Good, honest appraisal and estimate, fast and efficient work, but less than stellar clean-up.

Cheap estimate and they were timely. Roofer knocked one of the fixture off the ceiling and as far as I know they corrected this.

We called three roofing/gutter replacement company's for estimates. Sean was very prompt in coming to our home on a Saturday, for free estimate of complete replacement. We were given discount for being an Angie's list member. Work was finished before the two other companies responded to our initial call giving all contact/directions details. I never saw the roofing crew (my wife did) because the materials were in my driveway when I left for work and the roof was finished when I got home from work. The gutters were finished a few days later by another crew. All work was excellent and the clean up was excellent by both crews. None of our plants, shrubs or anything else was damaged. The materials used (my choice) were all very good quality.

They did respond quickly but it took a little while for them to come out to do the work. They did a good job and were very professional. They followed up well and I would use them again.

During the quoting process, Brad King was very helpful in quoting all options requested replace with same material (standard 3-tab), upgrade to dimensional and the option to also have the gutters done]. All phone calls were always returned promptly. Brad seemed happy to provide proof of liability insurance for the job to be completed on my property and was also very accommodating in providing a release of lien on the materials used. I twice requested and received lists of addresses of homes in the Indy area that had the two roof colors I was considering for my home. The time from quote to installation was a bit longer than expected but acceptable. The installation team was exceptional, more than one neighbor commented on their speed/efficiency, neatness and quietness (we've had some roofing teams in our neighborhood who have been obnoxiously loud, particularly with regards to music). Only complaint is that back gates were left open at end of day and family dog could have been lost.

They did a pretty good job. They took care of the leak, but didn't do one of the things with the flashing around the chimney because of the weather. It's not causing a problem, so I'm not worried about it.

They made a lot of little errors. I had a problem with the first rain that I had after the job was done. I called them, and they sent someone out in about 20 minutes to fix it. They were also supposed to fix a vent for me, and I had to call them to remind them that it needed to be done. I got a bill from them, but I told them I wasn't going to pay because the vent still wasn't done. They came out to put the vent cover on, but they brought the wrong color. I just had them put it on to be done with it. They also had to caulk a couple more leaks, at least 3 more times. They put nails in the gazebo that were too long, so now they stick through. The same thing happened in the garage as well.

Their prices were fair and they guaranteed their work.

I asked if the gutters could be removed so that we could paint behind them. Dom said that they usually like to do the work in one day so my husband took the gutters and downspouts down. Later the gutter guys said they would have been glad to remove them so that we could paint and often do so. Our garage was blocked in, luckily my husband hadn't come home from work yet. The work was completed quickly.

Promptly arrived in November and left estimate for reroofing and gutter job. Contacted the office at the end of April to hire the company. Sean Sayre immediately called me to schedule an appointment to finalize details. He was prompt and completely answered all questions. The roofers came out the following week to spend one day roofing. They cleaned up everything and did an excellent job. Several weeks later the gutter workers came to complete their portion of the work. I am pleased with the Sean's professionalism and communication skills. He let me know when the jobs were to be done, as well as a follow up call making sure everything was completed to my satisfaction.

They were excellent. They came out first of all of the companies we called. They were very honest in saying we did not have hail damage but there were a few minor repairs needed and gave an estimate for such at no additional charge. When I do need roofing work I will call Coomer Roofing.

They had a reasonable price. They were very professional and responsive. We did have a leak but they were out right away to fix it. They seemed happy to answer all the questions I had. The only problem we had was that they did not come and do the last few minor things to complete the job initially. They finally came to take care of those issues it just took them awhile to get here.

Coomer was great to work with, they took the insurance adjuster's report and worked from it. They ended up replacing all roof and gutters for the insurance amount, even though the adjuster had noted hail damage on only part of the gutters and garage roof. Dom with Coomer was very responsive and on top of the job. I arranged last fall for a spring re-roof and as promised, they called this spring when they were ready to do the job. Dom also, caught that the wrong shingles had been delivered to my house, before the crew showed up to put them on. The insurance didn't cover my shingle upgrade, additional vents I asked to have installed, and decking/gutter board that needed replaced. the price for the add-ons was quite reasonable. I would definitely hire them again. The roofers were quick, thorough and cleaned up well. The gutter installers left several small pieces of gutter behind.

Good first impression. Seems very personable and honest. Was going to go with this company for roofing job, but another was recommended by personal friend with comparable price.

