The project went great and we are very pleased with the results -- it's like we have a new house. Charley & Karen are great to work with and competively priced. Charley is very knowledgeable and builds structurally sound. His coworker Jeremy is the best trim carpenter that we have seen. Charley & Karen not only listened to what we wanted and were willing to discuss options; but also they told us if something wouldn't work. We felt very comfortable with them working in our home. They cleaned up each day before leaving. Will definitely hire them again!

On his initial visit, Charley explored my basement (ceiling would have to come out for rerouted water lines) and garage (electrical panel exam) with what came across as years of seasoned knowledge about building custom homes. He hand-delivered the detailed quote which was very competitive. His explanations were thorough and clear. It was a tough decision, but given that the investment in a kitchen remodel is thousands of dollars, I felt that I needed to get a few bids. Although CK DESIGN wasn't awarded this job, I am confident that Charley and his team would have provided excellent service and a beautiful new kitchen. I highly recommend them.

Excellent experience. Charley and Jeremy kept a tidy work space. They know exactly what they're doing and as a result they minimize the pain of an already painful process. We have another large project coming up and we'll definitely use them. Having contractors in your home can be invasive and can be very uncomfortable. Charley and Jeremy are very aware of that and we felt comfortable having them here. Can't say enough good things.

As always with them, the job went excellent. Very happy with the results.

The contractor was very responsive to any questions I had. The workers were courteous and skilled. Cleanup after the work was done was exemplary.

The work was completely satisfactory, they were willing to come back and fix the toilet because it was installed incorrectly, gave excellent advice about cabinetry, countertops, built a custom wall unit with built in medicine cabinets from something I had shown them in a magazine.

They great job and consider them the Cadillac of home remodelers! They do outstanding work and love the tile work they do.

It went just as planned and the work was very professional. You could not tell from one day to the next we were having any renovations done . Very neat and tidy. Very punctual

Excellent. Was a last minute decision to remodel, and this is the third job we've had Charley and his staff complete for us. They responded immediately, worked with our Holiday schedule, our desire to do a little of the work to keep the cost down, and had the job done in a week.

We didn't get very far into the master bathroom work. We thought that they understood our budget, but it seemed that the owner clearly didn't understand what we wanted to do when he came out with a bid that was about four times as much as we could pay. They were nice people. I felt that they were honest. They just didn't work for us for what we were trying to do. It's a small, family-owned, personal company. You have to be prepared for a lot of talking. You will get honest, good work. However, he isn't good at giving you line-by-line pricing.

We were very happy with their work and we would give them all A's on everything they did. The bathroom work was actually just a small part of the renovation project that they did on our home. One thing that I really like is that if you say that you don't want the most expensive products, they will listen to you, and will not try to push things on you that you can't afford.

They did great overall. They had worked for our neighbors, and they came out and met with us. He talked to me very easily, not just my husband. He was very easy to talk to and easy to work with. They gave us a great price bid, they got it set up quickly, and they cleaned up very well. We ran into some additional problems besides what they had fixed, and he got a hold of someone for us who could fix it right away.

We were extremely happy with every aspect of this project. The Pfeiffers are wonderful to work with and have great design and decorating ideas. Our project was quoted to take about 8 weeks and we finished just under that time period. Mr. Pfeiffer went above and beyond and completed little "extras" for us that were not part of the original contract. He also recommended things once the project started that would ultimately make things better for us, but actually created more work for him. All the subcontractors used were excellent. Everyone was very respectful and cleaned up their "messes" each night before leaving. Mr. Pfeiffer communicated very well with us regarding each phase of the project and when people would be coming and going from our house. We have 3 children and everyone was very understanding of their presence. Before the project started, the Pfeiffers were very clear about what would be occurring and were great with following up with us when we had questions.

Everything went smoothly from the design to the workmanship to the quality of all work completed. They were always keeping us appraised of their progress and timing of the project.

THOUGHT SHE WAS VERY HIGH, ALTHOUGH CHOICE OF COLORS WAS GOOD, THEN DIDN'T CALL BACK

PROVIDED AND INSTALLED AN OCTAGONAL SHAPED WINDOW SHADE. SHE IS VERY CONSCIENTIOUS, EASY TO WORK WITH, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ACCURATE. SHE IS SOMEONE I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE AGAIN.
