Description of Work: Andy responded quickly in a pleasant and professional manner. My computer needed a general "checkup." Andy helped me a lot by clearing out malware, properly installing antivirus, saving me money on a part and being very helpful all around.The grade would be an A, however Andy left his icon on my desktop |wherein he was supposed to be able to assist me remotely. This did not work and when I telephoned Andy he promised to correct things but did not.

Description of Work: The technician replaced my hard drive. Even though I lost my subscription with things like my Microsoft Office and computer protection program, he did install a great program that is similar and gives concept of Office programs. Only aspect I would forewarn is that having my hard drive removed limited his ability to restore my settings so I had a task to retrieve a Windows recovery disk from my computer company because he was not the computers owner and he was just not able allowed to get that part on his own.

 + -1 moreAndrew picked up the computers at my home and delivered both within the 48 hours promised. Because the Norton Anti-Virus didn't catch the Trojan that took down both computers, he recommended installing the Microsoft Essentials Security (it's free!), which is much better detecting viruses. He was so thorough to carefully back up everything on both computers, and reinstall not only the data, but web programs (AOL, iTunes) that he saw we were using. His onsite service was very professional and efficient, quickly setting up all the connections we needed to get back online asap and answer lots of general questions. I am so relieved to have discovered this bright professional, as he is not only half the cost of Best Buy's Geek Squad, but he exceeded my expectations. You can trust Andrew to fix your computer challenges. I also plan to hire him to transfer all of my home VHS movies to DVDs since he only charges $10 each, and will certainly do a professional job.
Description of Work: Virus removal in two Dell laptops. This required a complete hard drive back-up, Windows reload and update, and re-install of original hard-drive data. Andrew also spent an hour onsite when returning these computers to re-set up the home network, input iTunes library, install a better security software and offer other optimization suggestions.
