimator took instruction of where the leak was and he stated that he would take a look and get an estimate together. Upon making it home at 1:30 at the originally agreed on time, the estimator had apparently completed the work and was not there. The following day, we called to receive a copy of the estimate, but did not reach estimator directly no calls were returned. We left multiple messages with the estimator directly. He eventually called us back 3 days later and stated that the estimate was mailed. We called the company directly on day 4 and they stated that they would get with the estimator to get the requested estimate. We never heard back. The conversations with the people were good, but obviously there is no follow through. I hate to give a bad review to the company based on what most likely is a single bad employee, but that single bad employee gave us the reason to not use this company for our repair work. We did receive a letter afterwards apologizing and informing us that the employees wife was pregnant and had unexpected complications making him inaccessible.

They did a great job. Their communication was ok. I know several of my friends that were pleased with this company. I would recommend this company.

Coomer replaced the roof of our previous house, so we know they do good work and wanted to give them a chance to quote work on our current house. Dom came out and gave an estimate for a new roof, siding, and gutters for our home. Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He even brought samples out and left them for us to look at. We obtained estimates from other companies for the same work, and Coomer was competitive, however, in the end we decided to go with another company, based solely on personal preference of materials. If the need arises, we will definitely call Coomer again for an estimate.

The roof was done nearly 3 months ago, and we've had lots of wind and rain without any problems with leaks or loose shingles. Also, the upstairs has stayed cooler without the attic fans. It seems like Brad was right when he said the fans were interfering with the air flow. We cannot say enough good things about Brad's knowledge, expertise and communication. Additionally, the Coomer roofing crew did a terrific job. They were very hard working, respected our privacy, cleaned up the work site, and protected our deck and landscaping. (Our rain gauge was broken, but not a single plant was damaged). I have high expectations for work ethic, and this crew exceeded them! We will call Coomer Roofing again if we need roof repair, and we highly recommend them to others. They are dependable experts who are easy to work with.

The office staff was excellent.The estimate was done quickly and efficiently and the work was scheduled and completed on time. The reason we wouldn't use them again was the workers were sloppy on the caulking. They left cigarette butts all over the area and even threw one down from the area (upper terrace) that they were working on and burned a hole in one of our outside chair cushions when they threw a butt below. At the minimum, they should have used a shop-vacuum to clean up the wood shavings and cigarette butts. In general, contractors should smoke in their own vehicles and not on other people's property.

Wow! The salesman was able to give me an estimate just two days after I called. One week later his team showed up at 9:00 am and worked until 8:30 pm. They were amazing. They did a complete tear-off on both my house and garage and then installed a new roof. They repaired a few spots that were in bad shape. My chimney had been having some condensation problems which resulted in wet plaster inside my kitchen. It has been one week since the new roof was installed and the wet plaster is already drying. They installed ridge vents on both the house and garage. Already I can tell a difference in the level of heat and humidity in both buildings. The workers were very professional and very polite. They answered any questions I had and even helped me take photos of the tear-off job (I need to contact my previous roofer because I paid for a full tear-off nine years ago and it obviously wasn't done). Their work ethic was incredible. My yard has quite a few flowers, shrubs and gardens all the way around the house. These guys did their best to spare as much as possible. I was/am very impressed by that. Lastly, their cleanup was in keeping with their high standards of work. In the week since the job was completed I have found a total of 3 roofing nails. There were a few (about 4) minor things that needed tended to after the job was finished - a quality control rep from the company came to my house the next working day and took care of all 4. I am quite pleased with this company and their work.

They came right when they said they would and when they didn't finish they came the next day like they said they would. They needed to order a few more asphalt shingles which they did and anything left over they took. Their own inspector was here 2-3 times that day to make sure everything was done right and he also came when everything was done. We had to have some of our roof decking replaced because of a leak that had been around the chimney so they took it clear down to the decking and replaced the pieces that need to be replaced. Then they put on the new shingles. It took about a day and a half and we were very pleased with their work. For the price, it was a wonderful job.

Called them to bid on roof storm damage. They came out and understood we needed the bid yesterday. I called several times to get the bid but they never called back or got us a bid.
