Description of Work: I called Broad Ripple Tree Service to get a competing estimate on work that needed to be done. The office said they would have a man come out that afternoon to give us a quote. Three days later I found a card in my front door with a quote of $795. Because of the timing, the high price on this quote and the fact we did not have a chance to discuss it with the estimator we choose another company.

Description of Work: I called to get an estimate for tree trimming. They came out the same day for the estimate. They returned the following week as scheduled and trimmed a large tree and one small tree. They arrived on time and even worked in the rain to get the job done. The clean up was good and the trees looked good after the work was completed.

They were able to do the work promptly. They cleaned up after the work picking up even the smallest limbs that had fallen. They also suggested that we trim a tree that was near electric lines. It was not our tree, but they took the time to contact the neighbor and secured his permission to remove limbs that could have caused us a problem. They did not charge additional for this work.

He looked at the trees, told me how much it would cost, but said he didn't think I needed to do it: the trees were fine as they are. They promptly came out and cut the tree from the power line but left a mess in my yard. They informed me the responsibility to clean it up was not their problem. I called Broad Ripple Tree Service. Their representative was out promptly to evaluate the situation, then an appointment was made by his office to come out and cut the tree into pieces, chip it, and take it away. They showed up on time and did the work very fast and efficiently!
