Provider showed up when scheduled and we discussed how the tree would be trimmed. They thinned the inside of the tree and shaped the canopy removing 2 feet of branches. They removed all debris, raked lawn area under tree and used blower to remove any remaining debris from driveway and sidewalks. They did a nice job and were quick and efficient. The tree didn't look like it had been butchered like some many trees I see in my neighborhood.

They took town shrubs and trees on our property, used a solution to take away overgrowth brush, they did the job very well, very efficient. They were a higher in price than the other companies we looked at but Broad Ripple does not mess around with getting the job done. Worth every penny.

Everything went fine - the people who came out did good work.

I have used Broad Ripple Tree Service in the past and was very pleased so they were one of 3 estimates I got for this job; they were the lowest bid so it made the decision easy. Their crew took down 7 spruce trees at the very back of my property that had been nearly hacked to death by utility crews pruning to keep them away from power and phone lines. This was not an easy job as they had to work around all the active lines. I called on a Monday morning to schedule the work, and by the time I got home from work on Wednesday the trees were all gone and the clean up was done. The person to grind the stumps came about 1 hour later and managed to manuever through tight spaces to nicely grind the stumps, with NO ruts left in the yard. Once again BR Tree Service met and exceeded my expectations!

It went very well. One tree was very close to the house and many windows could have been damaged. There was absolutely no damage to the house or property. They were on time, worked swiftly, and completed the job on time. We will use them again.

I can't believe how nice and tidy they always are. They have done this on several occasions when they've come to our home. They are very nice and professional. They ask lots of questions when needed. They are very prompt, and they will call you if they aren't coming exactly when they said they would. The owner is Jerry Dunlevy. The young man that was on site with the team was Gerardo. I was amazed. I asked them to trim a maple tree, and they explained why it would be best if they didn't. They really know their craft and what is best. I appreciate that they know exactly what they are doing. They are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain themselves. I also like that they do work well and together as a team.

My experience twice now has been excellent. They returned my call quickly and scheduled an appointment based on my availability. Someone came out to give me a quote within the week and priced the work in a way that was flexible based on exactly what I wanted done. The crew was on time, friendly, and did a great job. The work was of great quality and cleaned up before leaving. I felt the price was very appropriate for the work done...I'd even say it was a deal! I would recommend Broad Ripple Tree to anyone and will certainly use them again.

The crew arrived on time, the crewman in charge spoke with me detailing location of trucks/ plantings/ hardscape that might be affected. The tree sat very close to our home. The crew worked hard to ensure to the best of their control to bring the tree down w/o damaging our home, they were successful. Clean up of tree was done in a timely manner.

We had a very old and very large Am Beech tree to be taken down that was near our garage. The location of other landscaping made their work space a bit closed. They did a great job of not harming other trees and cleaning up. They took the whole tree down as well as grinding the stump out. It took them all day and they finally quit at 8pm but came back two days later to finish the stump grinding. They answered my questions and kept me infomed of the work that was being done.

Disrespectful and unprofessional service. They should have said what they really were going to use my driveway for and I would have absolutely said no. They definitely should have used either the driveway for the house that is their customer, or use the easement behind the customer's house. To cause disruption and expense to the customer's neighbor is ridiculous. Don't use them unless you don't care about your neighbors.

He did a good job. He arrived on time. We won't call him again only because we recently purchased a snow blower!

I was in my back room and all of a sudden heard a pounding noise on my front porch on Thurs, Dec. 27th which scared me. There have been suspicious people knocking at doors in our area. Hence my reason for asking Stephanie to have him call me before he comes which she assured he would do tomorrow, Fri., Dec. 28th. I saw a man on my front porch and asked the man who he was. He said that he was with Broad Ripple Tree Service. I saw a truck half way down my gravel driveway and went out to speak with the person, Jerry Dunlevy, the owner, to show him a scale drawing of the driveway, since he hadn't been here in 6 years, I thought it would help for him to remember. He rudely pushed my drawing aside and said that "I have been here before" and in the same breath said that "he didn't remember the long area being gravel and was trying to repair what he back scraped." He didn't want to look at the drawing since I had made changes and dismissed me totally. I asked if he would push the snow up to the red flags and not over (flower beds, landscape blocks, decorative stone). He didn't answer and proceeded to push the snow 5' over the flags on two quick passes, when I said "stop, please don't go over the flags." He got out of the truck and said told his assistant to "get in the truck, we're leaving". He continued "I been doing this for years and don't need your help. If there is a problem, it is because you designed the driveway." I shared "You don't seem to respect people when you treat clients this way. You were to come tomorrow and I was assured that you would call before you came. " He said, "Oh, shut up!" and left. His actions and words say it all.

