This company actually charges for an estimate and doesn't allow you to apply the charges if you chose their firm. Be prepared to pay for an estimate. My fee for the estimate was going to be $92.50.

It was a mistake from apparently the provider I had before that they bought out. They did fine service, but it just was too bad that it had to happen.

We have a contract & are happy with them. They could coordinate their office staff with their representatives. They send out a broadcast, schedule your appointment, said they will call/contact you, you go into their calendar, fill it out. Then if you don’t get a contact back from them, you end up having to call in, which is why you do it online in the first place. We will get a letter to Mr. & Mrs. with our name and address, then the salutation will say Dear Mr. & Mrs. Smith. They don’t get things too coordinated.

They stick to their schedule and they always call us to let us know when they?re almost there. The technicians are knowledgeable and professional. They stand behind their service and if there happens to be an issue they always come back out to fix it.

Very well, Danny arrived at a nice early hour and went right to work on the furnace. He even wire-brushed the burners. Then, the AC, including a solid hose-off of the outdoor unit. Solid. Danny pronounced all systems go, intact and ready to use. Would definitely use again and can recommend.

AWFUL! When Bill arrived, I told him that I had trouble-shooted the unit per the instruction manual. According to the flashing code, the unit needed a new thermostat. Bill confirmed this when he also ran the test. Said he would contact his manager who would locate the part. I told him it was installed 2 years prior and had the papers showing it was under warranty. Bill said he'd have his manager confirm the warranty. Quite a long time transpired, maybe 45 minutes, during which the part was still not located nor a confirmation of warranty obtained as we waited on the manager; however the manager did tell Bill to let me know the charge to install this 'free' part would be $550. I told Bill there must be a mistake on that cost because the water heater only cost $900. He confirmed the amount for labor with the manager who "graciously" agreed to cut the labor fee to $500 instead of $550 to basically drain a water heater and screw a new part in/ attach wires to it from the water heater. Bill said it takes a while to drain a water heater, which I knew was nonsense because I've done this before. I suggested I could drain it while he went to get the part which they 'thought' would be about 5 miles from my house. Bill said he couldn't do that. I was outraged that this company was taking advantage of me, a single woman homeowner, on a Thursday evening, just before the Labor Day holiday. I spent hours on this company, which still had not located the part nor confirmed the warranty. I had to pay the $69 service fee---which was outrageous in and of itself because I had already trouble shooted it and knew what was wrong. I told Bill no thanks and contacted Turner Appliances, which had installed the water heater two years prior...I didn't initially go with Turner because they couldn't get a service tech to my home until Friday around 5 pm and I was concerned that I would be going into the holiday weekend without hot water...of course Chapman took advantage of this and me I spoke with a service tech at Turner who assured me the $550 labor price was indeed outrageous, that if I could locate the part, his tech could install it Friday evening so I'd have hot water. The next morning, I called the company which manufactured the water heater (made in the USA :)) and confirmed I was under warranty; then was given the name and number of Plumber's Supply Co which should have the part needed; called Plumber's Supply, put the part on hold and this all took about 10 minutes total. Another 15 minute round trip and I had the part. Danny from Turner came Friday evening to intall the part that took about 45 to 60 minutes total time. Said he didn't need to drain the water heater, just turn off the water supply. That was it! Charged $175 and Champman wanted to charge me $550 plus the $69 diagnostic fee! OUTRAGEOUS, SCAM!! I have no idea how this company ever gets an A rating because they are crooks and I hope no one ever uses them. There are many companies who are honest and don't screw you over!

Great! We had a few quotes and had felt pressure from other companies to fully replace our unit which was only 5 years old. The tech was so friendly and filled the coolant while waiting for the replacement part which was amazing because it was the dead of summer and I was 7 months pregnant and miserable without the AC! They did everything we asked and have since come back out for a maintenance check. We plan on using them for all HVAC services in the future! Can't remember the exact price / date but it was this past summer and I've just recently signed into Angies List and their service still stands out to me!!

