He provided excellent service and while he couldn't ultimately fix the iPod, he continued to try and find a solution. Additionally, I called him and he worked with me remotely and over the phone to try and find an easy way to simplify iTunes and eliminate duplications. He also did not want to charge me for the extra time he spent on the iPod, which ended up being corrupt. I would highly recommend him and plan to use him in the future for all of my computer issues.

I took my laptop to Andy and he had it back in working order the next day. I had a problem with a program the next day and called him. He remotely loaded a program and got me back to work within a half hour. Great experience.

After discussing circumstances of my harddrive failure, BRCR outlined potential fixes, including something for me to try at home which would save some money, however BRCR also indicated that these fixes were longshots. Alternatively, BRCR gave me the name of another local componay that he thought would be better able to address my needs. Ultimately, even though I didn't actually use BRCR's services, I really appreciated the honesty and the willingness to point me in the right direction for my needs.

He came to my house. He got the work done in about an hour and a half. He was outstanding in all aspects in keeping me informed. very professional.

Andy came out to the house and repaired all the computers needing work, except one lap top needing a new drive. He wanted to return the computer earlier than we were able to be available. He immediately adjusted the schedule to work with us. He set new programs, cleaned up the memory, backed-up the information, and helped us with all our questions. Not only did the work quickly, he also was very responsive and helpful as the inevitable small issues surfaced when I got the computer back. I could call him and get prompt help with problems such as losing the volume icon on the taskbar. Would definitely work with him again.

I caused an error on my laptop that made it non-functional. Andy Dietz from Broad Ripple Computer Repair came on a Thursday, took the laptop back to his shop, and returned it the following Monday. He had to save my data, erase the entire hard drive, and re-install my operating system. My PC continued to run very slowly in spite of some work Andy had done on it earlier this year to clean it up. Andy installed some additional short-term memory and now the PC is running very well. When Andy was working on my PC earlier this year, he had to delete my system and restore it. As a part of that work, he installed WORD Version 7. After trying to use it for awhile, I really did not like it. So Andy deleted Version 7 and re-installed my original version of WORD on both the PC and laptop. Andy is competent, knowledgeable, professional and a very pleasant young man. He is very helpful with answering questions. He discussed MP3 players with me, and bookmarked an Amazon website so that I could check some out. I will rely on him for any computer problems.

I had a virus on my computer that prevented me from using it. Andy Dietz came on a Friday and took a look at it. He had to remove the computer to his workshop to work on it, and brought it back the following Monday. He had to totally clean out the hard drive and reinstall the operating system and my programs. He backed up all the documents and photos that were on the computer so that none of them were lost. He upgraded my Word to Word Version 7. He reset my Yahoo home page. My printer's troubleshooting software was not working, and he reinstalled the printer software. My computer had been operating with excruciating slowness, and it now runs very well. My previous virus scan program took up a lot of space on my hard drive, and I think was contributing to the slowness. Since it was expiring soon anyway, Andy deleted it and installed a new free Microsoft virus scan program, which he says is a very good one. My DSL connection was lost (red light on the modem). Andy looked at it, and it turned out I would have just needed to flip the switch back on on the modem. On my laptop, he cleaned out some junk so that the laptop now runs more efficiently too. He connected the laptop to my printer through my wireless router, which I had never been able to figure out how to do. He also installed Word Version 7 and the new virus scan on the laptop. He gave me advice on whether I needed to switch from my DSL provider to a cable provider, and answered numerous other questions. After he left, I later discovered that there was a problem with how to get into my Yahoo homepage. It was not urgent, and Andy called me several days later and remotely fixed the problem. Andy is a very nice young man and highly competent. He spent more time than he charged me for, and did everything he could to make both the PC and the laptop run as efficiently as possible. I definitely would recommend him to other people.

I have been looking some time for someone who serviced MAC. We had a mac book pro & just got an iMac desktop. I called Broad Ripple Computer Repair Monday morning & he came out that afternoon. He arrived about 10 minutes late but he called to let me know which wasn't any big deal. He performed different task on both computers. He told me that my existing printer wouldn't share a network as I wanted both computers to use the printer. He had some printers so I purchased 1 that was compatible with my computers. I'm so glad he had them because I didn't want to have to go out & buy 1 & wait to be installed. Andrew is very knowledgeable & very thorough in his work. I am so glad I finally found someone for my MAC computers! I would definitely use & recommend Broad Ripple Computer Repair to everyone, in fact he's coming back today, 2 days later!

When my hard drive crashed, I called the manufacturer and was told there was no way to recover my data. I paid them $100 for this privilege. (2008 computer was out of warranty). At the recommendation of friends, I was told to call a particular company. They quoted $250, said they may not be able to recover my data and that it would take several weeks. They were insistent on selling me a support program for $20 per month. When I called Andy, he picked my computer up that day and called the next day to say he was able to recover almost all of it! I was thrilled. I had so many family photos and videos that are precious to me. I had procrastinated and not backed up in ages. At my request, Andy installed an external drive and set it to back up daily. Andy is reliable, personal and professional. He answered all of my questions. I highly recommend him. I plan to use him for all my computer needs in the future.

Andy Dietz, owner of the company, picked up the laptop the next day -- did the work requested and delivered the reconditioned computer to us on the day promised. Overall the service and work was excellent.

I got a phone quote and the part was ordered without any advance payment. When the part arrived in a few days I set up a time to drop off my laptop for an hour and when I came back it was fixed. The cost of the repair, including the part, was very reasonable and I even have a spare hinge if the problem reoccurs.

The tapes that I had sitting in my attic in boxes were not going anywhere and I wanted to convert them into DVDs so that they would not go bad. Andy did a fantastic job of converting all of our family videos to DVD.

The only thing I didn't like about him was while he was working on the computer, he was also talking on his cell phone. He worked quickly and he worked competently. His price was fair. He came right away and in fact, he came early. I would use his service in the future.