I asked that no heavy equipment get on lawn so as not to leave ruts. Jerry the owner said ok. The workers did a great job at pruning and were courteous, and efficient. The stump grinder person came later that day and went across the lawn, leaving ruts and exposed bare soil in the lawn, looking unsightly. I called br tree about it and they said they would send out a team to repair it. They came but didn't seem to do much to improve the ruts. Terri came out to inspect on 11/05 and admitted the repair job was insufficient, said team would return for additional repair ( they did and repair was somewhat better but still noticeable). Terri said that the repair of ruts would have to wait until spring, that they would throw some grass seed on bare spots. He seemed to think that should be sufficient. OH great, we'll have bare spots until spring when some grass seed will be thrown down....Who is supposed to water the seed and makes sure it will grow?...Terri didn't offer that. Very unsatisfied with followup for lawn damage repair! We won't use Broad Ripple Tree Service again, since we didn't feel that they were very concerned about our damage after they got our $$$.

Did a great job, on time, work done to my satisfaction, crew was very friendly.

They were prompt in looking at the situation on giving me an estimate. When I decided to go with them they were prompt of coming out of taking care of the situation for me. They were organized, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. The end result was fabulous. You couldn't tell that there were trees prior to removing them. I would hire them again and would highly recommend them to others.

Very well. The arborist and crew appeared on time, drove their "cherry picker" truck up my neighbor's narrow driveway without touching the fence and carefully began trimming back the many dead branches on my old magnolia. The center trunk (of 3 trunks) had died and had to be removed. BR Tree Service trimmed that trunk down at an angle and higher than the junction of the three trunks to maintain stability of the other two. They then trimmed the outer edges of the crown of the tree to reduce stress on those, but did well maintaining the tree's profile. I watched while they trimmed, and they were very responsive to requests and suggestions. It was expensive, but I feel worth it to save this beautiful 60 year old tree.

After accepting a bid for tree trimming, Broadripple Tree sent out a crew while it was raining and when I could hear thunder. I called the office and said that I did not want to work done in these conditions and asked to reschedule. The owner called me back, said the rain was over, called me a b**** and told me to get someone else to do my tree work. Far from ending, the rain continued.

The start to finish of this job went extremely smooth. Terry responded to our request for an estimate for the work to be performed in a very timely manner. The crew was very hard working, courteous and a pleasure to work with. We were very happy with the end result .We have used Broad Ripple Tree Service before and will definitely use them again. Great job!

Quick quote within 2 days, good responsiveness. Very good, nice workers. The safety geek in me saw some areas for improvement in that arena that would be the only ding on professionalism.

They were prompt, they were courteous. They did the tree stumping without my even asking for it. They cleaned up after the work. They were very professional and wonderful to work with. The amount was $1800, but I received a significant portion of that amount back from insurance.

Came out and provided an estimate, which was approved on the spot. Within two days they called and said would be at the house to start the work and were very punctual. The crew was very professional, knew what they were doing and did what it took. They cleaned up and looked like no one was ever there. Very happy with the work and would definately use again and recommend their services!!

I received a call stating they would be there something this week to trim the tree. No specific time. I did not have to be there, they would send a bill. But I was there and they did a nice job. I thought the tree would look funny after the cut it, but they shorten it to the roof line of the house, cut is away from the house and left the shape. I was very pleased. They also cut off a couple of low hanging branchs on my other tree the hung over the sidewalk. I will use them again.

The six man crew was very professional and courteous. They were very good at cleaning up the yard. I would definintely use them again and recommend them to others.

I asked for an estimate from several tree trimming companies, and I thought the price quoted was fair. They were less expensive than the other company. They came on the day that they said were coming. I left them a check which they picked up. When I got home, I looked at all my trees. The work they did was more extensive than I thought they would do for that price. I was pleased with the work, and I think my trees look better. I can actually mow under several of them now, and I don't have dead branches poking me. The branches are no longer hanging over the house, and they cleaned up well after themselves. I had some old dead branches in the back yard, and they took some of them as well. They communicated well, and the lady on the phone was helpful and polite.