After a tree fell on the corner of our roof, Coomer was a rare roofing company that called back and was willing to do the repair. The location was difficult to quote, 3 stories up on a slope in a woods. Coomer's price was 1/2 of what the only other roofer that responded quoted. The rep could have done a much better job of letting us know when the work would be done. There were a couple of times that the work was supposed to be done and wasn't and the rep didn't call. Finally, two roofers arrived at about 6 pm and worked about 1 1/2 hours (till dark!) replacing a single row of shingles and about 60 feet of gutter and downspout. They also re-hung a downspout, on the other side of the house, that had lost its screws and fallen; this was work beyond the quoted job. I can't see the work, so did not comment on quality. Job was not quoted to the hour, so did not comment on punctuality.

We had the house on the market, found a buyer and his inspector note extreme hail damage, so he requested a full replacement. Due to the sale pending, we REALLY need to accelerate the process - and Matt did the estimate right away and soon as I knew my insurance company would cover it, he got it scheduled within days. The workers damaged some siding, but Coomer made good immediately. He was courteous, professional, and got it done - much appreciated at a very critical time.

Very good job. The roof was technically challenging with tons of gables and dormers. They did the job in two days flat. There were a few minor minor problems after the job, but I wrote up a punch list and they were taken care if right away! Very good experience. I had to be patient for the work to start because almost every roof in central Indiana is being replaced now, but once the job was started they finished right away.

I worked with Dom. He was professional and friendly. They were prompt and did an excellent job. Cleaned up well after the work.

Coomer was quick to return my call. Sean was very upfront and honest. Was surprising quick to get the job done considering the weather conditions. The wood trim had to have a groove cut into it for a proper fit; this additional work did not change the cost of the job. This made me feel more confident in the quality of the work performed. My only concern with Coomer was not keeping me informed with the tentative date on having the work done.

Initially it was great, until it rained then it leaked again. Not as much as it had previously leaked, but it leaked. I called Dom Coomer and he got someone out the next day and it was fixed. I have to admit, that Dom mentioned that the likelihood of getting the problem 100% the first time may not get it. This was because not knowing where and what all had been done was yet to be revealed. As I looked for a company to consider to do the work the first time I was not only interested in how many good reports the business had, but also how would they resolve any problems or issues after the job was finished. Coomer has excelled in this area and I'm not necessarily looking to do business with them again if I can help it...but if I need to I would not hesitate to call for any future home improvement projects.

I called Coomer Roofing Company on 12/12/06 to get a quote for replacing my roof. The woman who answered the phone asked me for my information, which I provided. She then informed me that someone would be in contact with me the next day. Today is 01/21/07, and no one from the company ever called me back or tried to contact me in any way. I have since selected another company to replace my roof.

Excellent. Mr. Battinau came out to give an estimate. He apologized for being early! He inspected other areas of leakage in the house. He even got up in the attic! He was professional and knowledgeable about what I needed done. He is also very personable. We talked about everything from sports to recipes. Most importantly, he inspected the leak problem, my vents and leaf guards as my insurance company recommended. He told me things that I didn't need repaired that my insurance company had already recommended for repair. He said many of the repairs would be for aesthetic purposes only. Who looks at your vents!

It took one month from estimate to have the leak repaired and the shingles replaced. Coomer was unaware of when their supplies were delivered to my home (3 days before they called to say "they would be delivered tomorrow.") Following the shingle replacement, I noticed that trim on my roof was damaged. I called THREE times to report the damage. I had no calls returned and no damage repaired. I was sent a "Past Due Invoice". I sent a letter to summarize my complaints. The next day (before the letter had a chance to arrive) I had a voicemail message, asking why I had not yet paid. I called the same employee FOUR more times (we talked 3 times, I left 1 voice mail). Every time I was told "I sent someone out yesterday, it should be done." After I said I was tired of the same story, the trim was finally repaired. This was 58 days, 7 calls and 1 letter after I had originally reported the damage.

Was not pleased with the length of time between signing the contract and the work being done. Did a great job on the roof and gutters. Took care of problems when they arose. When they did call and say they were ready to put the roof on they were punctual and put the roof on in one day.

Sean Sayer kept his appointment time to look at our roof, which was damaged in an April 2006 hail storm. His was the second estimate we received and was within the budget of our insurance adjustment, so no money came out of my pocket. Sean was able to order the upgraded shingles we wanted in the color we wanted. He was also able to schedule our house earlier than estimated and almost got the roof done in one day, but it was dark by 6 pm. The following day a gutter crew came and replaced all the gutters. I sent Sean a short punch list of minor things, which was corrected within the week. It was only after all the work was complete that the invoice was sent. It was great not paying any up-front money. I'd recommend Coomer to anyone needing a roof or gutter work.