Glen Jeffery, a Chapman Heating and Air Conditioning service technician, proved to be punctual, professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He repaired a faulty connection on our A/C unit that prevented the fan from stopping even when our thermostat had been switched off. He also inspected our furnace and provided much information regarding possible options for repair and replacement.

EDIT*** He told me that he would send back my service fee after I explained what had happened and how I felt that it was unfair. He said he didn't want to lose me as a customer. I have used them in the fast and have trusted them, and would like to keep using them in the future.

I have never had a company that was as prompt and took care of everything in such detail and cleaned up as well as this company. They were courteous in every respect. I couldn't be more pleased about their service. It was such a pleasure to work with all of them.

Previously installed by Bryant. The technician installed the wrong fuse, which was the likely cause of the problem. Chapman recently bought out Bryant. They did not charge me for the parts due to the negligence of the previous company. I thought this was above and beyond. Due to their professionalism and honesty, I purchased the yearly maintenance package. It means a lot to have someone you can count on.

Chapman came out immediately to fix that and did a through check up at no charge to us. They were absolutely prompt and through in their work. They just made sure that the equipment was working perfectly and even made a follow up call to make sure it still working properly. There were some damages from the leak and they are making good on replacing the item without any hassle at all!

It went pretty well, other than on the second call. They hadn't completed the initial issue, and wanted to charge me additionally for the service call. We ultimately wound up splitting the bill.

Upon finding out my previous provider went out of business, the same phone number I had was answered by Chapman. They did not try to sell me on their company but offered their services if I chose to do so. Glad I did! Super nice folks answered the phones and scheduled the service. The technician was very patient with all my questions and did a great job, cleaned up any/all work areas on both visits (always putting on shoe covering each time he re-entered the house). Couldn't ask for a better service provider and look forward to the Fall appointment. Thanks, Chapman!

Prompt, courteous, and thorough. We have used them in the past for HVAC and plumbing and had great results.

They installers arrived on time and were very professional. We couldn't be happier with our new AC. If you can call an AC beautiful, ours is beautiful. And very quiet. Randy, the salesman is wonderful. I remember him from when he sold us our new furnace several years ago. A very personable guy. He explained the different units available and showed me the energy savings with each unit. What impressed us the most is that he came out after the job was done to make sure everything was OK. Some salesmen sell you the product and could care less what happens after that. If you are looking for a great company, call Chapman. They have been in business for a long time. 25 years ago or more we had them install a furnace and AC at our old house. BTW, we had our AC installed the next day after we purchased it. No waiting forever to have it done. AWESOME!!!!!!

Our experiences with them have been good. We have always been happy with the services they have provided for us. They are pretty timely in terms of getting appointments. We pay $99 for three services in one year. Their price is pretty reasonable although it is slightly higher than the usual market price.

They do a good job. They are polite, on time and call if they are going to be late. They always give me the list of deals that are coming up.

They are close by, but they usually standby what they do. They are usually on time and it all depends on the technician the one I had the last time was pretty good. I would use them again in the future.

I have two houses, this was on the one I live in. The other house is being prepared for rental.

In addition to the annual furnace service, service technician explained their service agreement options available and I selected a 2 year agreement for both heating and air conditioning units and prepaid for the agreement.

There wasn't anything I disliked about them. They were very professional. They were neat about their work and they definitely knew what they were doing. They tore out the old system and put in the new system in like two days. They got things working great. They came in, did the job and left and it was like they never were here. They were really clean. They showed up when they said they were going to.

Our furnace that was 30 years old bit the dust. They came out and beat the other estimates we got with better a better unit. They made sure the unit they recommended was the right size for our house. The previous a/c and furnace were way too big for our house. We have seen both our gas and electric bills go down. Thank you Chapmans!!

My furnace stopped working. The service call revealed problems that would have cost over $1000 to repair. Due to the age of the furnace I asked for prices on a new furnace. Both the initial service call, the sales call, and the installation were very satisfactory. I can't judge the price but it seems in line with what others tell a good furnace costs. All Chapman representatives were very professional and I will continue to do business with them.
