Expected call after holiday for work to be done; however, Greg called on Sat to see if we were available for work to be done. Crew came out and completed work in 1 hour and performed good cleanup afterwards. Greg also pointed out issue of splitting limbs in tree and suggested quote of cable braces to keep tree from splitting in high winds. I would recommend this company.
Description of Work: Trim trees off house and garage roofs. Cut dead limbs out of tree.

 + -1 moreAll employees were responsive and courteous. Job was done several days before the scheduled date, and for a price that was $150 under the price quoted by a competitor. The crew was careful of other plantings, and left the site clean and tidy. I have many trees on the property, and will use this company again and again.
Description of Work: Company removed a very large, very dead maple tree from street side of property, cut branches into fireplace lengths. Carried them to rear of property and stacked them. Tree trunk was removed, and stump cut to approx. 3' above ground level.

 + -1 moreThey were very good, and came when scheduled. The only reason I gave the company a B for price was not that they weren't comparable with other providers, just that the prices quoted seemed high. Perhaps I am out of touch.
Description of Work: They removed a large old tree that was very close to the house. I paid extra to have the stump ground down, but they did the job very well in a tricky location without damaging the porch or the fence.

 + -1 moreEstimation was quick and pricing was on the high side, but they appeared to do a good job and left the work site clean upon their retreat. Problem came when the nursery called to set up a time to install the new tree. They asked if the old tree was completely removed. I told them that Carmel Branch Tree was supposed to prep the hole for replanting. I called Carmel Branch Tree to validate they did what they said they did and I was met with resistance from the front desk. She told me they weren't responsible for making the hole ready for a new tree, even after I explained that her work order they left behind stated this fact. She continued to argue with me and finally said someone else would have to call me back. All I wanted was to make sure they did what I hired them to do. I never received a phone call back. Lesson learned on my part.
Description of Work: Tree died and called to have them remove the tree and grind down stump so we can install a new tree in its place.

 + -1 moreI had contacted the owner during the winter, and we stayed in contact by email until the following spring when the work was finally done. The estimate and the work was done on time. When the workers finished, you would have never known they were there except for the big blank spots in the yard and the rick of firewood. I thought the price was a bit high, but considering the quality of work, it was worth it. I am a professional photographer, and I don't mind paying for quality, professional work.
Description of Work: Cut down and removed 2 large Hackberry trees, ground stumps and left cut firewood.

 + -1 moreEstimator never called. I came home several days after my call to the company and found a card stuck in the door with a quote for removing the fallen limb. The quote was for $425. I called another company. They removed the fallen limb for $70.
Description of Work: Estimate for removal of limb that had fallen on roof. Estimator was supposed to call to set appointment, because I wanted to explain and get estimate for other tree and shrub trimming & removal, I wanted done.

 + -1 moreWith their response, they sound reputable by being willing to return a 4th time for an additional fee. However, they wrote a private note to Angie?s list stating "we have put this customer on our ?do not work for list.?" Why should the job we hired them to do (and the owner agreed to do) require 4 trips & an additional fee? They also said I am difficult to work with, a chronic complainer (wrong - PLEASE see other submitted reports), & that I have even called to complain about work they did at my neighbor's house. Yes, I did because I referred them & they damaged my property as well as my neighbor's. They did not repair the damage. One of my biggest pet peeves is when service providers do not fulfill their responsibilities, charge for work not provided, & disrespect the property of another. ALL I ASK IS THAT THEY FULFILL THEIR COMMITMENT and do what we paid them to do. They have been paid in full & work is still not done.
Description of Work: We clearly described the work we wanted done, even though I was incorrect on the "species" of one particular tree. We agreed to meet their crew during a certain time frame & upon my arrival; their crew was already finished & gone. They apologized for their scheduling mistake. However, after I filed the original complaint, they blamed me for not showing up. They missed 2 of the main branches that were bid. Therefore, they agreed to send a crew out again. In their response below, they said they came out to do additional work at no charge. However, they did work I did not desired to be done. They still missed the 2 branches on the ONLY remaining tree on the property. After that, the owner came to see the branches missed both times. He agreed to send his crew out again. They removed one branch & not the other. How did they miss the largest branch for a 3rd time after the owner of the company came out to see what they missed twice before?

Then walked around with a cigar puffing to conclude his ''cost of doing business'' on a sticky note pad. Very Creditable..NOT..how could I pass up that kind of detail. The price was exaggerated and so was the sales representative. Amazing....Really Amazing.
Description of Work: Tree limbs and brush already removed and stacked. I need the limbs mulched and disposed.

Mr. Pat Flanagan came to give me information and estimates and then also performed the feeding and spraying. I will be using their services again in the spring.
Description of Work: Diagnosed problems with my trees, trimmed a crab apple tree, sprayed for insects on my locust tree and fed it. Discussed performing fungus treatments on my Hawthorne and crab apple trees next spring.

 + -1 moreThey provided very good work. One large tree was close to the house, fence, and other trees. It was removed with minimal damage to other tree branches and no damage to house or fence. They used two crews (8 people) and completed the job in about four hours. They were very professional and kept moving the whole time. The area looked nice and clean when they were finished.
Description of Work: Removed two large trees, ground up one stump, and cleaned up several trees and lots of large branches already on the ground. They chipped what they could and hauled the rest (two truck loads).

Description of Work: Removed dead mature hard maple tree and ground the stump, removed a younger maple and left stump at our request, shaped two smaller trees, removed a girdling root from another large maple, and trimmed out deadwood from yet another large maple.

They even divided the usable wood and neatly stacked it for me next to our fire pit. I have referred them to my neighbors. Nice guys.

Description of Work: They removed a large walnut tree from the edge of our driveway. Our granddaughters car was parked not far from the tree, and we were unable to move it. They were very careful of the car and brought the tree down, removed the stump, cleaned the area, and hauled away the tree in about one hour and 30 minutes.
