We first called Lee to take advantage of the free initial consultation he provides to Angie's List members. During that initial meeting, Lee listened closely to our thoughts on the project we were considering and provided helpful suggestions and ideas. After the first meeting, he produced some preliminary sketches of the design to help us visualize how the room could look. Based on that first consultation, we decided to hire Lee to perform all aspects of the addition design. He began by producing more detailed interior and exterior renderings of our addition which he then revised as necessary based on our feedback. Once we agreed on the design, Lee created detailed construction drawings that we will be able to give to contractors to allow them to bid the job. Lee was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He listened carefully and, while always quick to offer helpful suggestions, never tried to push his ideas onto us. He was always very responsive when we called or emailed him questions. Finally, at each stage of the project, he told us how long it would take him to complete the work associated with that stage and he finished when he said he was going to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lee to anyone who needs architectural services.

We hired Lee Constantine to do an addition to our home which was a kitchen and dining room. Lee came and talked about what we wanted in terms of space. He took photos of the house, measurements and general suggestions. After we decided to hire Lee he came back to talk to us about design fees, our expectations and style and what we were wanting to spend. He drew several sets of plans after we kept making changes and never seemed upset over revisions. He added character to the exterior of our home which it needed badly and the kitchen is better and bigger than I expected. Neighbors have stopped by to say how much they like the design and how the addition looks like it has always been a part of the house. He did come out while things were under construction and did email me to make sure everything was going well. Lee is very easy to communicate with and has great suggestions. I am really glad that we hire him.

We did not select Lee for our project but I am extremely confident he could handle the job.

Lee was great - spent a lot of time with us, asking questions and having us think about items we should consider before proceeding with any work. We decided not to invest in the renovations in our home, but will definitely contact Lee if we ever have a need.

They are easy to work with. The work turned out fabulous. I would recommend them. I would use them in the future.

I was in town working on my new property today and ran into some difficulty knowing how far to proceed in demolition for my renovation. I looked at Angie's List and recognized a name someone had given me--that was Lee's. I called and he was able to come over quickly and make an assessment. His professionalism was outstanding! Very knowledgeable and seems like he works well with folks trying to do some of their own work, especially women. He made some recommendations which I will be following. I have some other projects and probably will hire him for his expertise. I would not hesitate to recommend his work.

I am doing an add-on and remodeling of an old farmhouse. Lee was such a great designer architect to work with on this project. A combination of ideas created such a nice looking house with keeping the theme of the old farmhouse throughout the home. Now the project has started and even the contractor doing the framing, windows and siding has complemented on Lee?s work. I do not think this construction process would be going any smoother with using another architect.

Lee was prompt, polite and professional. He was available to work around our schedule. He listened to our ideas and combined those with his creative suggestions. Lee made our renovation dream come to life. We would work with Lee again if given the opportunity.

The project is still going on. The architect took an idea and turned it into some conceptual drawings. We then contacted a set of builders for the project. I had never used an architect before and I got references online. The architect?s portfolio was really strong and he was easy to work with. He could take some pretty abstract ideas and turned them into reality or three dimensional ideas. So that was one of the biggest assets that he had. He was very patient with us and helped us through the process. It was a very transparent and step by step process. It was well worth the money we paid. Everything was absolutely better than expected. He provided personal service and he wanted to make sure that we got what we wanted out of the project. We went through a number of details. His customer service was excellent. He did a really good job. It?s a small company and he is a single guy doing the work. He certainly had some very creative ideas. Everything about him was perfect. I would highly recommend using his services and we would use him again.

From the initial discussion with Lee Constantine about the master bed/bath addition and existing bath renovation, Lee was extremely professional. The floorplans and renderings for the remodel/addition went beyond my expectations. I was excited to see the effective use of space and the creative design. I couldn't be more pleased with Constantine Design Group!

Mr. Constantine arrived on time; he is very low key which is nice. He took time to ask many questions about my wants and needs in a new kitchen as far as design, appliances, likes and dislikes. We have not hired Mr. Constantine as we have not decided whether or not to do the project.

Lee is an exceptionally creative designer. The designs blend with existing home and architecture. He may also present alternative ideas and visual sketches that help in finalizing a selection. He provided 3 options for exterior work and we were able to select the one that met our needs and budget, selecting elements from among the 3 designs.

He was very creative in his design for the kitchen. We could not be happier, and it was a tough project. He is fantastic to work with, and has good interior designers that he works with. He understands old houses and lives in one himself in Irvington. He is very detail oriented. If you are in a big hurry, you will want to manage that trait, but for us it was completely worth it. He is very particular about the quality of components, but is careful with your budget as well. He is a really nice guy. You will enjoy working with him.

It was easy to schedule the consultation. Lee arrived promptly. He had a number of ideas for my project which he shared willingly, sort of a brainstorming session. He showed me his portfolio which was impressive. I appreciated seeing both rough drawings and official, take-to-the-city-for-permit drafting pages. Lee was enthusiastic about my project and very clear about services and service options, along with the potential costs of each. He seemed very well experienced. He provided many references, one of which I called; the owner was very positive about Lee. I chose someone else for architectural services due to personal recommendation from a friend. Without that, I would have had a much harder time choosing. Lee Constantine was a VERY close second!

HE IS PUNCTUAL, HARD WORKING, FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. HE DESIGNED ATTRACTIVE AND INVENTIVE SOLUTIONS TO ADD MORE SPACE TO A SMALL HOUSE.
