They were very professional from the gentleman, who came out and gave me the estimate to the roofers, who came out and did the job correctly. They were given my permission and their bosses permission to continue to do the work, that day to repair the damage left from another company. I will use them again.

Gave me their opinion and no work needed to be done. They did not see any damage. I really appreciated them coming out because I was one of the few that did not need a new roof. I appreciated their honesty and their willingness to check out my roof.

After some research, I settled on Coomer. They were rated highly in AL, and had a POH nomination. I spoke with Doug Miller, who was very friendly and helpful. I explained the location of the leak and the problem, and he said that it sounded like they needed to replace the plumbing boot, and that they would take a look as soon as possible. (This was a month or so after the very damaging hail storm on the NE side of Indy, so we didn't set up an actual appointment). Awhile later, they replaced the plumbing boot and a few shingles around it and I have had no problems since. Great company!

They were very quick to make an appointment to get out to the house. They didn't disturb us at all while they were there and they mailed the estimate back to us within a couple of days. There estimate was extremely competitive. We did not use them because our insurance company wanted us to use one of their "preferred" contractors.

A representative of the company brought many roof samples out to our home. We chose our two favorites and they came back with actual shingles and put up 4 foot square samples on the roof, next to each other so that we could compare the two and see how they would compare to the old roof. The crew was dependable and English speaking. They started at a reasonable hour in the morning and worked a full day. The big project would have been finished in two days had it not been for bad weather. When the rain started they quickly secured the unroofed area with tarps. They returned as soon as weather permitted and completed the job. Their clean-up was fantastic and I have not observed a single nail or piece of roofing left behind. This company exceeded my expectations in every way. I would definitely use them again.

I left a message with a receptionist. She said that the gentleman that does the estimates, Dom, would give me a call back in order to schedule an appointment for the estimate. He never called me back, nor did anyone else from this company.

Coomer Roofing was one of several companies I contacted for estimate. I believe their estimate was a little low, when compared to the square footage estimates I received from several other roofers. However, it was a very complete estimate and spelled out exactly what they intended to do. I decided to go with another company, however.

We did not use Coomer, however were impressed with their promptness and professionalism when they came to give us an estimate.

They were extremely nice and courteous.

Coomer was quick to respond with a very competitive bid to complete our roof. They completed work within 5 weeks of their bid and we have been pretty pleased with the outcome. We did find a lot of loose shingles, some left over tools and some unfinished work upon seeing the roof for the first time the next day. For the past 3 weeks though, I have tried to contact them to come and finish some of the job that did not get finished due to them finishing late at night. Some caulking around the fireplace and some cosmetic touches were all that needed done. I have been told that someone will be out to fix it ASAP, and it still hasn't happened. It's just been frustrating that I have to continue to follow up on them for the work.

Crew2 determined that they would be unable to install the storm door due to the unusual configuration of our doorway and because non-standard installation was not covered by their installation service contract with Home Depot. The previous storm door had apparently been modified to fit the frame/doorway. Even though they could not install the door per their Home Depot contract, they did suggest modifications, pointed out a water leakage configuration problem with our current doorway and suggested two different types of door (other than the one we ordered) that would be less prone to water damage if we couldn't change the doorway configuration. While we were disappointed that they couldn't install the door, we appreciated their suggestions.

Coomer came out and bid on replacing a roof on a property that I'm planning to buy. I did not buy the property, so didn't use Coomer. I was very impressed with their expertise and completeness of their written estimate. I recommend them.

They sent out a very nice young man and he provided a very detailed estimate at no charge. I should have picked this company.

I could not have asked for any better service, very helpful. They bent over backwards to assure I got what I wanted. Very pleased.

It worked out fine and he was nice to deal with, he's going to re-roof my home because of the hail.

Company representative indicated that their schedule was out 4 weeks just for estimates.

The service was a little slow, although generally they were really good to work with.

They did a fantastic job. We have a house which had no access and a lot of expensive landscaping which was all perfectly maintained while the work was being performed. I would definitely hire them again to perform roofing work.

I contacted Coomer Roofing to schedule an appointment with one of their estimators - based on their Angie's List rating. The receptionist took an attitude with me when I asked to be present when the estimator came to my home, rather than having an estimate just ''dropped off'' in my door. She proceeded to tell me that over 500,000 homes were damaged in the hail storm earlier this spring, and it would be several weeks before they could even look at my roof and gutters. I am OK with waiting and I am OK with the fact there are 499,000 other customers out there. What I am not OK with is being hung up on when I ask for a little good old fashioned customer service. I hope they are banking all this big money they are making from the hail storm last spring - with ''customer service'' like this, they won't be in business without a future act of God.

They were prompt, the price was fair, and we couldn't get others to come out as promptly due to the hail storm. They worked it out for us. So far, so good.

Coomer Roofing Co. is a very professional and competent roofing company. We had a very bad situation, and they did a great job on budget and schedule. We particularly appreciated their friendly attitude and accommodating style. They did an excellent job of protecting the property adjacent to the roof, as well as overall clean up of the job site when they finished. We highly recommend Doug Miller and his team!!

The crew was prompt and did the work on a very cold January day. The work was done to correct a defect in the original work when the house was built. The same crew came back to repair some shingles loosened in the same area after a strong wind storm early this spring.

AN ELECTRIC NAILER WAS USED TO ATTACH ROOF. THE NAILS ARE POPPING UP THROUGH THE SHINGLES, REQUIRING REPAIR TO ROOF (WHICH WAS INSTALLED ON 2-27-06). I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THE COMPANY STATED THEY USED PROPER LENGTH NAILS IN ELECTRIC NAILER, AND NAILS COULD OR SHOULD NOT POP OUT.

They gave me a written proposal for the job and when I decided to go with them I sent the proposal to them to start the work. When I called them to see when they would start they told they had lost the proposal. They told me they would call me back in a couple of hours, but it has been exactly one week and I have heard nothing. I think this shows very poor customer service. I will be going some where else to have my work done.

Showed up when they said, did the work in a timely and professional way. Clean up was excellent, made sure to protect plants around home. Had a few complaints with decking repair, Dom came out and listened to my views, sent out a crew two days later and fixed the problems.
