He came out and fixed the horrible sound the dryer was making. The dryer stopped working the next day and they came right back out. They were honest and timely. He said he tried the only thing he could do to keep it running longer and acknowledged that what he tried did not work. They refunded the labor charges from the first trip since they were unable to fix it. The dryer was about 15 years old, so it was just time to get a new one! They say they will call when they are on the way, and they actually do. I'd definitely call them again (hopefully not for my new dryer).

They arrived on time and the was problem was diagnosed and taken care of quickly. My original appointment was rescheduled since one of the servicemen was out with a bad back.

I had a service appointment for a Wednesday (set up on the Monday I called) for a washer repair that needed to be rescheduled due to a health problem of the employee (this is unavoidable in my mind). I was given a 2 hour window for the next day and when noon showed up, I called to check on how much longer it would be. I felt bad for the woman I was talking with because she was truly apologetic, but it even turned out that the employee who was to be there did not have experience with my appliance. This was frustrating for both sides. With 2 small children this has been very inconvenient. I will be using another company for the repairs.

I was given an estimate on Friday, he had to order a part, and came back, as scheduled on Tuesday and finished the job.

The dishwasher was scratch/dent but nothing really visible. The choice was only from items in stock so there wasn't a lot of ability to cross price but I feel we saved several hundred dollars by purchasing from Broad Ripple Appliance. We were able to take the dishwasher in our SUV so there was no delivery charge and the install charge was comparable to HH Gregg and Sears and Best Buy's quotes. There was a small glitch in scheduling the installation but this only delayed the installation by a day. The installer was efficient. There was a 30 day guarantee but nothing occurred during this time.

1st service call on Sat.- came and cleaned back of fridge coils charged $50 and left 2nd service call on Mon. - came adjusted temperature controls charged $50 and left. After calling office telling them service techs didn't check anything and charged $100 and the fridge was still not cooling, they returned $50 and checked the unit. The service tech advised us that the fridge needed more repair than it would cost to buy a new one. Manager was very apologetic for our inconvenience and the poor service. She would investigate the hurried service.

Repair person entered and completed work. He cleaned his area upon finishing.

I called to ask about buying a scratch and dent off of them for my garage. They explained to me that new refrigerators have a coolant that will gum up in an unheated garage. So, buying a new fridge would be a waste of money because it'll be ruined in less than a year! I explained to them that my freezer was heavily frosting up and the fridge was staying luke warm (but relatively cool). They wanted to at least look at it to see if it was salvageable...it was! They did a great job and I am thrilled to have spent under $100.

I called on a Tuesday, and Broad Ripple Appliance had someone here on Wednesday. The technician showed up on time and was able to diagnose the problem right away. Unfortunately he didn't have the part needed for the repair, it had to be ordered. In the meantime he was able to rig the machine up to work while we waited on the part. He came back two days later and installed the part. Our washer works great now.

It was a tough job for them to remove the old stove, but they were very persistent in removing it and installing new stove. Very happy with service and would use again.

Fast and low priced service everytime.

They thought it might be the timer. They ordered the timer, put it in, and that wasn't it- it was the motor. They put the new motor in and it works fine. The only problem I had with them was communication because I thought they were coming one day and they came the next day. This happened when they came to put in the timer and the motor.

The overall experience was very good.

I called on Monday, they were there on Tuesday. It's only been a couple of days so I don't know if the defrost will work but the ice dispenser is working nicely. The gentleman that showed up was nice, clean, and friendly. Total job took about 3 hours because he had to run from Broadripple to 30th and Georgetown to get parts. I liked the fact he tried to repair the ice dispenser motor before replacing it even though the repairs failed. He tried saving me money. He told me what it would cost before the work was done and he stuck to it. Repairs have a 30 labor/90 day parts warranty.

Allen was very thorough when he installed the dishwasher and overall did a very nice job.

They did some cleaning on the broiler. It worked after he left. Serviceman was very nice. Called before coming out.

He was so nice. I was really really pleased.

Broad Ripple Appliance has given me sound information which saved me money. They seem to be a very service oriented company.

They had to replace a part for my old dryer, but the cost was reasonable for what they had to do.

Frank the repair man was prompt (called before they came to the house), courteous and knowledgeable.

The repairman was late. However, he did call and apologized. He had had a really bad day.

The company sent out their technician very soon after my phone call. He was polite and knowledgeable. He assured me that my washer was definitely worth the cost of the repair. The work was done within a day and a half. The price was very reasonable; it included the initial diagnosis, the cost of the part, and the return to my home to install the part and check the washer to make sure it was functioning properly. I was very pleased to find this company through Angie's list and will definitely call them again!

The repair person was on time, explained what the problem was and how he was going to fix it -- and he was very reasonable.

Checked several things; did not give up. Found a simple re-connection would fix; did not need to replace any component. Kept trying when first theory was wrong. Held down time charge for time spent on ''wrong'' approach.

First visit was by an obviously new and relatively inexperienced person. His only comment was that the dryer vent needed to be cleaned, and that such work was the owner's responsibility. No work was performed or attempt at a diagnosis made. Subsequently the owners cleaned the vent which was moderately coated with lint, but this had no affect on the underlying problem. A second visit was demanded (at no charge since it was within the 30 day warranty period for a prior visit). An experienced serviceman accompanied the original service man. The problem was diagnosed, but without a stated certainty, so no action was taken at the serviceman recommendation. Eventually a second company was called, and the problem was IMMEDIATELY diagnosed and repaired. Broad Ripple Appliance does not appear to have the technical capability or training to handle printed circuit board based appliances such as this type of problem. Broad Ripple Appliance's approach is only simplistic.
